~::Frozen in Time::~
~::Frozen Tower - 2nd Floor (Anger)::~
The second level of the mysterious Frozen Castle that has replaced the Yasogami School Buildings, those who come here must overcome a trial of mental and physical fortitude in order to escape its dangers and move on to the Final Level of the Frozen Castle.
This floor is stalked by a dangerous guardian whose sole intention seems to be preventing anybody from passing through en route to the top of the tower. Quote: Guardian - Nina Sinclare

Satoru Otonashi Rosealina Miina Ellen Galietsu Sylphie Jecht ] ::Original Character:: Quote: Gaia Avatar: [Mods will do this.] Gaia Name: NPC Quote: Name: Nina Sinclare Nicknames: Ms. Velvet Age: 18 Appearance: School: Yasogami Grade: Senior Homeroom: 3-3 Love Interest: ??? Personality: Intelligent and bookish, Nina was admired by some for having a 'mature' feel about her, but general turns away those who approach her for being unable to capture her interest. Loves history and has a particular interest in Cleopatra, her favorite historical figure. Can be snappish and condescending on a bad day, but her good points show through if you can capture her attention long enough to get to know her. Bio: Nina is a Senior at Yasogami who has always been revered by some as something of a mature figure, whose distant beauty has always held a sort of charm. However things of such a basic nature never really interested her, and growing up she became enamored with books and history in particular, which inspired her to eventually join the Literature Club and become an assistant in the school library. During her time in Yasogami she has had a few suitors, but none of them could capture her interest quite as well as a good book, leading to several blunt rejections...though none of them had any ill intent. She simply didn't understand them, why they were interested in her, and couldn't grasp any interest in any of them at all. Nonetheless she began to gain a rather negative reputation as a result of this, something which she herself pretended not to notice...only she did, and a lingering resentment began to boil insider of her with each glare sent her way and each comment she caught from one of her failed suitors. Even her nickname, 'Ms. Velvet', which had once been meant as something of a compliment on how smoothly she moved and acted, began to be used as an insult...something she would not forget even when much bigger problems began to arise around the school. Satoru Otonashi After a few minutes of the turn of time Toru started to come to, opening his eyes and slowly getting to his feet. "The...Hell?" He paused looking around the area he just woke up in. "Where am I...?" He looked down checking over himself to see if he had all the stuff he remembered. 'sword? check...Evoker? Check alright' Luckily he had all the stuff he really needed to fight, but who he got here, where ever here was. It was still a mystery how he got here, he remember running into Elizabeth and then after a short exchange.. the rest was fuzzy from there until now. Taking a few deep breaths the senior looked around taking in the atmosphere. It was unnaturally cold for the time and just as oppressive feeling as the Dark Hour, at least to him. Everything seemed almost iced over like it was some sort of Nightmare, but well Real.

Sylphie
"Ooh, my head..." Sylphie moaned, clutching the aforementioned part of her body as she slowly woke up. On the whole, she wasn't feeling particularly well, like some sort of bad dream had swept over her and... and... what had happened after that? Hmm... She wasn't entirely sure. "Is anybody else there?" Sylphie called, looking around the area and wishing things were a little warmer. Warm... wait, what!? What was going on here, anyway!? "Minato-senpai! Junpei-senpai! Anybody!?" Calling out may or may not have been the smartest idea, and this seemed to occur to Sylphie after a few moments, as the girl pushed to her feet and put one foot forward, her outfit expoing quite a lot of leg as well as a silvery pistol-like weapon. Have the Evoker ready just in case... right?

 Ellen Galietsu, The Kick-a** Senior 'Huh? What happened...?'
Ellen groaned as she got up rubbing her head, what the heck happened? And why was it so cold? She started to ever-so-slightly shiver and turned her head over her shoulder to see two familiar figures. A friend and someone she has seen from the party. "Sylphie-chan! Toru-kun! What are you guys doing here?!"Feeling relief wash over her as she digested the fact she wasn't alone, quickly getting up she rollerbladed to the two of them (As she had her rollerblades on before she suddeny appeared in the tower) "Does anyone of you know what the hell is going on? I mean, this is totally different from the Dark Hour, like the seasons just changed!"

~::Nina Sinclare::~ "Miss Velvet" (Senior Member of the Yasogami Literature Club and Library Assistant)As those within the 2nd Level of the Frozen Tower began to stir, so too did a distant voice from a source invisible, on the far side of the icy maze of a floor begin to sing out as if to tease the group of students and fighters who had been drawn into her web. Like a spider her voice danced around them, as if to let them know they had been caught inside of her realm now...and that there was no escape save through her game. "Oh ho ho," her laughter was light and airy, but there was no real mirth behind it, "aren't you all precious? Coming all the way here to just to see me...or maybe you came for something else? I'll have to keep my eye on you." As she spoke the empty mirth seemed to drain from her laughter and the chill in the room grew deeper, a wind at their back acting almost like a signal to move into the maze of icy mirrors and towards the true source of her voice. Behind them began to drop heavy shards of ice, icicles of a heavy make and stern constitution that it would be pointless to try and destroy...each would simply shatter into smaller, sharper shards and pierce an even greater area of the ground. The icicles began to grow closer to the group, as if chasing them through the maze of icy mirrors in hopes of capturing them beneath their razor-sharp points...the first trap in the Second Level's game.
"If you want to keep my attention, you have to have courage you know," the woman's voice echoed through the halls, a mature air about her as she spoke to none of them and all of them at once, "how could I ever like you if you can't overcome something as simple as this?"

Sylphie
Oh crap. "I.. haaaaate ice!" Sylphie shrieked, raising her Evoker up, shoving the barrel of the item into her mouth, and pulling the trigger. Seraphita appeared in the air above Sylphie, and a Sukukaja spell floated down over the girl. "Let's go, everyone! Run awaaaaaay!" the girl yelled, running towards the maze. Away, away from evil falling icicles! Getting hit by that would definitely be bad for her, especially considering Seraphita's affinities! And, well, maybe they could try breaking through the walls of the maze...? "And, uh, anybody wanna try breaking these mirror things!?" Sylphie asked her allies as she ran away from the falling icicles.

 Ellen Galietsu, The Kick-a** Senior 'Oh s**t! What the hell is up with this?'
Ellen's heart jolted as the icicles began to fall, quickly grabbing hold of Satoru's hand she quickly began rollerblading as fast as she could pulling Toru along with her to keep up with Sylphie, "Good idea Sylphie! Lemme give it a try!" she used her left hand while rollerblading to grab her evoker and pointed it to her forehead, "Help us!" She pulled the trigger and her persona appeared over her while she pointed to the mirrors, her Persona spun and sent a Garula flying at the mirrors with the hopes of breaking it revealing a hidden path.

~::Nina Sinclare::~ "Miss Velvet" (Senior Member of the Yasogami Literature Club and Library Assistant)From her place at the end of the winding ice-mirror maze the woman's voice huffed indignantly, an obvious displeasure in her silken tone as she took note of the group's impromptu solution to her falling icicle trap. The mirrors shattered as the SEES-2 members had hoped they would, but no sooner had they crossed through that one into a later portion of the maze did a series of sharp icicles slice through the air in front of them...landing inches away from their feet as if to provide a warning. "How childish...you don't know what to do so you just panic and start breaking things?" the voice chided candidly, her disappointment evident...she clearly hadn't intended for them to break through the mirror and had been forced to improvise her game...something she was very unhappy about from the looks of it, "Penalty game! Reach the end of the maze now within...1 minute...or I freeze one of you here in the maze permanently. ...Oh! And no more cheating, okay? I can't stand dishonesty...almost as much as I can't stand pretentiousness."
Her laughter again echoed lightly, but if anything it was even less pleasant than before. She seemed like she was already growing agitated...if she hadn't been agitated enough so before the arrival of the team into her icy maze. There was something bothering her, it was easy to tell...though whether or not it was more than their changing the rules of her game was still far too early to even guess at. Besides, the group had a maze to traverse and falling icicles hot on their heels to contend with...

Sylphie
Dashdashdashdashdash! The threat seemed to have spurred quite a lot of interest in Sylphie, as the girl started running through the maze as fast as she could. Which was actually pretty fast, all things considered, though as she went she summoned Seraphita and sent a Sukukaja to Ellen. Maybe it would help them, maybe it wouldn't, but it did make her feel a little better... Hmm.

 Ellen Galietsu, The Kick-a** Senior 'Hey! That is so unfair!'
Ellen stomped her foot in impatience as she yelled out to the maze to the sound of her voice, "Well maybe you should list your rules before enforcing them on us!" Ellen groaned but did a "thank you" smile to Sylphie as the spell made her feel lighter, no that wasn't it, faster! Grabbing Toru's hand again she started rollerblading like a olympic speed skater much to the dismay of Toru, and to make Toru less of a trouble she picked him up by the collar and held him under her arm.Showing that she was stronger than she looked, "Which way should we go Sylphie?!" Ellen took another look over her shoulder and gave out a light shriek to the sight of the icicle rain on their tails.

Rosealine Miina
A familiar figure with Red hair followed along with them, skating as fast as she could. "W....What's going on here guys?!" she called as she moved, casting a heat riser to make herself faster as she moved with Ellen and Sylphie.
It was.....some kind of maze. But, where was the center?
She kept moving, skating as she tried her damndest to not fall over. That ice following them didn't seem like an ideal place to be....

~::Nina Sinclare::~ "Miss Velvet" (Senior Member of the Yasogami Literature Club and Library Assistant)No sooner had Ellen shouted back at the woman in charge of this unfair little game did a hail of icicles slam down in front of her and separate the rollerblading Senior from the pinkette and red-head dashing like a pair of madwomen towards the goal of the winding corridors of ice to save their friends. It seemed that sort of thing wasn't going to go over well with Nina Sinclare, whose temperament was growing increasingly unstable the closer the group drew towards her location. Yet as the icicles fell in front of Ellen, a mirror to her left disappeared and a new path opened itself up to her, perhaps as an alternative route to the one that she had been cut off from. "I would prefer if you didn't talk, thank you," she responded to Ellen's indignant yell with the hushed, stern tone of a good librarian...though beneath the calm was a level of anger slowly boiling towards the surface...as if barely contained beneath her usual facade, "if traffic is blocked, do you simply slam through the divider into the other lane? Or do you wait it out, take a detour? Some things are just implied. But children like you are too impatient to think about things like that, aren't you?" Again the frosty woman chided the players in her game, as if she understood something that they didn't...but she thought they should have.
It was about that time from the floor before Ellen and Toru that a pair of devious devils...two snow-white Wendigo...rose from a swirling blackness before them and let out a feral roar, blocking their path to the end of the maze with their towering, fearsome frames. "It takes patience to get to know someone, patience to get to understand someone...patience to do anything, to learn anything, to feel anything! Why don't you people understand that?"

Sylphie
This sucked more than anything else had in a long time! Head lowered a bit, Sylphie was running as hard as she could, trying to make her way through the maze before one of her friends got hurt. No, no, no! She couldn't let that happen, she had to stop this person before everyone else started suffering because of her! "Graaaaaaah!" If not for the moments it took to take corners, Sylphie might've been approaching a record in dashing for her age group... Which was still a ways behind the best, but eh, what could you do? Still, perhaps the Sukukaja would be the deciding factor there...

Satoru Otonashi "That isn't needed Ellen..." Toru said as he freed himself from her grip running on his own now. He'd been on and off running all day so he was pretty use to it by now "Unfortunately it's probably no use arguing with someone that has control of this realm." Toru added thinking under the high stress. Toru took a split second to look at the reflections of the mirrors. "This probably isn't a big shock, but we need to move." Toru said as he saw the demons appear. Well that's inconvenient and quite rude. "Okay Demons I think we can handle this no problem." Toru said to his teammates as he pulled the Evoker and summoned Nike. "Persona!" He called out as he attacked one of the Wendigos if they could take one down they might be able to run past.((Sorry this post is a cluster of confusion I kept checking for new posts and there always was one ))

~::Nina Sinclare::~ "Miss Velvet" (Senior Member of the Yasogami Literature Club and Library Assistant)Having not run into the same obstacles that the others had been confronted with, Sylphie emerged from the maze with a little time to spare and in her haste crashed straight into a small mound of snow beneath her feet. The momentum would carom her forward face-first into the ascending hill of white, and when she emerged from her chilling landing spot she would see that the snow gradually increased from the edge of the maze to a chair and a door at the top of the snow-capped hill. And on either side of the singular albeit unmarked path up towards the simple (frozen) wooden chair and large, ice-covered door there were book cases, books scattered about the half-buried shelves and opened, frozen on random pages with pictures, words, all visible through a thin cake of ice layering the paper. And on the chair sat the girl in charge, recognizable now as Nina Sinclare of the Literature Club to those who had seen her or met her in passing (or during their studies for exams in the library) during school days...she looked down at Sylphie far below her (for the room was quite cavernous, the snow hill fairly large with its gradual incline) with no discernible reaction in her eyes and a faint frown upon her lips. Her elbow rested on the arm of the chair and her chin upon her upturned palm, as if growing even more agitated with this little game by the second...and the seconds were ticking away now. "You made it...lucky you," she spoke after a moment, a snide sort of edge in her voice as she huffed and glanced past the pinkette towards the winding maze where the fights continued, "unfortunately for your friends, you're going to be the only one. Which means one of them isn't going to be leaving here...ever...again." There was a mildly amused, almost bitter and teasing tone in her voice as she stood from the chair and counted down the seconds in her mind. Over half way there now...no doubt the others had run into a little opposition by now.
And to that end, Ellen and Toru had indeed run into two of the maze's guardians thanks to her forcing them down a side path...Toru launched his persona at one in an attempt to bring it down, but his attack only knocked the thing back a step and elicited a roar loud enough to let Sylphie know just what sort of 'opposition' her friends had run into in the maze. Curling her lips into a haughty, cruel sort of smirk, Nina didn't so much see as feel the Wendigo's response to Toru's attack...a large fist in the face of the Senior that shattered his glasses and sent him barreling back into Ellen with very little...if any...remorse. "Their weakness is fairly obvious, you know," she added to the pinkette after a moment, again as if teasing her with a carrot that she could never hope to reach, "if you could figure it out and tell them, they might still make it in time...but probably not."Quote: Timer - 25 seconds
Sylphie has emerged from the maze!
