Kurikaiza took slow strides through the other side of the field, where a second entry was present. He seemed to be coughing, yet swallowing tablets, and taking large gulps of his medicine before the match began. All this would stop his ability from catching up with him the whole fight. Once he was in the center of the field, he stood a few meters from his opponent. Getting a good look at him, his eyes widened in disbelief. Turning to wherever the judges would be present, he yelled "What's the big idea?! This guy is like a gazillion years older than me!" He said, giving insight that he was only 14. Turning back to his opponent, he' have to live with it, if he wanted to be the best.

Forming the Water Release hand seals, he rose the groundwater under him and his opponent's feet onto surface. Being in connection with the water, he shifted the molecules to compact, freezing them into sheer ice. If his opponent was in contact with the waters, his feet would be wedged in the ice, where he would be forced to be still and not move unless he wished to break his ankles. This attack didn't effect Kurikaiza, he was secretly forcing some chakra to his feet to protect himself as he made a mad dash across the field.

Leaping into the air, He yelled, "Fire Release!" And with those words, he puffed his cheeks, blowing a cone shape of fire from his lips. The flames were going downward, so that if his opponent tried to jump to escape the ice, he'd be scortched. It also went downward for another reason. If his opponent tried to retreat from on the ice, it'd melt it, quickly, for the sheer flame was large in mass and quantity. And the melted water would become a weak steam from the fierce blaze. Steam that could scold his opponent's skin, probably 2nd degree burns were the highest probability.

Landing on a clear patch of grass that he didn't contaiminate with his freezing technique, Kurikaiza waited to see if his opponent had survived.

Kurikaiza was amazed at the state of his opponent. He survived a blaze of that magnitude? And alone with that, he came out with just a scortched arm and burned off sleeve? The blaze did melt most of the ice under his opponent, so this would have his opponent's all exposed skin to be scolded to the 2nd degree. Head, arm, and hands. Kurikaiza parted his lips to reply to the man's comment. "Don't call me kid! I'm gonna be better than everyone one day! You'll soon have to answer to me!".

Kurikaiza watched as his opponent summoned a golem like figure. He knew it had to sting since he had those scolded hands, and fingers. Forcing chakra to those joints, that had to burn. As the puppet came at Kurikaiza, his palms lit up with thick flames. It was another Flame Release technique he was putting in use. As the puppet began to throw a multiple attacks, Kurikaiza took this time to shift the water vapors around the puppet into 6 Water Clones around the puppet, while ducking, leaning, and sidestepping to avoid the puppets attacks. Once the attacks had died down, this left the puppet open. It virtually had no way to go. All of the escape directions were blocked by one of Kurkaiza's clones. Up, sides, front and back. All their palms were lit up as they thrusted their hands forward. This would smash the puppet into pieces, and what ever blade that would be jutted out, would oxidate at a fast rate, for the heat of all the Water Clone's and Kurikaiza's attack was a very hot.

Kurikaiza also prepared to shift his clones back to water vapors if his opponent found a way to dodge, and so he wouldn't be burned by his own attack. So even if his opponent dodged, his clones would revert back to vapors, filling the air as they previously did.
