TONIGHT it's DARKER SKIES VERSUS GARGANTUAN METAL! VS.He waited a bit for the cheering to die down. "ALL RIGHT THEN LETS GET THE RULES SET UP!"

Both band members have been requested to take residence on the opposite side of the stage, the stage itself being only a few bodylengths of width apart.
"ALL RIGHT BOTH BAND MEMBERS. It is your goal to ROCK EACH OTHERS WORLDS OUT. Show us what you got, and make your moves! The band left standing is the WINNER and will go the semi-finals!" OOC RULES- EACH BAND MEMBER MUST MAKE A POST WITHIN 24 HOURS UNTIL THE EVENT IS OVER - Failure for a member to make a post within 24 hours of each "battle turn" will result in them forfeiting their turn - IF YOU HAVE A GNOME as a member you may roll for them! - Please CLEARLY FOLLOW THE HOW TO BATTLE RULES below to see how this works! - The team that goes to 0 HP first loses! The other team will progress to the semi-finals (this is a rather joking event so please don't take this TOO seriously if you lose ) - DONT FORGET TO CHECK THE OLD CRYPT ROCKOUT for your TEAM's HP VALUES - This battle is TEAM VERSUS TEAM, with each member posting individually with their attack HOW TO BATTLE exclaim THIS IS A TEAM TURN BASED BATTLE exclaim 1) EACH TEAM MEMBER OF THE TEAM MUST MAKE A POST DEPENDING ON THEIR ROLE. Please read further to see what kind of post you will be making with what "weapon": THE SINGER SKELLYPHONE: Yell into the skellyphone and send out a blast of sound! ACTION POST: ROLL 2 6-sided dice. Subtract 6 from your amount. For example: I roll a 5 and a 6. 5+6= 11. 11-6 = 5. I do 5 damage THE GUITARIST GUITAR: Run into the air and BASH your opponent (icly choose any one from the opposing team) with your GUITAR! ACTION POST: ROLL 2 6-sided dice. Subtract 4 from your amount. If your result is 0 OR negative, your guitar breaks instead, and you will have to spend the rest of your battle on the sidelines cheering on your teammates. For example: I roll a 4 and a 2. 6(my total damage) -4 = I do 2 damageExample 2: I roll a 2 and a 2. 4(my total damage) -4 =0. My guitar breaks THE DRUMMER DRUM SET: Throw your drumsticks at your opponent (and if you run out of sticks start with the cymbals...) They are known to rebound though... ACTION POST: ROLL 2 8-sided dice. The first roll is the damage you do to your opponent, the second is the damage you do to your own team. For example: I roll a 7 and a 2. I do 7 damage to my opponent and 2 damage to myself. 2) AFTER YOU ROLL your action post, make sure to EDIT in that post with a proper rollplayed action! For example: I AM A DRUMMER. I rolled a 7 and a 8. I can now rp doing the damage and possibly hitting myself with a drumstick or something from taking the damage. EXAMPLE OF ANY TEAM MEMBER POST **ROLL YOUR FREAKING DICE FIRST DEPENDING ON YOUR ROLL*** Let's say for this example, Bob is a DRUMMER and rolled a 8 and a 7. (this is edited in later AFTER your roll and damage tally!) Bob smashes his opponent, Joe, hard with the cymbals but hits himself! Bob's damage to HIS OPPONENT'S TEAM: 8 damage! Bob's TEAM'S TOTAL HP: (Please check the most RECENT post regarding your team's HP and tally in the result of yours). 42 - 7 = 35 HP 3) MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE ABOVE POST to make sure that you have subtracted ALL the opponent's damage done to your team's TOTAL HP. All groups must attack in threesExample: ** TEAM A'S TURN ** Team A band member 1 attacks Team A band member 2 attacks Team A band member 3 attacks! ** TEAM A'S TURN IS NOW OVER** **TEAM B'S TURN** Team B band member 1 attacks Team B band member 2 attacks Team B band mbmer 3 attacks ** TEAM B'S TURN IS NOW OVER** ** TEAM A'S TURN ** Team A band member 1 attacks Team A band member 2 attacks Team A band member 3 attacks! ** TEAM A'S TURN IS NOW OVER** If a member does not attack in their turn allottment in 24 hours, a mod will come in and force a skipped turn for that sole player. Lucien made a strange face as he looked around at the "band battle", before he grabbed hold of the skellyphone and yelled "a sunny day!" into it. It didn't seem to do anything to the opposing team, perhaps they loved sunny days? It was a shame there were no vampires on that team.

It was like electricity in the air, standing in front of all these people cheering as loudly as they could, the sound verberated through his furred ears. He wasn't sure what they meant by using his instrument against the others, so when he picked it up, he awkwardly tried to do whatever damage he could to the others, feeling horrible about swinging such a wonderful instrument around . . .
. . . only to feel the crush of the poor thing against something unfortunate in the way. What a waste of a guitar, and a waste of a turn. . . Now what would he do.

Daisuke watched as his teammates turns failed and they did no damage to their opponents, however it wasn't nearly as bad as his attack! He had thrown the drumsticks which had missed terribly by a distance he had to wince at to only see them bounce back at his team like possessed objects. Yeah, that wasn't earning him any good looks from his team, this time.

Gargantuan didn't understand what was going on. There were people screaming, there were bright lights--and they were fighting?! G wanted to crawl into the nearest swamp and hide there, but he couldn't let Malodore and Kasumi down! With a hand covering his face, he swung a cymbal out at the opposing band, whining something that suspiciously sounded like "G sorry!".
Unfortunately, he tripped and smashed into his own drum set, which earned a pathetic sounding moan of pain from the beast. Ow. Maybe he'd at least managed to hit someone...?

Everything had happened so fast; Malodore was still a little dazed by it all. Especially now that they weren't actually having another concert... but an actual battle!
At least the plague doctor already had guitar-smashing experience, though this method of battle was so... pedestrian. Malodore winced as G went down in the middle of his own drum set, though at least the swamp monster had managed to wing someone with a cymbal at the same time.
Taking a deep breath, Malodore shouldered its guitar. "For, ah... for metal...?" it announced, aiming at Darker Skies' guitarist, and hoping its own instrument wouldn't smash like his had.
WHAM!
The reverberations of the strike made the guitar hard to hold onto, but Malodore managed it. Not a scratch!
On the guitar, anyway.

Oh dear. Hmm. This was... interesting... She saw how her team mates were going all out... in the name of METAL. Kasumi steeled herself and stepped up to the microphone to try her hand (or voice) at all this, wondering if anyone else might get caught up in the collateral damage. Taking in a deep breath, she let loose the best grungy wail she could, aiming where her team members were.
Whew! Not much but... it was a start! She was just getting warmed up!

Lucien grunted as not only did one of Daisuke's drumsticks ricochet off of the other team and hit him but the other team was giving them a run for their pumpkin seeds! Lucien leaned into the skellyphone again and gave a good holler. He just couldn't use his voice as a weapon. It must be just too nice to hurt someone! Slowly, Lucien turned to Jack who couldn't do anything else anymore and then finally to Daisuke. He was hoping he'd do better than him... and not hit him again.

Well this was a predicament. Leaning back onto the side so that his team could take over the vocals and drumming, Jack secretly mourned the death of his guitar that he was promised during the event, his fingers itching to play some rifts or something.
Such was life. Tapping his foot, his tail swayed to the beat, as he watched his band do what they could do to make up for this slip up. Admittedly, teh other guitarist was doing a remarkable job - he was impressed, even if it rang through his ears loudly.

This time, after seeing the aftermath of the other team, decided to use the symbols and toss them like a Frisbee over at them, it worked better than last time, which caused Daisuke to grin and give Lucien a thumbs up, until... It came flying back and he had to dive out of the way. "Watch out!" He stammered, peering over the drum kit at his fellow teammate that was left standing.

Ack! The sound of the guitars smashing was enough to make the swamp beast hunch his shoulders unhappily, and Kasumi's wail was enough to make him shiver! He got clocked in the head by a cymbal too, and the urge to sit down and blubber was very overwhelming. That had hurt! And he didn't want to fight anymore.
With a half-roar, half-wail, the beast picked up half his drumset and simply threw it at the other team, beginning to throw something of a temper tantrum. Of course, then he stepped on one of the sharp fragments of Jack's guitar and hurt his foot, and eventually just sat down with a sniffle.
Being in a band wasn't fun anymore!

Oh dear - G looked like he was about to cry. Malodore took a deep breath and tightened its grip on the neck of its guitar, making the strings squeal in a highly irritating fashion. "Courage," it shouted, in G's direction, then hefted the guitar once more!
WHAM!
The strike jarred Malodore to the bone, and the guitar creaked alarmingly, but... it held, thank Jack! It didn't seem as good a hit as the previous one, but at least the guitar wasn't broken like the other band's was.

A gnome looked at Jack disgruntledly, dragging a rather heavy guitar behind it - wait was that even made out of wood, are you sure that thing is safe? Nonetheless he seems to be offering it at Jack. Maybe. exclaim GM ACTION POST: JACK IS GRANTED ANOTHER GUITAR. He can choose to continue attacking again (on his next respective team's turn)
