Clothing
Anything that is comfortable and easy to move in. Does wear leather armour on occasion. Nothing too eye catching or bright.
Standard gear is: trousers (wool, leather or flax) usually stuffed into flat-heeled knee-long boots. A simple white flax/wool shirt, chest bandages in substitute for a bra or corset. Leather or suede jacket. Leather bracer on her left hand is a must, and sometimes a small archer glove on her right (little leather protections for your index and middle fingers, strapped around your wrist). Colours vary. Usually in many shades of brown, green, white, black.
Weaponry and skills
Kasia has had a passion for archery ever since her early days, which isn't all that surprising. Her family had a long line of hunters and skilled bowmen, the most recent one being her father. So a bow is her weapon of choice. She does however know how to and is moderately good at using daggers, knives and shortswords. All of which she learned when she was in a gang a few years back.
Even though Kasia is fairly small and female, she is known to have knocked some sense into the opposite sex. Quite literally in fact. Her small physique is usually an advantage when it comes to brawls. Quick and nimble on her feet, she takes her opponents by surprise. Probably uses her fists more than her bow, especially on your everyday crude, boorish villagers.
Short bio
Kasia was the younger daughter in her family. Her father was a hunter, and her mother was your average house-wife. Kasia's childhood was mostly uneventful. She played with the other village kids, was in constant fights with both girls and boys, because they teased and called her names. Mostly 'ginger' or 'freckles'. Life wasn't too bad, all until her father died in a hunting accident, killed by a wild boar. Kasia was twelve at the time.
Soon after her father died, their family got into debt. Kasia's mother got into prostitution, which led to having men of all sorts around their home. Most of which would usually beat up her mother, and would sometimes grope Kasia and her older sister among other things. Until one time, the little ginger girl had enough. She beat up one of the men near to death with a shovel, grabbed her things and ran away from her home. She hid in the woods for a good few weeks, until purely by accident, she ran into a member of a local gang who was separated from the rest of the group at the time. Soon enough, Kasia joined up with the rest of them, and wrecked havoc in the local villages. Several years after, some bounty hunters finally got their hands on many of the gang members. Kasia, and two others were lucky enough to lose them off their tails. Changing hideouts, and fouling their trail, the few living members of the former gang hid for over half a year, until a total amnesty in the kingdom was announced. Kasia has been working as a freelance hunter ever since, getting into adventures of her own, as she is still hunted by some old enemies.
