Sema had heard a day where you didn't want to do anything was called 'just one of those days'. Every day was 'just one of those days' for him, apparently. On 'those days' he slept, late into the morning and long into the night. Only the chiding of his parental or authority figures roused him with one other exception: hunger.

Thanks to hunger, he was up at the agonizing crack of dawn. The simple act of standing was treated like some Olympic-worthy spectator sport. His chubby paws planted themselves on the ground and he staggered up, heaving a sigh that was almost as heavy as he was.

Had he known what awaited him outside his beloved den, he would have let his stomach go without. But, he was utterly clueless of the peppy lioness that he would encounter just as soon as he stepped paw outside.

The early morning lioness was off from the protection of her adopted mother, the goddess of confusion and for some reason. Her brother had been following her- God of Fustration - but today.. she must have woke up to early for him to follow and that made her slighty at ease. Since she hated him being so frustrated and ached to help him so the burden wasn't weighed today.

Bouncing about in the sands as to catch up to the sun rising~ and once her favorite sand hill came in to view she wisped by and slided to reach it in time. When she did- while the dens were at her back.. the sun rose.. and every day she would wake to see it and every day she would still look in awe.. the Gods were magnificent. Like her mother and second father.. Looking on, the god of the sun must have a tedious job of raising and falling the sun..

Though even if she retained most of herself, she did find herself more happy, playful and as if she would stay a child forever. Youthful. Ears went back as she gave a soft sigh.. Her tail padding each side.. "Ah.. good morning." She said softly.. being absorbed in it.. as she padded forward and once at the edge- she jumped! What was she doing!? Though she had jewels and her mother's feathers she knew they would be ok- her sister taught her it! Tumbling in a big ball of sand..falling like oceans around her til she landed at the foot of a temple. Laughing happily and angelicly.. Her tail padding.

"Breakfast~" She chirped.. still laying on her back and looking across at the sands that seemed endless. "So.. snake... mouse.." Pondering the thought on breakfast and what she could bring home before her god family left to their duties.

Sema didn't have a bad habit of forgetting names; he had a bad habit of never learning them to begin with. The lioness that sat sun gazing with a level of admiration he could never have mustered for anything - his mother aside - was familiar enough in appearance. He was certain he recognized that neutral coat clashing with those vibrant, colorful markings, but her name... What was her name again?

He didn't plan to ask, but had he, there wouldn't have been enough time. She hurled herself into the sands, and at first, he found himself horror-struck by her bravery. Or stupidity. Possibly both.

A breath held in his broad chest for as long as it took him to reach where she had been and peer over. She was by the temple, perfectly fine - laughing, no less.

The air expelled from his lungs and the dread from his heart.

Suddenly, that sickening feeling wasn't to be blamed on hunger. His appetite had temporarily subsided, so he sat where he'd once stood and just watched her for lack of anything better to do. She was entertaining in the way a cub would be, though obviously she was much older than that. Probably around his age, in fact.

The flow of the sands curling and poking at her paws as she slowly went forward- until her ears caught the sound. Her nose filled with someone else other than her family, so she turned from which she jumped to see a male. A huge like male whom looked around her age. Like her brothers. She tilted her head... and backed away a few to full see him on the hill.

"Hello there!" She called out to him with a ginger sorta smile.

Then quickly trotted up to the foot of the hill once more. But didn't go up, no, she stayed at the bottom as she perfectly looked up with a soft smile.. her tail padding. "Are you hunting for breakfast?" That face full of innocence, as if nothing could rupture that kindness if it weren't for just a little romance that would scar her from friends. No.. even if she had been hurt in the past.. she found it only fitting to always smile.. no matter what.
