[Misujage]

Like the Academy, the Hospital is split into several buildings each headed by their own medical master. Allowing for a wide variety of healing as each building specializes in their own treatment. The Sound Village feels that it is more logical to have a medical ninja that has mastered their own separate field. This makes it easier to diagnose issues rather than rambling through the immense multitude of symptoms and cures present in one's mind. A new wing of the hospital has been reinforced with concrete bunkers to allow for the medical corps to convene without worrying about being attacked. Eiseijutsu learning & all experiments receive the standard learning reductions here. In addition, there is a special wing for Fuuinjutsu accident recovery...

Jae was panting by the time she had reached the hospital, Shigue practically unconscious on his feet already. Jae was sure he was out cold but he was still mobile, good fortune to her. Some of the nin that were loitered around darted inside to inform the nurses who in term raised their alarm. Out came two men each rushing to their side. They immediately took charge, dragging Shigeru off before her. Jae chased after them, following them all the way until they entered the ER rooms. They would not allow Jae past that point. "But he's my friend!" Jae argued, wanting to know the extent of Shigeru's injuries. "There is nothing you can do for him. You need to heal your injuries first. Come on. Let's go" Jae was a little put off by the nurses that were tugging her away and towards another area. Subdued to her subdue-rs, she let them work on her shoulder, her body numb at that point. It hurt but she dealt with the pain. Bandaged and sent to a room to wait, Jae paced. When will they let him out! It couldn't have been that bad!

Shigeru was quickly placed upon a rolling bed. Medical ninja surrounded him and placed something around his mouth so that he could breath easier. They talked of bringing him blood sue to the large amounts that he had lost. Shige could only see the ceiling moving as the medics moved him around and examined him. They took him to a room where they would perform surgery on his abdomen. It had a great light on which they put him under. A shinobi commanded that they cut away his clothes and immediately, Shige spoke out in order to stop them from damaging his coat. A medic then proceeded to merely open the coat and cut away his shirt and bandages. They asked about the ink and hoped that it had not entered the wound. Shigeru was in and out of consciousness for a few hours as the medical ninja operated. It did not matter to Shigeru if he survived or not, his death by the hand of another shinobi would satisfy him and put him to rest. It felt a lot easier to fade away under the light than to stay awake.

After stabalizing Shigeru, the medical ninja placed him in a room of his own. A blue room with a window that had was more like a portal with no glass. His clothes had been removed and replaced with a one-piece cloth of sorts. A small pouch, filled with clear liquid hung on a pole, had a small tube that ran all the way down to Shige's wrist where the clear liquid entered his bloodstream through a needle. He layed in bed under the covers, his eyebrows furrowed and serious. It was then that Shige's status was passed down to the kunoichi that had come there along with him.

Jae had stood by her windowsill, staring out at the village and taking in it's tranquility and beauty. She had spaced out for quite some time until someone entered her room, informing her that Shigeru was in a room of his own now, in stable condition. Before the nurse could even finish telling her what was going on, the girl was already running down the halls. She narrowly avoided running into people, a few of the nurses calling after her to slow down. After going through the maze like corridors, she skidded to a halt in front of the room they had said he would be placed in. Not even bothering to knock she burst into the room, eager to see for herself that he had made it out alright. Panting she stood a little ways into the room, staring straight at Shigeru. He was pale but other than that he looked alright. "You made it!" She said, stating the obvious at that point. Catching her breath she moved towards the right side of his bed, staring down at him. The aloof smile she always wore spread across her features. "How are you feeling?" She asked him, her gaze tracing the IV lines that dangled from the liquid sac and ran at lengths towards the needle and device attached to his vein.

Although Muffins had burst through the door to his room, Shigeru did not move. His head was straight, facing the door so all he did was look up to Jae as she neared. His face was evident of gloom but easily neutral. Shige looked up to Jae as she smiled, asking how he was. "Heh." Shige fored half a smile while turning his head in the opposite direction to look out the window. He kept still, not saying anything for a while, only looking out through the glass-less window. "Where is Nakura?" Shige finally said in a non-chalant manner, not looking away from the window.

Jae maintained her cheerful smile even though it was evident that he was down spirited. She had been worried about him even though she didn't really know the boy and now he was acting as if it didn't matter whether or not she was here or not. This angered the girl to no extent but she didn't show it. "Oh. She is probably with the Yukikage right now. After checking on you I was going to head out and see how he is doing." Jae cross her arms, waiting to see if Shigeru would turn to look at her. After waiting for a few moments in awkward silence she cleared her throat. "You didn't fail Shigeru." She said, her blue gaze dropping to the floor. She figured that was the reason for his melancholy.

Shigeru scoffed at Jae's attempt to bring his mood into a positive place. What would you call it, then? Shigeru though as he looked out the window. He then turned his head to look at Jae. Her expression was serious , her spacious eyes focused on the floor. "What are you saying?" Shige said without letting his emotions come out in his words. "I was useless. In the forest between the train tunnel and the stairs, I encountered a shinobi who could use the drawings he made on scrolls with his brush. I gave it all I had." Shigeru looked ahead at the open door and saw medical ninja walking about in the hall. "It wasn't nearly enough. He even seemed surprised that I had nothing more to give." Shigeru had sat up now, and looked down to his legs. "And that Jounin, she was just playing with me..." Shigeru's eyes narrowed due to the shame he felt.

Now that Shigeru's attention was directed in her direction Jae lifted her gaze to meet his. Coaxing an eyebrow she mulled over his words, trying to figure out what would be best to tell him. It was said for both of them. She wasn't able to get rid of her opponent either. "So what is winning to you? Killing the other opponent? We accomplished our mission. Our Yukikage is safe. If we had lost our Yukikage would be dead."Moving to the foot of his bed, she dropped the serious expression and picked up her cheerful facade. There was a small table top at the foot of the bed that had a vase and a bland looking flower arrangement on it. Jae picked it up and fingered the leaves, tracing them absentmindedly. The young kunoichi continued to stare at the flowers for a few more seconds before she took a whiff of them. After deeming them boring she placed the vase back on the table top, flickering her gaze on him. She had thought about cheering him up earlier but had changed her mind. It wasn't her business to do so."If you feel that inferior to your opponents then heal. Get better and train with your life on the stakes."She smiled at him, nothing but pure sarcasm in that grin. A small sealed bag held what remained of Shigerus clothing. His undershirt had been shredded to pieces but his pants and coat looked safe enough to don. Grabbing the bag she tossed it at his chest. "I am going to go visit the Yukikage. If you are done feeling sorry for yourself we should check in to see if he is alright."

Shigeru kept his eyes at his legs as he listened to Jae. He began wondering if she knew what it was to be a shinobi. He then began to doubt if he knew what it was himself. Then something Jae said, forced Shigeru to look back at her in surprise. His eyes were serious with concern. Our Yukikage is safe? Shigeru watched as Jae proceeded to a vase of rare flowers found in the mountains. He then looked out the window again. Something flowed from within Shigeru's body. It was refreshing and joyful: Hope. How could it be? Had Orihime run out of chakra? Had she lost her focus? Shigeru turned to face Jae who was now examining one of the flowers. He watched her and slowly smiled in great relief. Shige had never felt so greatful that he was unable to speak. Jae stood before him, a vision. So innocent, and outstanding. She tossed him a bag that seemed stuffed with something soft. It landed on his lap, against his wound, causing him to exhale suddenly but silently. Shige slowly opened it and found his pants and coat, ink free. His head band was also inside, he had taken it off back on the plateau. Shigeru looked up to Jae and nodded. "I am done." He smiled.

Aya raced through one of the hospital buildings, leaping over things and generally causing havoc. The nurses and doctors were used to it however and many of the patients simply cheered as she pretended to race a cart down a hall. She lept over the cart and proceeded to run down the patient ward, poking her head into every room to greet the patients.

Glad to see that Shigeru was done feeling sorry for himself, Jae excused herself and told him she would wait outside for him, so that he could change in privacy. Standing outside of the hall, she daydreamed for a little bit, growing slightly anxious to see their Yukikage. Truth be told, she wasn't really sure of how their Kage was doing. She had merely assumed using her intuition but for all they knew he could have died. Shigeru would doubly take that news poorly, as would she. Crossing her arms across her chest, she drummed her fingers along her arm, growing more and more impatient. Just when she thought that she was going to go slightly nuts she spotted a girl running down the halls of the hospital ward. She was greeting every single person down the line, coming towards them. Mildly she imagined the girl poking her had inside Shigeru's room while he was changing, this rampant thought enticed a giggle from Jae. "Hurry up Shigeru!"She said aloud.

Aya perked up and she changed her attention to a voice down the hall Someone needs a hello today! she thought, her smile curving into a dangerously devious smirk. She immediately bypassed several rooms to come to stand in front of the girl "Hello! How's it going today?" she grinned, holding out a hand to shake. She ignored what would probably be the answer of 'I'm in the hospital. Duh' by grinning widely still.

After managing to slide off the bed, stiffly and painfully, Shigeru opened the bag that had his belongings inside. He stood by the side of the bed, wearing the one piece of cloth that covered most of his body, Shigeru emptied the bag of it's contents. He set his freshly washed coat on the bed along with his pants and a sweater. Shigeru undid the tie that held the cloth to his body and removed it from around his neck since it had one final loop at the neck. Shigeru's upper body was well developed, his skin close to his muscles. His legs were much more toned and detailed, a result of his isolated, muscle training. Just as Shige took his pants from his bed, someone looked into the room. Shigeru whipped his head to the door to see a young girl look inside. "Hey!" Shige covered his groin with his pants, his face becoming red-hot. Moments later, Shigeru had gotten dressed and was ready to leave. He opened the door slightly, looking out to see the same girl that looked in, talking to Jae. Shigeru reluctantly stepped out. He looked to the opposite side of the hall, avoiding eye contact. Aya waved a hand at the boy as he reappeared "You sure freaked out. Nice coloring in the face, by the way. Don't be such a stiff." she teased, throwing a hand to her shoulder. She pushed some hair out of her face "I look old but I'm only 12. So just relax. Think of it like your little sister peeking in." she said with another devilish smile.

Shigeru looked to the girl with narrowed eyes. It was insulting to be told to relax. I'd like to see how'd you react if I saw you naked. "In my defense, there was a draft from the open window." Shigeru said straightening his coat with both hands. He was sure he did not like this one. Something about her displayed her as one without restraint or courtesy. Shigeru looked to Jae in order to speed their departure. His face was serious as he kept his arms crossed, casually as to not indicate that he was feeling pain just being on his feet, not to mention nausea. He had not eaten in a long time and felt that his mood was suffering every second.
