It was getting colder out, and the colder it got the worse her job got. It was well known that Senshi, even the corrupted kind; where not at all blessed with warm clothing. So it was with much irritation that Hel lounged on a rooftop watching the stars as she waited for someone to happen by.
The cold didn't help when it came to hunting starseeds either, less people on the street to snap up.
"I should have gone to those Halloween parties..."

"No...you shouldn't." Came a perhaps unexpected reply from behind her, quiet tred over the tarpaper roof as he walked closer to her. His uniform had changed, familiar and yet not, the coat was as long as ever but now closed more completely in the front. The 'ninja mask' and goggles were certainly new as well, but the stature and cool expression were the same as when they had last met. "You wait till they let out, and they tag a few drunks as they drift away from the group. Hitting the actual party causes too much panic, too many witnesses and too much risk of injury." He exhaled, a cloud of vapor turning white as it escaped the black cloth of his coat and he sighed glancing her over before undoing the buttons of his coat and tugging it free of the chain belt. "Here.."

Slowly she leaned back tilting her head with a grin, her hood slowly falling back to reveal her smirk. "Well planned actually, but in this case I was actually debating going to the party to enjoy rather then doing my job. I could always do the later afterwards like you suggest." She paused for a moment looking closely at him, "Someone got a new coat, it's nice." Standing up she walked over her face showing just a hint of color as he offered the jacket. "You know for someone who didn't seem to like me so much, you're far too nice to me."
"So what brings you up here in such nice new digs?"

"I am -polite-... it has nothing to do with how I feel about you personally, so long as you do your own job in a professional manner I won't grind you under my heel for personal irritation over gossip." He said and folded his arms over his chest trying to keep warm and look more professional than...well....cold. "Nothing much, I'm patrolling to find good areas to take my new team... yourself?" He froze for a moment realizing that he had left -something- in his coat pocket but quickly covered with. "Also... politeness aside keep your hands out of the pockets, we don't want to be choking on my smoke pellets...use the sleeves if your hands are cold.

"Well either way it's nice, even if you do so with a frown on your face the whole time." She shrugged slowly and held her hands out to him, "I always go out, I collect seeds and thus far have avoided causing much trouble for myself or the negaverse I'd say I'm doing fine."
She sighed softly, "I still haven't been placed yet persay... Ursula dropped off the face of the earth for me so I'm stuck dealing with Rho and frankly I feel like I've been brushed to the side like some low Lieutenant..."
Her hands froze midair, ready to find shelter in the warm pockets, her eyebrow raised ever so slightly but for now she listened. Instead she crossed her arms as well holding her hands inside the coat against herself. "If you insist."
Turning her back to him she looked out to the city. "I don't mean to pry, but after the Coma... you did mention you might have had someone in the hospital. Are they okay?"

"They are..." he nodded and looked thoughtful. "While I will point out that you at best -rank- with a 'lowly lieutenant', I will say I will put in a word for you with a team. In fact I think you might suit them well... " He nodded considering and made a mental note to tell Dem about Hel and her search for a team. Better yet he still had her number from the last time they had met.

Glancing back again she offered a small smile, "Good, you seemed miserable that day, more so then now." Her smile grew a bit wider at the slight jest. "The difference between me and a lieutenant is the magic. I can teleport, they can't. They have a youma to support them in a pinch, I don't need one... though I wouldn't mind one to ride around into battle, it would be pretty awesome to have a big bad wolf one..."
She turned in full tilting her head curiously, "You would do that? You actually know someone still looking? Who?"

"You are heavy artillery 'Hel', that doesn't make you part of the regiment... But if anyone will treat you like you are it will be Scheelite." He said with a curt nod. "I'll let him know you're looking and he can put in a request for you. You can keep in touch with me if you -absolutely- need something as well." He said with heavy emphasis on the 'absolutely'. "Though I will warn you that Scheelite and I know each other well so how direct you chose to be... i leave to you."
A big hint, don't waste my time with trivial things like 'he's playing guitar hero on my head' or... 'dear lord when he's angry I expect him to throw cars.'.

"I do enjoy that description, heavy artillery, and so what does that make you, clearly not a lieutenant now, so you must be a Capatin. Will you be giving me orders to fire anytime soon? Rough up a few senshi?"
Slipping her hands outside the coat she held both in plain sight, "Promise not to use the number unless I really need to, 'scouts' honor. As for Scheelite, what do you mean about direct... is that open permission to give him the same teasing I give you?"
Even as she spoke she had a slight smile, she liked teasing Zink, he was a good guy and took it in stride while making some of the best faces about it.

His eyes narrowed and he ducked his chin in a very short sort of 'librarian scowls at you over a book' kind of manner. "Whatever risks you choose to take with your potential new Captain, are your own choices to make. I will not dive in and save you if you take a loaded guitar to the face...which, by the way it's electric, do take that to heart, because I do NOT mean it needs to be plugged in." He flashed her a only vaguely authentic smile which may have in fact been because he was imagining her getting a good shock from it...
Not that he had that kind of mean streak, at all.

Hel in turn put on her best face of shame and embarrassment at the librarian scowl, really it was just her rolling her eyes and trying not to laugh at the look Zink was giving her. "Alright, I'll take your advice and avoid his dreaded electric guitar. And is that, why yes I do believe I can see a smile I won't even ask why you would be smiling... let alone if it's real. Probably best for my health."
Mean streak or not, authentic or not, he was one of the few 'friends' she had since her change in life after corruption and she enjoyed the back and forth.
"Hey, speaking of the last time and so forth, I owe you dinner. You took me out last time so it's my turn to treat." She smiled again, "Call it a dinner to celebrate my chance at a team and your nice new jacket yea?"

"Now?" he demanded taken aback. "Now in uniform...we're not going -anywhere- in uniform. If you want to 'pay me back' for dinner we're both getting into civilian clothes and acting like very NORMAL people..." He folded his arms and then added.
"Normal people whom are on speaking terms, and are certainly not on a -date-, would you care to reconsider the offer or continue planning?"

Hel rolled her eyes as she slipped the jacket off her shoulders passing it back towards Zink as he continued to speak. "Of course as civilians do you honestly think I would be that stupid?" Even as he laid out the terms to the deal she was making her way over to the edge. "Yes, normal people on speaking terms, preferably the kinda that are friends? Now before we power down lets get down onto the street. I think we can both agree that jumping while powered up will be more pleasing then as civilians?"

Taking the coat from her, he turned away for a brief moment as he shifted just for a second back to his civilian clothes and then into his Captain's garb again, the chain once again hanging neatly over the coat when he turned back to face her.
"There is... a fire escape, they are more prolific than I believe people who ENJOY jumping off buildings like to admit, however since I know this one squeaks and shakes like it would readily deposit its contents in a rusty scrap pile on the pavement bellow... after you." He gave a small bow and swept his hand for her to go first. He had NO interest in reaching the ground before her and risk being accused of looking up her skirts.

She frowned for a moment, watching him take only a moment to shift between his two forms, what was the point? She wasn't quite sure why he did so she simply ignored it for now standing at the edge of the roof.
"I don't much like them period, your stuck in a tiny narrow metal grid where anyone could see you or attack. And you have a very valid point about this one being very rusty noisy thing." Chuckling softly she waved him goodbye and took a leap off the edge hopping briefly off a balcony rail before touching down with a dull thump and click of her heels and a shower of falling ash. "All's clear Zink, hurry down so we can change? Also what was with that little split switch? Trying to hide something are you?"
