The headmistress uses the holographic touch screen's eraser function to erase what she had written on the board from the previous class
She looks over her shoulder as the students shuffle in and out of the classroom
The same set up is used from the willpower class with many groups of color coordinated desks facing a holographic board and a podium next to a teacher's desk
Thank you for joining our class
I will begin momentarily
keep in mind this class will change settings once we have laid the ground work.
Tomorrow we will be meeting out on the grounds

"Oh god, I'm early for once!" Midnight says outloud as she enters the classroom. "Sweet" she takes a seat up front in a purple chair.
"I really hate these color coded chairs... What if someone just like.. rearranged all of them to be nothing but blue & orange for a day?." she snickered to herself.

You and me both midnight. I love the color black but i have to sit in the forth row in white. Oh and btw do we have to live in the white dorms if we're light powered or can be go choose one of the others. Apollo laid her head on the table in boredom then realised she was early.

"Oh, was something not to your liking with the white dorms? Or were you just wondering. I'm fairly certain the color you chose is what dorm you're supposed to be in. But aside from myself, no one but you has chosen that color I don't think. Well, at any rate, I'm certain the Headmistress will be more than happy to answer any questions you have concerning the matter." *Shrugs* "And hey, at least you're not completely alone back here."

"i too had a hard time deciding my place until i spoke with her who gave me a choice between fire and illusion my name is Scarlett by the way and i'm directly above you in the same dorm Midnight room number 4"

All right ladies welcome to our first elemental class
Our first class is being held here in the classroom simply to get most of the informational part of the curriculum covered
After today this class will become very hands on with your magic
All right lets get started
At this school we have color coordinated a broad selection of elements
this is why you choose a colored table and dorm in colored rooms
The first directional choice you make in regards to color coincides with your primary magical element
Naturally these elements are
Fire
Speed
Electricity
Growth
Water
Illusion
Love
Earth
Time
Light
Sound
Wind
Of course many magical girls do not fall into this precise structure and must come as close to their natural ability as they can in there choice
These girls are neither at advantage or disadvantage in this school for even though we do not specialize in teaching their specific field they will gain valuable insight on how other magical girls function and a variety of powers to test against plus the experience needed to hone their unique skills
For many magical girls you will excel at a few of these but no ability in others.
This is the most common scenario and much of the curriculum here at the school is designed for this kind of magical learning
Very rarely you will stumble across what is known as an elemental magical anomally
This individual will have the ability to harness all of the elements
A magical girl like this is a gem and a treasure among us
She will be destined to rise to greatness of a 'Goddess'
These rare few are those who become leaders of the most recognized magical teams
For example
many of you are familiar with 'Sailor Moon'
This magical girl was one of the pioneers among magical girls
Which is not surprising considering she was one of these elemental magical anomalies
For those of us who can harness a few elements we have an order that we tackle them
The element we begin with and are often times strongest with is our primary element
When we pick up other elements to after our primary element we find ourselves falling back on our primary choice when in a pinch
I myself have 'Love' as my primary element
Probably one of the most important notes when dealing with elemental magic is that our strongest magic is formed by combining as many elements as we can
These combinations form a joined stronger element than if we used the multiple elements separately at the same time
These combination elements often have no name of there own, so don't worry if you one day make a combination that you cannot define in our limited languege
You can make these combinations yourself or with a partner by willing the elements to combine
If you are magicking a combination with a partner both parties must will their magic together
Under most circumstances a magical girl cannot steal magic from another
There are a few rare exceptions to this rule, but we do not cover these in the curriculum at this school at this time due to their controversial nature
This knowledge along with your own control of willpower and imagination will allow you to harness your elemental choice
