Welcome all to cosmo canyon. Located on the western Continent in the middle of a desert, it is quite isolated. This has likely allowed its unique culture to thrive, creating much. The study of planet life was born here, and many say AVALANCHE was as well. IT is the home of a all but extinct race, which only a few members of remain. Nanaki, designated by hojo as Red XIII, is one of the few remaining members of this race.

Anyways, Cosmo Canyon attract's many people. Travelers find rest there, and its observatory as well as the inhabitant, the premier reasercher of planet life, Buganhagen, are some of the best in the world. Its calm atmosphere attracts yet more people, and its isolated position attract as well.

A figure of what seemed to be a tail with a flaming tip was the only thing seen disappear into a building as Nanaki leapt up to the few levels with ease, he ignored the staircase going up them for the humans that lived there, it was just easier this way for the lion-like beast. As he got to the top, Nanaki padded his way into the door, pushing it open with his head. His two cubs were down below, playing near the camp fire.He had come up here often to relax, and let his mind rest. Other times he would go down to the cave that was closed off to most in the village, fighting the monsters that roamed there to keep his training up, and to pay his respects to his father who stood there, he always seemed as though even though his life was taken over by stone, he was still always watching over the village.Nanaki sat down, his paws in front of him as he rested his head on them. His flaming tail curling up around him.

Nanaki's left ear twitched, as though he felt some sort of presence. He seemed to ignore it, it was probably the two cubs trying to sneak up on him like they seemed to love to do! But something told him to open his eye, as his tail flicked from side to side. That one golden eye opened up, and the lion-like beast lifted his head up. In seconds, he was up on all fours! "Grandpa!" He sounded like that same little Nanaki everyone had come to know two years ago. "How...?! You're..." He padded over to him, sniffing at him to make sure it was truely his very scent and not some twisted sick joke!

Nanaki took a small few paw-steps back. (XD ) And stopped sniffing at him. It was really Bugenhagen. This was simply amazing.If he came back maybe, somehow, his father was back too? He would have to go check on him later. "The Lifestream brought you back to us! " He said, at least that was what he thought. Everyone thought he had died two years ago.

Nanaki tilted his head, sitting down in front of Bugenhagen. He was the wise one, who knew so much more then probably anyone had known. But he, as well as everyone else had thought it was the Lifestream, the planet that had brought the former hero's back. "Really? I always thought when some of our friends returned, that it was an act of the Lifestream, the planet bringing them back to protect the earth again. There has been a lot of things going on currently. But.. What could it have been? " He asked calmly.

"Do you remember Aerith? She was brought back to life, along with a man named Zack Fair, he was a 1st Class Soldier. While our friends have come back to life, Sephiroth and his true mother Lucrecia Crescent are also back. Sephiroth isn't who he used to be, but he's quite a kind man now. Jenova, however, is back. And is also one of the threats once again. " He said, trying to explain things the best that he knew of right now. "You've been gone..for..2 years.."

Sutīru looked around for something that could help. He then saw the items shop. "It might take a few days," he told him. "But I'll fix you up. Until then, we'll have to stay at an inn." The chocobo rubbed his head against Sutīru's shoulder affectionately. He then walked up to the item's shop, keeping the chocobo out. When he returned, he led the animal toward the inn. However, he went to the back. "Unfortunately you can't go inside," he said petting the animal. "So you'll have to sleep in the tent." He then set up the tent and went back to the entrance to the place. When he got to his room, he sat on the bed and thought. "I finally have a chocobo," he thought. "But I can't ride him until he's healed and lets me do so." With thoughts last thoughts, he fell into a long sleep.

Sutīru yawned when he woke up that day. He went out of the inn to check up on the animal. His condition was surprisingly stable. He carefully removed the dressing and saw he was completely healed. "I'm better healer then I give myself credit," he thought. "Now I better get him to a stable." He sighed. "It's times like this that made me wish I never built that raft," he thought. "You know what they say, want somethin' done do it yourself. I'll go look for wood. I need to build a fence. The best place would be Nibelheim." The chocobo then woke up and raised its head. "C'mon," he said. "We're goin' to Nibelheim." The chocobo then stood up and they both walked out of the tent. However, the left it for someone else to find. The chocobo instinctively bent over for Sutīru to climb upon his back. They then rode off toward Nibelheim.
