I finished my fist legit competitive team! With GOOD IVS! 8D I'm so happy. :'D I only used AR to check IVs!
Special thanks to KuraiKitty who taught me how to breed for good IVs in a legit way.
Anyways, Discuss
How did you feel when you completed your first competitive team? What was it? If you feel like sharing.

I felt lame because it sucked haha. It was something lame like.... a Swampert, a Machamp, and 4 others. I was too lazy for IV's and EV's, I only took into account natures and moves razz

Lets see, my first competitive team consisted of leftovers from In-game usage. I retrained them to correct their EVs. An Umbreon, Gyarados, Infernape, and Sceptile where my main force, but to my disappointment, once I learned about IVs I realized that only the Gyarados was worth something.
Then I had to train for the Gym Leader tournaments. I managed squeezing out a few new pokemonm and even though I got my a** handed to me, I still felt stronger and was atleast able to hold my Gym possition.
From there, I just kept studying Serebii, breeding pokemon, and got stronger from there.

Frankly, I'm a terrible battler and I'm still waiting on the day that I will be capable of making a halfway decent competitive battling team. Le sigh. pirate

As funny enough, my gym team was my first competative team. It really took alot of effort to make it work since in the begining, It could barely take on a straight up OU team. Thank god for many supportive moves and re-breeding efforts.
