She agreed to meet Lyra on the roof of one of the old brick abandoned factories so that they could spar in peace, it was a good enough vantage point that Mu thought they could probably see anyone coming...unless they teleported. Sadly there was nothing to quite defend against that, but they could cross that bridge when they came to it. She paced, and did 'stretches' like they recommended on some of the exercise videos she had purchased.
She wasn't -positive- that Lai-bo was doing her any real good as a self defense style, but it was at least a work out, then again so was the "New York City Ballet Exercise tape..." ...actually she thought that one was more intense but it didn't have you throwing any punches, and she wouldn't be pirouetting anyone to death any time soon.

She hoped that the building was large enough for them to maneuver while they sparred. The good thing about the location, it was abandoned... so no one will be watching... and their were more than one building right next to each other, a easy jump for a senshi.
Using the ladder she climbed up the side of the building to find Mu already being there. Why the hell was Lyra always late? Sigh.
Her white outfit stuck out like a sore thumb against the night sky... Mu on the contrary, blended in really well. "Ready?" She called approaching the other senshi.

"SO ready." Came MuCephi's cheerful reply. "Don't make that face! You aren't late I swear!" She added with a small laugh. "I was just here FAR too early." She clapped and spun in place, far too much energy.
"I'm so glad you agreed to this, I need so much practice, and it's SO impractical to fight in a skirt" She bemoaned. "Actually I think it's worse since I went 'super' really...the back is longer, so theirs more dignity but more of it to flip around too...and don't even get me STARTED on this -top-" She bemoaned with an roll of her eyes.

Lyra couldnt stop herself from laughing a little, it was so good to see a friend after all the recent happenings. "Well if you have the chest, flaunt it? Good for distracting the negamen!" She grinned. "And are you suuuure its just the skirt making it harder?" clearly teasing about her back end as well.
"Ive been getting a bit too much practice recently." She sighed and shrugged. "Then again i swear my skirt got shorter... and i dont have a chest to contend with. Or distract." She laughed shortly.
"...So what did you want to start with?"

"Ohhh Don't belittle yourself, you're plenty distracting trust me!" laughed Ume and moved to give her team mate a hug before backing up again.
"How about... we stick with the basics, kicks and punches for when we can't do our... 'thing' anymore" She said with a decisive nod. It seemed the smartest thing to practice.
She backed up a few steps further and practiced a mid level kick in her boots, not as bad as she once was, the heels were treacherous if you weren't mindful of them, but at least they were more stable in their construction than some of what she had at home.

"You mean my hair right? Ive been told i look like a portable flame." She rolled her eyes and watched her friend kick and laughed. "Remind me to avoid that heel of yours, you got higher and might i say.. pointier boots than i got when i went super!"
She tried to mimic the kick, which was possible but she was just a SMIDGE more clumsy about it. "You think it would be more beneficial if we attack each other?" She wondered.

"I do think so...and you don't look like a flame, people LOVE red-heads, its in all the books and movies." Ume nodded sagely and moved closer. "Ready?....also... just think how many crimes of passion are committed for red-heads, face it love, your kind of exotic!"
"Ok...I'll start out with a kick but after that we don't warn each other...ok?" She said with a grin.

"People say red heads are blonds with tempers." She snorted and rolled her eyes. "And oh love no ones been chasing my skirt unless its trying to kill the human under it." She laughed and braced herself, nodding before backing away, preparing for the kick.

"Oh Pooo..." Ume said. "No one's chased mine in a long while either. Honestly though..." She said and swept her foot up for a high kick, aiming for Lyra's shoulder rather than her head out of politeness.
"I think the whole city is in this fight these days... it's why I want to see if we can't have a team meeting. It's getting... complicated."

Only because she anticipated it was she able to dodge slightly (still being nailed but not as hard) and make a return light jab back at her torso. "A team meet up would be for the best... more so because it feels like the whole city IS turning into a war zone. Your either senshi... Nega... or hunted. Sometimes mixing between those too. Those or youma."

"mmm...And Way too into Crime Scenes and Blood Spatter..I think." She said followed by a sharp exhale as she tried to tighten her abdominal muscles, she read somewhere that it helped.
She returned with a punch of her own.
"Even...the senshi don't have a unified front, if we don't... we're going to loose, and I'm afraid to think what that will mean. We're running out of time to be indecisive..."

"We all have our likes and dislikes? I mean... i'm not sure if girls my age should love Hello kitty still, but i LOVE cocoa cat?" She smirked and winced a little, not really preparing herself for the punch... but she was used to it so she rounded up and attempted a knee to Mu's gutt, to try and push her away.
"I agree... we were always divided more than together. Even our team seems to have lost touch. We still chat but its more like we work alone than together?"
A pause... and a look away. "Mu... do you think killing Negaversers... is a good thing? I..i mean." She looked back towards her team mate with a sigh. "A negaverser really has been getting to me the past few months. Dont worry about it." She shook her head, and went to continue her sparring.

She put both hands down, less an actual martial arts move as a desperate attempt to keep knee from stomach, it ended up with her lifted and unbalanced when the leg went back down and she landed again and she stumbled back with the very intent that Beth/Lyra had had.
"What do you mean getting to you?" She asked curious but posed ready to attack again.

Her fighting stance quickly turned into Lyra standing... arms relaxed, looking deeply troubled as she looked away from the fight. "Making me doubt myself. Putting ideas in my head... making me doubt im on the RIGHT side. Making ME out as the bad guy. I swear he is there when i don't expect him to be and when i go looking, he is gone. He knows exactly what to say and when, and is turning me against myself practically." She sighed and shook her head. "Stupid isnt it? That im actually questioning myself. That Captain has a way with words." And she didn't... what he was doing was deeply troubling her more than she showed, she just couldn't explain it. Something about Zinkenite made her want to believe him.

"Oh Honey...you can't let them get to you..." Ume's own stance cautiously dropped and she moved to put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"I can't say...how I feel about killing them, because I keep hoping there will be another way to deal with the problem. I'm the senshi of blood and I'm reluctant to spill it so easily. I don't think that 'Kunzite' was right to do what she did...I think we're DAMN lucky that Nova is back... I wish I knew her story but I haven't caught her to speak with her."
She shook her head and lifted her chin.
"But I do know...that We aren't the ones out there ripping star seeds out, we're the ones trying to stop that...and to me that puts a really big finger on the side of the scales that says we're doing ok. I don't think it's perfect...but it's a war, it can't be perfect... but... at the same time I think we're better off for having a side because it gives us something to work for."
