Fanta: You could have had pups directly, Tera. You should have. >>
Tera: How would I do that without a fling? Its against what we believe. -smiles and nuzzles her brother-
Fanta: You could have reproduced with that singer instead of Willow. *stubborn on this despite the affection* Then they would have been true blood to your position.
Tera: Its not completely out of the cards, dear brother. Willow has talked to me about maybe producing the next litter. I might take her up on it..It would be nice to have more roses in the pack.
Fanta: *nods* Good. *The issue settled, he realized a little more with his sister, thought he still seemed tight-jawed about something* I have not been at ease lately, sister. The wind and weather grow dark and cold. The wall may not be as up to strength as it should be.
Tera: We are safe amongst our thorns. I have faith in us, our pack, and our safety. We will do what it takes to make sure everything is up to par. -smiles to reassure her brother.- You know.. on a lighter note.. When do YOU plan on giving me nieces and nephews?
Fanta: *is still stuck on the wall, their main defense, looking cross towards the entrance of their den* Faith might not be enough. Something ill is on the wind, and it is not the chill of winter . . . It niggles into my mind while I sleep, but I cannot give it a name.
Tera: -looks a bit serious- How do we defend against what we dont know is coming? What more can we do but have faith and just work harder before the winter months? We have to have faith.. We have to stay strong
Fanta: We can prepare. We can train. *looks to her* Willow's children are of age. They must begin to choose their tasks for the upkeep of this pack. Have any of them voiced preferences?
Tera: -thinks on it and sighs- Sadly I have not been apart of that..I live in my own world you know. -thinks again- I know that Dawnie wanted to help with the roses. I think it would be quite a good job for her, and a good defense.
Fanta: *nods* That is a start . . . I suggest you meet with the others and begin to plan for their futures. *And now that he thought about it, one of the warriors had just fathered five more pups; perhaps too young to prod just yet, but merely ideas to begin them shaping their destinies in the Order . . . As per usual, the male grew quiet and had a furrowed brow as he thought and thought - eventually his face would be stuck in such an expression!*
Tera: -nuzzles her brother. She was really the only one that he was that close with, besides mother, father, and Yensid. But the two had a stronger bond than most siblings as they ran a pack and watched over a pack that relied on them for protection.- Did you hear, that the newcomer Warrick and his female, had pups? Four were little girls, which will be good for the reproducing of the pack. Good numbers. Theyre lovely and I think that we should maybe try for them to help with the roses as well..After all, we need a large wall, and lots of paws to do so.
Fanta: *nods again* 'Twas what I was thinking. Though . . . *sighs, losing some of the seriousness again as he rests a little against her* I have little of the gentleness to use on pups that you have in such vast quantities.
Tera: But that is why we are so good together, brother. You have what I do not.. a serious face. The ability to say no. You know Im a softie, but we still work together. Id..Id love to see you produce heirs. Why should my litters be the sole heirs? I was thinking..When the time comes, Id like one of yours and one of mine to lead. So you must get a move on. -winks though she knows theyre still young-
Fanta: Must I? *It was a legitimate question out of curiosity. Not that heirs hadn't crossed his mind before, but the worry about that nameless presence had clouded his mind as of late. But if he could not defend his own pack against whatever might come (as he was sure there was something, there had to be!), having children would further add to his weaknesses . . .*
Tera: Why wouldnt you? I know that you are a strong, loving male.. You have a heart of gold, whether or not you think so. You arent weak. You are my brother. I love you, and I want you to be happy..I cant express the joy, that puppies would give you. Even if you didnt want them to give you joy.
Fanta: ... Eventually, Tera. Eventually. I want them to come during a time when I am not as unsure as I am right now of what is going on outside our borders. I need to . . . We need to have scouts.
Tera: If you like, I could help try and see if I could convince others in the pack to take the position. I know of a few who would like that, and some of my girls would too I imagine. Females could be best suited for that as well, being little, and easier to hide.
Fanta: *nods* Whoever is willing and able to keep a light pace. Those that wish to tend to the roses or be part of the guard need to seek Clementine and his doe. I may have to rally my marshall to be the captain for now until we have more warriors.
Tera: I will also ask Tigerlily to keep a weathered eye..-says of her bear that she had quite a good relationship with.- I trust her more than most, and I know that she would be able to overtke anyone, even if they messed with her.
Fanta: Of that I have no doubt. *For a moment he closes his eyes and presses his face against Tera's fur, intensely glad his family was with him here during these times. Then pulls back and opens his eyes again* Thank you, sister. I could not ask for a better Grand Mistress at my side.
Tera: Why of course. Who else would make sure you didnt take life too seriously? -she chuckles, and lets him lean into her. She give a sigh and smiles.- Youll always have me brother. No need to thank me.
Fanta: *breaks into a rare smile* Come, the moon is already at its peak. We will need all the sleep we can gather for these coming days.
Tera: -stands- Lets go then. Being tired is no good on either of us. In the morning, I shall organize our scouts.
Fanta: I will speak to our resident warriors and Clementine about incoming recruits, as well as meet with Chantilly. *stands and leads them back to their den, a great yawn escaping him*
