The Chibi senshi was hot on the trail of a youma. She was curious about what this one was going to turn out to be. She'd seen Dinos, spider monkeys and more weird things. She was hoping at LEAST one turned out to be normal, though Schee's thing was pretty cute with the whole neon-green squirrel thing.
She paused standing the lid of a dumpster peeking around the corner of a building. It was a large porcupine looking youma. Probably about the side of a medium sized dog, she frowned quickly how was she going to take care of this? The bear was hanging in the crook of her arm.
"Hm... this one looks prickly..." She said out loud, at least it wasn't TOO scary.

Sailor Chaonis was not doing anything. As per usual, it seemed. He often found himself slacking off, which was exactly the way he wanted to be. Tonight he was not doing his duties as a senshi by instead lounging in a tree, knocking down all the peaches from it idly. It was situated in someone's backyard, and he imagined they would be a bit confused come morning to find a pile or fruit on the floor.
It wasn't the most interesting thing the senshi had ever done.
Sensing something nearby, Chaonis hopped from the tree and bounced to the top of the fence, but wasn't close enough to see. After some climbing and roof hopping, though, he found the alley where a youma was sniffing around.
And then he saw the smallest senshi he'd ever noticed before. Tilting his head to the side, he decided to watch and see what she did. First, however, the youma needed to notice her.
Taking a loose bit of roof from the ground, Chaonis dropped it behind the youma, so it would turn around. Once it spotted the small senshi, Chaonis would be able to see if she was in any way useful. He didn't intend for her to get hurt, since she was just a kid, but a little scare and some trial by fire never hurt anyone.
Right?

When the thing from the roof dropped Hugbell's eyes took themselves from the youma, what was that?
However, when she looked back down, it seemed that the porcupine noticed her, well it was lumbering her way. "This is not good..." She muttered as she watched it clumsily wobble it's way to her with it's short legs and big fat body.
"No, no go away!" Perhaps it was a good thing the dumpster lids were closed. It couldn't get up there right?
She was looking around for anything that might be of use, which seemed to be not very much. "Good Youma." She muttered. When suddenly it seemed to do a hand stand and whip it's tail towards her sending needles flying.
"AH!!! She cried as she dove behind the dumpster her hood got shredded, and by sheer luck it narrowly missed her neck.

Chaonis leaned on the side of the roof, looking down into the alley. He started laughing as the slow little youma bobbled its way toward the little senshi. He thought the sight was too much. It really trivialized being a senshi, and, at the same time, being a youma.
There were two tiny examples of their respective identities, both meant to be strong and useful for their own causes. A senshi, a powerhouse of protection to the innocent. A youma, the scary things meant to scare. Neither of the examples below seemed to fit those descriptions.
And then, of course, he was surprised. The youma threw its tail over his head, and spikes went flying, sending the senshi into hiding. Chaonis got up on instinct, thinking that wasn't good, and not what he wanted to have happen.
Yeah, they were both small and probably worthless, but he didn't want to be responsible for getting anyone killed.
He dropped down from the roof, landing on top of the dumpster.
"You okay back there?"

Hugbell was taking inventory of what was... well missing. Looking up to see a few strands of her hair and ripped pieces of her hood attached to the needles she squeaked.
When asked if she was okay she looked up towards the question eyes huge and she seemed to be shaking a little. "That one almost got me...." She muttered.
Peeking out from behind the dumpster she saw the youma wobbling over to where she was again. "Uh-oh..."
She was scrambling to get back on top of the dumpster, she didn't want this thing to get more of her than it already had. Her teddy bear had been forgotten on the ground behind the dumpster....

Chaonis watched her, letting her struggle for a bit, but saw that the youma was getting closer. He moved to grab her, hoisting her up onto the relative safety of the trash can just in time to avoid being skewered by another attack from the porcupine. At least if they were in the center of the bin, crouched down, the youma wouldn't be able to hit them. It was too short from the angle they were at.
And it would take him some while to walk far enough away to get a better shot, what with those tiny legs. But it seemed to see a different target.
A little lost teddy bear.
Chaonis saw it and sighed. He didn't realize he was almost being nice to the same girl he had made cry before. But to be fair, they were both undercover.
He bounced down to draw the attention of the little youma, not feeling too intimidated despite the needles. "Hey, pokey, come over here. Let me stomp on your head and put you out of your misery."

Hugbell squeaked when she was lifted up blinking looking at Chaonis. "Oh, thank you." She said when she was back safely on the dumpster.
She looked at the bear. Oh... well She blinked. "Are these things easy to move?" She asked curiously she knew in cartoons sometimes they were. However she wasn't sure about this one.
She also didn't realize he was the jerk from before that ripped her book. Of course she'd probably still hug him... later of course.
She watched him. "Ohhh careful!" She called watching the youma turn towards the other senshi looking as if it was insulted by being called pokey it started ambling over towards Chaonis, this one would be easy to stick!

Chaonis tilted his head, watching the youma and underestimating it entirely as it ambled toward him with an air of indignation about it. He grinned broadly, unable to keep the amusement from his face. What a stupid thing! What good could it possibly do anyone, even bad guys?
Nope, it was humane to put it down, so it didn't embarrass itself further.
Cracking his knuckles, the less than intelligent Senshi of Danger decided that instead of trying to kill the thing with his regular strength, or ask if the Chibi senshi had any attacks that might spare half of the alleyway, he opted to go for down and out destruction.
"Warning! Fisticuffs ahead!"
He felt the boost of strength course through him, like a shot of adrenaline, and his eyes flashed to match his grin. He charged forward, foot raised, and made to stomp the thing into oblivion.
Which, of course, was a terrible idea and he just ended up with long needles piercing his thick shoes as the youma turned and defended itself.
"OUCH!"

Hugbell watched the youma and the senshi of danger. She frowned, this was probably not going to end well. Even children knew spiky things weren't something you toy with, specially when it looked like a pen cushion.
"Um..." She tried to stop him, when he started running, but... too late. She winced, that had to hurt as he had his foot pierced by the animal.
She waved her hand, "Excuse me...." She called at him. "Is this as easy to move as it looks like on TV?" Hugbell's head tilted curiously as she watched him.
"If they are would you hop over here and bring him around the front. I have an idea." She smiled, of course she was unsure if it'd work. She could hope it would. "Just you know... don't stand within range of the dumpster..."

Chaonis looked up at the little senshi and frowned. He sighed, nodding his head and hopping over. Hell, if she had an idea he might as well go with it, right? It wasn't like his idea had worked out.
Not that he was willing to admit it. Whatever happened, he had weakened the youma, for sure.
"Better do it fast, kid," he said, knowing his attack had a habit of backfiring when it was least convenient, though now that he was anticipating it he had to wonder when that could be. Maybe that was the trick to mastering it? Not being surprised by it, and trying to ex-
No. As the floor started to shake and the ground split open, Chaonis could see that this was not the case. His attack had expelled its energy, as it always did, shaking violently.

Hugbell watched him hop and the prickly youma follow. When the ground started to shake she squeaked, quickly stooping down so she could keep her balance on the dumpster lid. "Woahhh~"
"I-i-i-i Think there's a-a-an Earthquake!" She called back at Chaonis. When the ground split she decided it might be better to get behind the other senshi. Watching the poor confused youma scrabble towards them she blinked. "COMFY TEDDY CATCHES!" She called hoping that the teddy would expand and move the dumpster into the youma. Maybe it'd fall in the split?
She watched as the poor left behind teddy bear began to grow behind the dumpster, expanding in the space that was left, the dumpster seemed to shutter but not quite move. Maybe it was to heavy! She darted behind it and tried to help move it. "Come on...."

"Something like an earthquake," Chaonis mumbled, knowing better. But he hadn't warned her, and wasn't planning on saying that it was his attack getting them in trouble, instead letting her think it was just good ol' mother earth giving them a shake.
He saw the little girl run behind the dumpster and try to push it, frowning at the sight.
She was far too small.
Feeling an unfamiliar tug of responsibility, he hurried over, hobbling, and shoved his shoulder into the dumpster, helping her move it forward. It lurched and then managed to tip up, snagging in a split in the ground, and fell down on top of the youma.
That was one way to do it, at least.

Hugbell watched the container as it flipped over and landed on top of the youma. She chuckled, and grinned, "Thank you."
The teddy bear looked to be about the size of a twin bed now popping up and wobbling a bit when it was freed from the dumpster. "Oh..." she paused and knocked over the teddy before climbing up and jumping on the bear to make him shrink. "Well that didn't work like I wanted it to."
She was looking at the dumpster. "What do we do with it?" She asked curiously. Should they call someone else to have them help dust it? She couldn't help but wonder.

Stooping, the Senshi of Danger pulled out the spines the youma had left in his shoe, shaking his head. No real harm done.
"We kill it," Chaonis said, grinning. He hopped up onto the dumpster, then started bouncing on it with all his weight. He wanted to crush the youma underneath, and imagined eventually the thing would just pop.
How long could it take all that pressure on it, anyway?
He did look at the little girl, though, tilting his head.
"Not hurt, right?" he asked vaguely, not seeing her get hit with anything, but just making sure. His foot didn't hurt as badly now, and he knew the spines had just been superficial.

"Oh." She tried to crawl up on the dumpster with teddy bear back in her arm.
When she managed to scrabbled up, It took a few seconds. She joined in on the jumping of the dumpster. It didn't seem like a normal sort of way to solve things, but perhaps better than getting stuck.
She pondered as she checked her neck with her hand. Which was probably were the spines would've gotten her. "I think just my hood's ripped and maybe a slight haircut." She said thoughtfully, as she pulled her hand away. There wasn't any blood so that was good...
"Is your foot okay?" She asked curiously.
