Orphee ran through the leaves, kicking them up and watching them fall again, giggling to himself all the while. He liked learning how gravity works, learning that everything eventually falls down. Looking to his side, he saw a tree with a hole in it, and he was drawn my curiosity. What sort of things could hide in a hole in a tree? With no further thought, he stuck his nose right in, sniffing and nosing about.

(( Sorry for not telling you his name earlier xD;; ))
The sun was shining brightly today; it wasn't too warm nor too cold. It was a perfect day for Tsong to go and enjoy the sweet scent of flowers. He had awakened earlier than normal that day, and was up and ready to explore. Tsong... He adored days like this. It was just so... Peaceful.
In his bug-sized form, he zipped towards his favorite flowerbeds. There wasn't many left in this time of the year, but the flowers did smell as sweet as any other season. Tsong fluttered from flower to flower until he found the perfect one to sit on and enjoy for the time being.
The flower was a big orange one, where he blended in nicely. Tsong wanted to sit there in the quietness enjoying the scent, but he didn't know there was a small foal that was wandering towards his direction...

Orphee bolted away from the tree, giggling, as a squirrel chattered angrily at him. Smiling to himself, and taking one glance back at the angry squirrel, he looked forward and around once more, seeing what else his inquisitive little self could get into. Glancing to his left, he saw something that excited him: a patch of flowers~! How could there still be flowers in the crisp weather of autumn? This close to winter? Happily, he trotted over and thrust his nose in the flowers, inhaling their scent deeply.

Tsong flew out of the flower right when a little black colt managed to stick his nose into his resting place. He flew onto the little one's nose and looked him straight in the eyes.
"What do you think you're doing," Tsong asked him, greatly annoyed. "I was there resting when you poked your head in!"
He sighed and wished the younger generations would respect flowers more. He knew that Flutter foals would know from birth how to treat them, but others... not so nice. It was the last batch before winter! Tsong wanted to preserve them as long as he could, but with this foal, he might not be able to!

He blinked as something landed on his nose, and he tried his best to look at it, his rump plopping back on the ground behind him. "I'm sniffing the flowers." He admitted truthfully. He didn't mean any harm to anything, he just got excited, then he looked at the creature again and tilted his head slightly, "What are you?"

Tsong forgot that not everyone knew what he was. He flew off the little colt's nose and then transformed back into his full size; he was smaller than most stallions, but still bigger than a colt. Flexing his wings a little bit to help them get used to being big again, he spoke to the colt.
"My name is Tsong, and I am a Flutter Soquili." He sighed, knowing that he probably over-reacted with the little one. "Sorry if I scared you or anything. That surely was not my intention."
He looked down at the little flowers, making sure he was not stepping on any. "My kind likes to flutter amongst the flowers in our smaller form." Tsong grinned. "It's also easier to get away from trouble in the smaller form."

Orphee shook and stood back up, smiling, his short tail flicking, as if wagging. "I just saw the pretty flowers and wanted to smell them. And how do you get small? Why do you like flowers so much? Are you like a bee? Are you addicted to pollen? Arthur says not to get addicted to things." The little foal blinked up at the orange flutter, peering around at his wings, blinking at them, then blinking again.

When Tsong heard all the questions spew out of the little one's mouth, he was kind of flabbergasted. Why do kids always have so many questions, he thought to himself.
"Hm.. I don't really know how to describe to you how I can become small. I guess the only way is to say that I am born with the ability in my blood." He then bent down to the little one's eye level. "And about flowers, normally they're the most peaceful place that I can find with something delightful to smell in the air."
Tsong stood up tall again and looked at the kid with one eye smaller than the other, wondering if he had parents or something to teach him things. "To the rest of your questions, no. Now may I ask you a few? For one... What is your name?"

"My name's Orphee~!" He was so proud of his name. He pranced a little in the spot and giggled. "I named myself~!" In fact, the thing he was most proud about was his name, another foal made fun of it once and he ran away crying. He just hoped this Soq didn't think his name funny.
"I think the flowers are very pretty, and I didn't know that they could grow in this weather, and I got excited and wanted to smell them." Believing that to be a good enough explaination to his actions, he beamed up at Tsong.
