The Church is located a little ways outside the southern downtown district. It is here where people flooded to during the height of the incidents that plagued Inaba. Once the lock down occurred and demon manifestation became apparent the church was considered a safe haven. However after a demon manifested and attacked a church goer, only a few people now frequent the silent halls of this building. The back side of the building is made of two floors where there are several offices and above are the bedrooms of the church. Here is where Sister Elizabeth resides. One can often see her at the alter praying. The church is always open from early morning until late night.

Yelizaveta Ivanovna "Sleep...sleep...sleep..." Delicate steps echoed throughout the building as booted feet warily walked slowly through halls, slender and pale fingers brushing the wooden benches idly as the white haired girl passed, violet eyes staring at the distortioned faces of saints and virgins in the candle light, the eerie glass mossaics mirroring on the cold ground, the empty and abandonded hallways. "On the edge you mustn't lie...or the little grey wolf will come..." Yelizaveta stopped in front of the many statues, lingering just for a moment longer. A frown creased her lips, her eyes becoming just a little harder before returning her gaze back to the ground as she continued her tour around the 'sacred place.' "And will n** you on the tum..." How long had it been since she had been in a place like this? She had been just a mere child. A child with a strict mother...in a harsh and cold environment. She had stopped praying a long time ago, though... It hadn't stopped them from coming. Hadn't stopped them from whispering in her ear...pulling at her hair... "Tug you off into the wood..." No... hadn't helped her with her fears... "Underneath the willow-root."
Old lullabies did just as much to ease the snowy haired girl's nerves. Ray's idea of a fun night hadn't been what any of them had expected; Embryon captains showing up out of nowhere. And as much as she hated to retreat...confronting two Embryon wasn't really a safe move at the moment. Not when they weren't impersonating the filthy Crows...not when it could bring down everything they had achieved until the moment. So... as quickly as they had gotten there...they had to retreat, leaving the place half destroyed, and her twice as annoyed. The group had gone their separate ways after that... How had she ended up in a church? ...The girl wasn't even sure herself. Old memories... just pure boredom...or whatever reason... Now she knew it hadn't done anything for her bad temper. There was nothing for her to do there...Not since many years before...not now.
A scoff left her lips, not taking a last glance to the altar in front of her, before turning on her heels; this time, the echo not as delicate as before.

Ŧєяoѕ the ѕoηgѕŧєя → Inaba There's a ѕι¢к ℓιттℓє ѕυι¢ι∂є xxxin αℓℓ that we do. xxxxxxThere's a ѕι¢к ℓιттℓє ѕυι¢ι∂є xxxxxxxxxin αℓℓ that we do... xxxxxxxxxxxxYσυ ∂є¢ι∂є xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxωнι¢н σηє'ѕ ƒσя уσυ!? Will you listen?
At the front of the church next to the altar itself, a strange sight was occurring. One of the extremely large stone statues of one of the saints started to shift, sliding for a moment before rocking and then leaning, it continued leaning seemingly of it's own accord all the way up to the point that it lost its balance completely tumbling down to the floor below it with a cacophonous BOOM exploding against the stone floor and sending bits of debris scuttling across the floor, sliding all the way to the back. And behind there the statue was once stood, stood a man that would once more be immediately recognized by Liz, as Teros. He looked down at the pile of rubble laying on the floor, the statue had to have weighed at least a thousand pounds, it was clear over thirteen feet tall and solid stone, yet here Teros stood, seemingly having pushed it with not a drop of sweat on his brow, dusting grey powdered residue off of his hands. He pulled his hands up to his face clasping them and bowing his head for a moment. "And now we lay him down to rest." He said mockingly lifting his head and rolling his eyes grinning as he stepped off the platform from the altar. As he looked up for the first time, he noticed his fellow church goer, and his eyes widened in surprise. "Why, my darling I never knew you were the Religious type." He said, obviously surprised. He strode forward with the familiarly unnatural speed, stopping a short distance on front of Liz. "Hmm you know something I Realized, we keep running into each other like this, and yet we've never been properly introduced! How ungentlemanly of me. I'm Teros, it's a pleasure to meet you... miss?" He asked curiously, holding out a hand as if to take hers for a moment, properly.

Yelizaveta Ivanovna As cold and impassive as the Russian woman was, she couldn’t have stopped herself from startling at the thunderous noise behind her a moment after she turned around, almost making her way outside of the church, even if she had wanted to. Nothing could have warned her of the huge statue mysteriously falling from its place; and if she had been superstitious (which she wasn’t…at all) she would have even believed that to be a signal of some kind. She wasn’t though, so it all came down to one single thought inside of her mind: she was being attacked. Though, unlike many, she didn’t jump on her place, her heart racing at the abrupt noise, but unsheathing both knives with such a speed not even the rubble had finished rolling up to her before she was already on her defensive stance, prepared for anything coming her way. Senses sharpened, any useless thought shoved to the back of her mind. Any trace of lethargy from her part was gone, a complete hard expression on her features. Eyes quickly shifted to the small pebbles that were once the statue to the place where it just stood a moment ago…narrowing her eyes into dangerous slits. An ambush was the first thought that came to mind as a figure came to view; even if it wasn’t all that visible due to the dust, she could only guess the owner of it…one of the Embryon captains had managed to trail them down…and for that, she blamed herself. She had been careless, drowning on her own annoyance and thoughts…and now she would have to- “You…”
Only that…it wasn’t the Embryon captain…or any other enemy she had been expecting. The familiar voice and silhouette had been enough to grasp the identity of the ruckus maker. That didn’t make her lower her weapons though, just relaxing the stance just a little bit, as he got nearer. Twice today she had bumped with him… It was two times more than what she ever wanted. “I am not,” Veta answered curtly, ignoring his introduction and his extended hand, before returning her gaze to him. “What are you doing here?...”

Teros shook his head from side to side as Liz immediately jumped to arms, drawing her daggers as if she were being attacked. Well, that was more emotional response than he'd ever seen out of her! Maybe he should drop thousand pound statues more often... regardless as she confronted him, completely ignoring his introduction he sighed, clicking his tongue, a solid tsk tsk. "What am I doing here? Why I'm destroying this sacred holy ground of course. If I want the world to end, there can't be places like it thus here I am tearing it down... I'd ask why you were here but I already know, you came following me of course." He said his voice taking an obviously fake dramatic tone like out of a bad movie. "Why, you just had to see me one last time... but don't worry, my mysterious fox I know exactly how to solve this." He continues, the dramatic voice only growing as he goes. As he finishes talking however, his body explodes with a dark aura, his eyes pulsing to a glowing yellow as he shoots forward, quickly grasping her wrists firmly. In an instant, he leans in close... and presses his lips to hers, only for one brief magical moment, before he quickly lets go shifting backwards about twenty feet, a good few arms lengths between them. "There my dear! Now you can go satisfied!" He says, the dramatic voice making its last appearance as he relaxes slightly, grinning devilishly and winking. "Unless of course you'd rather stay." He says, in a confident mocking tone, kissing the air between them, his hands falling casually to his sides and his fingertips barely brushing what he has under his shirt.

Yelizaveta Ivanovna The answer given should have been something to expect: pure drivel. Again, here he was speaking about the worthless idea of the world’s end and how he wanted to be part of it. Idea that, even if she’d prefer to keep her usual stoic demeanor, made the snow haired Russian to roll her eyes, shifting her weight from a leg to the other. The world’s end… Tsk. Not that she cared much about life or feared death, for that matter…but, neither had she some kind of motivation to actually try and bring the world to its end. What for? … There was no reason that she held close that would induce her into such thoughts…or any other that required some kind of will from her part. Though… his intentions were again questioned by the woman. What was it that he really wanted? Or better to ask…why? Liz frowned though, scolding herself mentally for her interest in such answers, pushing aside the thoughts to the back of her mind.
An icy glare was shot towards the green eyed guy, his comment not being at all amusing to the woman, her lips pursing at the thought. “Following you? That is obviously not the case…” See him one last time? Tch… As if. She couldn’t care at all about him, much less change her plans to go and meet with him. Hell, it would have been better not to see him again. His mocking voice, his smirk… it was just too irritating for her. Especially, tonight. “I couldn’t care less about- !!” Had he said…solve this? That was the last thought that crossed through her mind before everything turned into blurry images and sounds. Her mind disconnected from her body and what happened next only registered as unrelated muffled noises, a black aura exploding in front of her, and flashes of mocking gold moving closer…
So he had finally gotten tired of her? Hmph… To be expected, really. It all happened in an instant; his figure moving closer giving her just enough time to register the threat that was coming her way. Though, at the end, it wasn’t really what the snowy haired girl had been expecting. His approach at such abnormal speed gave her no time to resume the over defensive stance she had taken when the statue had fell so she could counter whatever attack he had in mind; not enough time to suppress the wince that had escaped her lips as a strong grasp took hold of her wrists; and over it all…it hadn’t given her enough time to fight back as lips forcefully pressed against her own.
And it was until then…that the ice mask finally cracked.
The instant fingers left the skin of her wrists, she swung her arms violently, in an attempt to wound flesh, but blades slashed at intangible air with, whistling. She growled, not seeing any crimson dripping from her blade. He had moved out of range before she could reply to his ‘solution’ to the nonexistent problem…the coward. “How…” She felt filthy…”How…” She felt mocked… Hands trembled with the contained anger, head lowered and eyes covered by a curtain of silvery hair. She felt… … “How dare you!” Eyes finally returned to him with a raw ire, her voice oozing the hate through clenched teeth. No more icy glares…no more cold answers. Everything inside of her was burning… And a single motivation rang inside of her mind: Him…dead. Dead!
Even now, he was mocking her with those beaming eyes and taunting smirk… Expecting her to come at him. But, at the moment, it meant nothing. All that matter was that she would destroy that haunting sneer, once and for all… Words died down, and in that same instant, she was already rushing forward, closing the space between them. The temperature dropped drastically then, a Niflheim coming to crash against him. This time…he had gone too far.

Teros looked at Liz as amusedly as ever, his mocking smirk merely growing wider as her look of outrage continued to build. He rolled his head slightly as she stuttered over her words, almost like he was urging her to get it out, and actually chuckled when she finally did. How dare he? Well that was a simple enough question to answer... Easily. Even as she began charging at him, the extremely powerful ice attack flying with her towards him he never dropped his smirk. Instead he simply raised one hand, spreading his fingers as if he were going to catch the attack... and as it crashed over him, thats exactly what he did. As the attack impacted him he grasped it right in its nucleus, its center, closing his hand as the attack fell with no effect. However, Liz... well she had closed in all too close to him. In an instant he had his hand held in front of him like he was holding a large orb and they started to pulse with powerful energy, without warning the nuclear spell freila fired from his hands, though not aimed at Liz, no instead aimed at the ground between them, closer to her than him. His goal was by no means to hurt her, he was merely using the shockwave to (hopefully) blow her backwards even as the ground between the exploded under the force of the attack. Teros cracked his neck, the confident grin remaining as he began to speak. "Now now, that just won't do. You seemed like you were actually trying to hurt me there. You seemed to cool headed before, it was something I liked about you even. But my dear, you have to think about this logically... I already told you it was an oddity that a man of my power and renown would be just hanging around. Everything I do is because, I simply can. Things like stopping your attack with my bare hands, or mustering a minuscule amount of my power like I just did." He started emphasizing the word power, even as he started walking towards her casually. He walked around the crater he had just made and stopped at the other side of it, merely making the space between them more even and less cluttered. "I mean really, your the first person I've come across in a long long while that I didn't simply stab or deal with at first sight. And I still have no intentions at all of hurting you. Though, I do believe you should go back to your... typical self, you know the cold seemingly emotionless woman who was just oh so tantalizing. Rage doesn't suit you, and I can assure you it's more my forte than yours." He finished offering his suggestion cooly and watching her carefully as he just grinned, and shifted to a more relaxed stance.

Yelizaveta Ivanovna Eyes widen for an instant, the ice attack completely absorbed and dismissed as if it had been nothing, before violet orbs narrowed once more, the fact that the spell hadn't caused a single scratch at the green eyed Messiah making the blind rage to boil inside of her. Ice didn't work... Fine. She didn't need it. She would have to resort to something else. Anything else! Though, the planning and thinking of the abilities she would use would have to wait; the same hand that had taken her Niflheim now bursting out a strong orb of energy at her direction...or close to her, anyway. She growled, jumping back as the Freila crashed against the ground, leaving a huge crater between them. The shockwave did reach her, almost making the snowy haired girl lose her balance. Liz stood up straight, brushing the dirt from her clothes as eyes remained on the cracked floor before her. Even if she hated to...she had to accept that attack was a powerful one...and that this man in front of her was no mere novice. He knew what he was doing...
"Shut up!" she growled, his words making her mood even more foul. Everything...he took like a game. A game he was sure he would win. As if she was nothing...as if her attacks meant nothing. As if he could just go around doing whatever he pleased. It was something she...couldn't do...not yet. Not without fearing that any wrong step could bring down all they were fighting for. But that matter not...at least, not at the moment. Not when she was fighting back the spiral of feelings inside of her. ...And that smirk! Eyes returned to him, only to meet playful eyes and smirk once again. How he irked her! She tightened the grip on her daggers, once more thrusting towards him, not wanting to listen to him anymore. Listen to his logic...to his voice. This time though, no spell blasted towards him, only swift movements of blades near flesh.

Teros merely rolled his eyes as she continued attacking this time foolishly thinking that she could run up and stab him. What nerve! Thinking that he would be the victim of his own game, and then doing it so... so blindly at that! Well, it looked like it was time to teach her why he had meant every word he just said... As she started at him is body became wrapped in shadows, and as she drew closer they exploded outwards revealing him in his dark Virtuoso, his demon form, his throat and mouth already charged with massive amounts of energy. He smirked as he reared back inhaling deeply before leaning forwards quickly, angling his mouth so that the attack wasn't directly on her before releasing the booming wail, the shockwave of high almighty damage emanating from him, only the edge of which impacted Liz, though even that small amount was enough to at least push her back. As the attack hit the floor however, once more a large crater formed, though where the last attack was powerful, this one was even more so, the crater larger and the rubble blasted further from the epicenter. He let his form fade back to normal as he crossed his arms over his chest, merely shaking his head from side to side. "Tsk tsk, now didn't I warn you that rage was my Forte? You even made me go and work into my virtuoso form, that's something I haven't done here in a good long while. You see... I make it a point to be as deadly and destructive and possible... if I had wanted to hurt you by now, you would be freely bleeding or worse. I mean really, you already know my favorite weapon is unheard agony... which means logically wouldn't I be strongest while im wielding it? If that's the case... then obviously these displays must still be fractions of my power..." He says chuckling slightly at the thought of drawing unheard agony. If he was forced to do that, he might actually get serious... "But as I've said, I find you irresistibly tantalizing. It would be nothing but a shame to mar you in any way, thus I shall avoid it as long as possible... as long as possible." He said, repeating the last statement with a voice of authority, his smile fading only as he said it before returning quickly.

Izaya AmatsuWhat a drag, just when he'd found a place that he thought no one in Inaba would come near, too. A high pitched whistle sort of split the air for a moment, but it didn't seem like anything significant enough to stop the tiff going on between the two Church goers. Of course, he'd been taking a nap on one of the benches inside, so right about now he was laying just below eye level in the middle of what had to be one awkward lovespat, considering he'd never even met the guy before, the voice sounded like Yelizaveta's emotionless, cool tone. Only of course, it seemed like it was getting a bit more high pitched than usual, something which he'd of cared about...if he wanted to stick his head up and get involved, that is. A sharp whistle came a second time, before Izaya muffled a loud yawn and rolled over on the bench, propping his chin up with a hand, not high enough to be seen again, sure, but enough to keep his head from laying on the hardwood some more. He stuffed his left hand into his pocket, attempting lazily to drag the glove off his hand without actually using the other hand, which was a bit preoccupied...by his sleeping posture. Finally he gave up with a sigh, but then didn't mean he wasn't still listening. This guy's technique left something to be desired, after all, and the sound of epic sonic blasts was enough to wake up even Cesc, so early in the morning. And he didn't like getting woken up...er, in the...morning...thing...
