online homeschooling that is.
Theres a great program thats offered free in my district, and Im seriously considering taking that opportunity for high school.
Things I like about school
-meeting with friends
-electives
advantages
-plenty of social opportunities
-fun projects
-friends
disadvantages
-plenty of social opportunities
-not so friendly friends
-working in groups
advantages of online school
-no stupid groups
-no distractions
-more time to work
-saves paper biggrin
-no chance to be made fun of
-no peer pressure
disadvantages
-no electives (like choir or art or theater)
I've already met a lot of people, so I don't really need the social opportunity 4 or 5 live real close too, plus my mom is getting seriously sick, and I don't want her getting hurt while Im at school. Next year I go to high school, the world of the un known. Lots of projects lots of homework, lots of fun events that take me away from watching over her. If I did online school, I would still learn just as much, even faster, wouldn't have to wait for the slow ids to catch up, wouldn't have a*****e boys making fun of me, wouldn't have the pressure of being smart, and I could wear pjs, NO DRESS CODE!!!! I don't see much of a downside, choir never was that interesting, i dont want to be a singer, art wasnt for me, I suck at drawing and I never could do well on stage. Do you think I should consider this further, or just drop it all together for classic school?

Well...if it's a good fit for you.
I wouldn't because I can't stand being inside for that long. =/
Plus my parents aren't home all day and I'd be horribly lonely. ;3;
And, you know, no sports or high school band (more fun!) lol...
But uhhh, that's just me.
