Ars Falcis
--All Welcome--

A place of suffering, salvation and dark secrets. The point between hell and earth, where the Arcane Sciences are a continoued and a growing practice. Here roams the souls of the enternal condemed. By their choice, or not, they will stay here. Most of the halls and chambers are filled with groans, moans, and the stench of rotting flesh of the tortured. Others are quieter then a cemetary; and all throughout this world is filled with the ancient gaurdians that hold its secrets. Many levels are actually pleasent like a quite forest or snow covered plain, tranquil and able to bring peace to mind and soul.

Any whom die, either by their own hands, or by anothers. They will appear here for their final judgment depending on the life they lived, and served too.

------------------------------------------

The Grim Reaper, King of Necromacy and long withheld secrets, can be found here. Inside his home of solitude. Any who are brave enough can come to ask him what knowledge and dark arts they want to learn, or know.

At the entrance is a long bridge, its width unmeasurable, that reaches towards a towering door. You're first test is to make it across this bridge. It will become thinner the farther you walk across depending on your misdeeds. The daughter of the Reaper waits here for any that wish to pass. Only she or someone else authorized by her, or the Reaper can open these gates. She'll guide them through, or answer their questions, but when it comes to her watching out for your safety while you travel through these passages... don't count on her helping.

When she is not around a watchman waits here opening the doors for any who wish to enter or explore the forbidden realm. Keep in mind this place has rules, be careful not to break them. And the creatures here are merciless and constantly wandering.

She stood tall at the front of the gate. Waiting for any new arrivals that would be coming soon. She placed her scyth infront, leaning on it with her forearms, staring off into the empty void that seemed to surround the entrance way.

She cocks an eyebrow at the man, leaning with both arms on her scyth. "Heh. You are going to have to elabirate on who 'he' is. But, I'm taking a guess that it is my Father you wish to see?" She stands straight leaving her perch, on the rock, walking down to him with a smirk. "Shall we go then?" Turning about her scyth held tightly in her hand, making a sweeping motion with it the doors open into the infinate darkness thats beyond it.

Alanna walked in and out of the shadow and lighted path towards the gate. It was a mixture of light and dark here. More of a gray that covered the area, letting you see but at the same time it was dark. She finished her usual tasks before entering the through the gate. All that was needed now was for her guest to arrive.

Mercina had flown there and eventually found her way with the help of Knol's directions. The wolf kept up with her and was running behind on the ground. She had landed infront of Alanna and the wolf was right behind her. "Good day, Miss Alanna. I have come like you requested." She let the dragon down on the ground so he could go to Alanna.

Knol trotted past her as she walked up to Mercina greeting her with a friendly hug. "Nice of you to come. I hate to put you through the trouble, but while war above is going on. The underworld will be occupied with the anticipation of new deaths... It will make it easier to get around." She reached into her pocket drawing out a pendent, and handing it to Mercina to wear. "It is mandatory to wear that. In case we get lost or you come face to face with an Icip. They are foul creatures that even my father avoids. So, lets get going!" She turned with a spring in her step leading them all towards the waiting doors. Raising her hands into the air the doors suddenly creaked open, just enough for them all to walk through easily. Once all gathered inside the doors shut themselves leaving them to be greated by a musky smell. "Just ignore the smell for now. You will get used to it soon."

Mercina put the pendant on as they all, including the giant black wolf, went in through the gates. Her nose wrinkled at the smell. She was all too familiar with it. The smell of death. Aliator's castle grounds smelt like it as well. "I'll ignore it as much as I can until I get used to it." She looked about at the surroundings. "So what is the enchantment of this pendant?"

Alanna stared straight ahead keeping most of her attention on the path, while still answering Mercina back. "It carries a rare residue from a long passed on creature that sublimated. It keeps Icips and lesser creatures at bay. Also, it will protect your life force for those who are not Necromancers or dead." The reached a fork in the road. Alanna paushed a few moments before choosing the left path and heading down a cavern of stairs. Thier entire walk they were surrounded by flickering blue lights; formless souls. "Mercina, did Knol tell you why I asked you to come?"

"Yes. He did. Said it was concerning the artifact you were searching for me. The one I told you I'd trade the Soul Javalin for." Mercina looked ahead and kept following Alanna. Kuromaru following close behind and looking along the path and keeping a safe eye for the creatures Alanna mentioned.

"Yes! I found the witches souls, but they would not listen to me. They said they would only listen to one who is from thier lineage. Which, I figured to maybe be you." A boat waited at a small dock at the bottom. The cave stairwell turned into a giant open space, what seemed to be an ocean expanded before them. There was more light here and a crooked shaped moon hung in the air. It seemed to be moving, but maybe that was just thier eyes. "All aboard!" She called, getting into the boat. It was rather large and could accomidate all of them, each with thier own seat, while Alanna stook the posistion of steering the boat from behind.

Mercina nodded at her words. "I would guess as much. Even in death, witches don't give much information." She followed her and they eventually reached the boat. Mercina had taken a seat near the back near Alanna and Kuromaru stepped onto the boat as gently as he could. Due to hs great size, he didn't want to rock the boat too much. Soon, he was seated on his hind legs.

It was not before long they reached a rather large island far off from the coast. They piled out and onto the soft ground. The smell of salt and spice hung in the air, while the crooked moon shinned down casting distorted shadows. They walked along a small path until they came face to face with the witches. 5 of them sat around, each at a point like making the symbol of a star. Small formless orbs floated around them, likely the witches that were not able to keep a form due to thier strenght and will. "Thats them.." she stated pointing to the witches that bickered amongst themselves.

Mercina looked at them. The ones who kept their shapes were dressed in the robes of the ancients. She waved her hands over her body and she was then dressed in long black robes that drug on the ground. There was a blue velvet sash around her waise and tied in the back. Her hair was then in a half-ponytail and the brown curls could be seen. Her shoes were black heels, but couldn't be seen because the robes covered them. She then walked slowly over to the five who could maintain their shape. All the witches had black wings and various different hair colors among them. There were seven soul orbs. Only 12 and a witch's coven has 13. Where was the thirteenth, one could wonder. The male at the head of the table stood up upon seeing her and looked at her through squinted eyes. "Ariaza..." was all the ghost mumbled upon seeing Mercina. Mercina just raised an eyebrow and looked back at the man, noting the other witches with forms looked her way with wide eyes. "I'm presuming you mean my first life. Now I am Mercina."

Alanna stood silently watching and listening from behind, not completely sure if the witches saw her or not. Ariaza... a name foreign to her and seemed to be to Mercina though, was one of her old names. "I wonder how many past lives Mercina has had."
