It was another beautiful day and Jason was getting restless inside of the house and it's many floors as well as the aviary, soon getting on Geoffrey's nerves with how often he literally scared the crap out of his poor old owls. Hand in hand with his brightly colored son, who was currently wearing a short sleeved shirt that fit snugly but not too snug and a pair of shorts, the wizard made his way to the park.
"Daddy daddy! You think I'll make fwends?" Jason chirped as he looked up at his scruffy father with his big, bright blue eyes. The old man laughed, "Of course. Just try not to scare anyone, alright?" Geoff asked before letting his son off at the edge of the playground play area, thankful that muggles had made the squishy foam product to lay under the playground. The birdlike boy laughed and jumped as he made his way to the platform with the largest slide, wanting to feel the rush of wind, unaware that he'd be coated in static at the end. As he got to the top platform, his blue eyes scanned the area before he noticed a bench made out of pipes that the entire play place was made out of.
Climbing on top of it, he gripped the deep green bars with his tiny hands, grinning as he looked around at the clear blue sky and his surroundings. "Wooow." He nearly shouts, hopping up and down happily.

Cambria had escaped the evil make up. Alice couldn't make her get dressed up for another annoying pageant. She might have gotten her into the dress, but she had bitten her when she came near with the lipstick. Cambria'd then scampered out of the chair and out the front door, running as fast as her little heeled feet could go. She'd wound up at the park.
Much better. Clearly it was time to slide. She momentarily got distracted by the metal chains on the swings but returned to her focus. She liked heights and the biggest slide was calling her name. With care she climbed up the steps. She was surprisingly graceful in her little heels (she'd have to be with Alice as her mother, constantly putting her in pageants.) When she got to the top she saw another meta (he had weird hair). She cocked her hip, tossed her feathers and stared him down. "Ladies get to use the slide first."

Letting out a silly sounding chirp, Jason turned to the voice that had sounded rather forceful. Eyes still wide from looking around at the sights, they would go even wider if they could when he saw the dark skinned girl in heels and all dressed up. "Go ahead, girly, I was checkin' out the sky anyway." the boy went back to grinning and looking up at said bright blue sky.
Oh he wanted to fly, fly so high he could touch the clouds. Maybe one day he could fly. "You has feathers, can you fly?" He asked without turning back to ask the girl, half hoping she would respond.

Cambria was just settling herself down (satisfied that the boy had pretended to stare at the sky when she knew he really wanted to slide) at the top of the slide and preparing to revel in ruining the stupid dress when she heard SillyBoy address her. She looked over her shoulder and blew a stray feather out of her face. "Nope. Not yet." She let out an unholy grin, "But I will. That sky's mine."

The boy frowned, "The sky's big enough fer more than you, girly." he states as he hops off of the bench and squats down just behind the silver haired girl, his eyes darting all over her, wanting to know why she was dressed up and in heels. It didn't help that Jason was naturally curious, but this girl, she was different, way different and it was making his curiosity burn like a fire.
"Ammahzin'.." Jason says before smiling his usual smile, this time it was bigger. He was content just watching this strange little lady for awhile.

"Mebbe it is, and mebbe it isn't! But it's mine. Definitely." She stuck her tongue out at him. When he crouched behind her, she reached out and poked his nose none too gently. She inched further towards the slide and with a cheery wave pushed off and went flying down the slide with a thrilled squee.
The dress was made of slippery fabric and was nice and fluffy, a perfect cushion. She reached the bottom and didn't catch herself so that she landed with a thump on her bottom. Ha, dress in the dust.

Jason scrunched his nose as it was poked rather hard, his grin turning to a thin frown and he soon threw himself into the slide, head first. Screaming at the top of his lungs, mainly because he could and not because he wanted the girl at the bottom to get out of the way. If he did land on top of her, it'd be more of a reason to find out what she was and why she was dressed up in a fancy dress. "I am lightniiing!" The boy shouted as he felt the small zaps of static electricity hitting his skin, causing his fire like hair stand on end in a silly looking wave.

As soon as she heard the sound of body hitting slide and the shrill scream she threw herself out of the way. When the little boy landed she sat up and peered at him through her thick lashes and blew another stray feather out of her eyes. His hair was even weirder then before. She burst out cackling in amusement. So what if he'd almost landed on her. His hair was hilarious.
She stood up, and dusted her dress off, more for the movement involved then any care for the dress. "Thanks for the warning, Boyo." Hey, if he could call her "girly" then he'd be Boyo until he told her his name, maybe even after.

Landing with a loud, somewhat painful sounding thud on his chest, the phoenix boy grunted before slowly sitting up. "Ow.. that hurt." He frowns, though when he sees the girl, he grins brightly, moving a hand up to push back his hair. "Th' names Jason, whats yurs?" He asks, "An why're you in a dress 'n heels .. do you not cares about it..?" he murmurs, noticing that it was now covered in dirt, though as he looked back up to look at the strange girls face, he noticed her eyes.
"Pretty.."

Cambria preened her feathers a bit when he called her pretty. Of course she was pretty. And now she knew his name. "I'm Cambria. And Alice put me in this stupid dress 'cause she wanted to put me in 'nother pageant. I hate them." Here she stomped her little heeled foot. "And if you didn't want it to hurt you shouldn't have slid down face first." She didn't bother to stick around and wait for his response. That slide hadn't been slid down near enough. So she trecked back up the stairs to go down again.

Jason didn't have a chance to make a comment about the last bit of what the girl had said, though a firm pout on his face that showed slight frustration also showed that he wasn't going to give up on finding out what the girl was. "What are you?!" He shouted, hoping to get some sort of response from her, more than a simple 'I'm a girl, silly.' sort of thing. If anything, Jason was expecting for Cambria to know what she was.
The silly thing about that is that the boy doesn't know what he is, his parents hadn't bothered to tell him yet, considering he'd seen his father using magic, he just assumed he could use magic too.

Cambria paused half way up the stairs. She turned to look at him and gave him a puzzled and amused look. "I'm a girl." Clearly Jason was figuring her out. "And I'm a person, and a Meta, and awesome, and going to slide again. Does that answer what I am?" Stupid boy. He should be able to see all of those things. Where had he been? Under a rock?

The little fiery boy frowned, his hair starting to spike up a little like a Cockatoo's crest, agitated that he didn't really get a good answer. "NO! I mean what are you, are you? You look differen' from anyone else I's seens and I wanna know what chu are!" He pouts, throwing a little hissy fit at the fact that he didn't get a good enough answer. Jason wanted to know what species/sub-species of 'meta' the girl was, not the fact that she was one, was a girl and was 'awesome', as Cambria put it.

Cambria frowned. What did it matter? What a nosy!boy! She watched his hair fluff up and wondered if she could get her feathers to do that. "Um." She scratched her nose. "I'm a fallen, whatever that means." She didn't care. She was herself and that was all that mattered.
"How do you get your hair to fluff up like that?" On to important matters.

Now pleased at the answer he was finally given, Jason's hair started to droop back to it's normal fluffy texture, that was until said hair was mentioned -- It stopped where it was, halfway between being raised and lowering. "Whaddya mean?" He asked, putting his own hands on his hips, not knowing what his own hair was doing, which was quite surprising considering this wasn't the first time his hair acted like a crest.
