For whatever reason, Hel had avoided the hassle of other Senshi, maybe it was skill? Probably not, she was still only an apprentice in the art of being Senshi when she was turned and was still one even as a corrupted Senshi. It didn't matter much to the little girl in red though, every few nights it was the same simple routine.
Wander into the city all dressed in red, find a civilian, knock him on the head, pop out the starseed and now he was dead. Just another body found in an alley in a city with a body count that was getting far to high.
So Hel added yet another one, holding the small glowing starseed as she casually made her way up the building, she didn't feel like teleporting tonight, the weather was growing colder and the Senshi of Ashes thought it might be nice to take the rooftops for a change.
As it turned out, it would be a very bad idea.

Unfortunately for Hel, her avoiding other Senshi was not going to work tonight, not when another Senshi was on the rooftops. It wasn't one of the few that had deferred to the side of the Negaverse either; it was instead, one of the many Senshi on the side of good.
Super Sailor Flora had never properly met a corrupted Senshi before. Heard of them, seen one at the Masque Ball, knew from correspondence that Nova had been corrupted but had also been purified. The brief details she had weren't much, and she mostly held pity towards them. They didn't ask to be corrupted, right? Which also brought up the disturbing question; Negaverse agents hadn't asked to be corrupted either... right? Since that debate with Lieutenant Raite, Flora was starting to realize that there were more gray areas than she thought there were.
She didn't really know what to do then, when she spotted the Senshi and felt that something was terribly off about her. It was the Negaverse energy, she realized, and for a moment, Flora stood there, just watching the girl's back. She was silent until she caught sight the familiar glimmer of the starseed in the other's hand. "Why are you doing this?" She asked then, revealing her presence.

Shades of grey was a perfect example of Hel, she had been a Senshi, she had been told by a guardian cat who originaly awakened her that she was once 'a good guy'. She had no memories of it, only of her civilian life, and the negaverse. If anyone could fall into a questionable spot it was her.
None the less, hood up and starseed clutched in her hand, one could say she was caught red handed if it wasn't for the fact that the starseed was glowing a soft green in her grasp. "Doing what?" she would ask quietly.
Slowly Hel would turn to face Flora, the starseed however was not what Flora would notice anymore, instead it would be the gaping hole in Hel's chest, her own starseed radiating a faint dark red and black that matched her outfit. The very sight of it showing the corruption the negaverse committed. "You must be one of the other Senshi... I haven't actually met many others really, only one to be honest."

It was hard to face someone questionable when her own morals were being questioned by herself. Others were determined to stick to their view that the world was black and white, a view she once shared. But now, all this grey was overwhelming her, holding her hands and tying them behind her back.
"You know," she told the other. "Stealing someone's life away from them." Killing was wrong, Flora reminded herself resolutely. It was the only belief she strongly held that kept her patrolling, that kept her fighting.
She bit her lip when the dark hole in the girl's chest was revealed to her, her fist clenching. The Negaverse did this. To one of their kind. "I haven't met many of your kind either." Flora replied, clenching a fist.

Everyone saw in shades of grey lately, for Hel it was what justified the murder of an innocent man tonight, he might not have been too innocent he was drunk in a bar, he might have crashed a car and killed someone. Who knew? Why let him possibly die and waste his energy when it could be harvested for the better of the Negaverse?
"Simple, power. We need the power of the people of Earth so we can over throw your foolish princess and be done with this stupid battle with the moon kingdom." She glanced at the starseed, "They say the way to victory is paved in blood, this would be one of those cases where it's very true."
Glancing down at the hole she smiled softly, taking a strange comfort in the red glow, it almost seemed to brighten as the girl focused on it, as if seeing it somehow reminded her that she was stronger for it being this way. "So you would call me a 'corrupted' senshi right? I've heard some of the negaverse throw that around... yes our starseeds might be different, but it gives us so much more power. That's why so many people frown on us, I think everyones afraid of what we could do if the negaverse had more of us, they wouldn't even need the others if they had more like us."
She paused again looking thoughtful, "Even you would be useful, that is if you wanted to leave the moon and join with the earth..." It was an idle suggestion, the thought of a wandering mind. She really didn't want to fight, it would be nice if she could simply convince this new Senshi to simply leave her be.
Somehow she doubted that as she slipped the starseed into a subspace pocket to free up both her hands.

"I know the Senshi of Blood." Flora said coldly, eyes narrowing when the other called her Princess foolish. "And even she would not condone this." Even if Hel was referring to the Moon Princess as it wasn't common knowledge that the Seasons were the Zodiac's, Flora felt the anger in herself rising up protectively.
"Power." Flora repeated, rolling her eyes. "Why does everyone say that darkness is power? Light is power too. It's just an excuse because anger and hatred comes easier. Instead, I think one is much more powerful in overcoming the power of the darkness." It was all about inner strength. People were weak if they submitted themselves willingly to the darkness and gave up. They were some who had been tainted by the darkness but had managed to clamber back and thus, she considered them strong.
"I'm sorry." Flora bit back angrily. "I do not belong to neither the Moon nor the Earth." She did have friends from both sides though and they were what mattered the most. They wouldn't want her to slip over to the side of the Negaverse.

"Just because she rules a power of blood does not give her room to judge if what we do is wrong."
Hel watched hands at her sides as Flora dismissed her, her own shoulders simply shrugging. "Our power is dark perhaps, yes, and your might be light, but how much better are you coming to the Earth with your kin to rule? We do what we must to defend our kingdom from you."
"Not of the earth or the moon..." She frowned and suddenly a name crossed her mind; Zodiac. Obsidian had managed to kill one, but how bad would it be to fight one herself?
Slowly she raised her hands stepping back slightly before whispering, "Ash Strike..." slowly clouds of ash would drift from her hands lightly coating the ground around her. "Regardless of who or what you are... I can't let you have this starseed..."

"Spilling innocent blood is never right." Flora affirmed, not only for Hel's ears, but to strengthen the belief in herself. To clench her fists and decide that yes, this hesitation she was cupping within herself wasn't right.
"The Earth is not Beryl's kingdom." She said crisply. "Then again, all of you are tainted by her lies. Although, I don't expect any of you to be swayed when you hear the truth from us. Given too much to her, after all." And don't expect me to be swayed by your words. Her Princess had never demanded lives, and were only intent on saving them, and that was the right path.
The Senshi of Spring stepped backward as well as Hel's attack started, throwing every bit of hesitation she had to the wind. Although actually, she thought, Zephyr would have been useful in this situation. She didn't say anything; what was it with her and trying to reason with the Negaverse nowadays? The Super Senshi only held her own hands up, brooch glowing. "Flora Pollen Storm!"

"Some things must be done even if you don't like them." She shrugged slightly the ash still raining down, even trailing from her boots it seemed. "How do we know you aren't being lied too? How do you know that through all that sweetness and loving goodness you might be the ones hurting this world? We make our choices, and we stand by them."
Even as she spoke she started to move towards the other Senshi raising her hands before her, palms open facing Flora, suddenly a cloud of strange cloud of dust appeared before her. At once she sucked down a breath of air before dashing through it towards Flora, her eyes watering and itching as she pulled back an open palm to strike at Flora's shoulder. She had to land a hit, or catch her with the ash trail before it touched ground, anything to slow her down before she had to take another breath in... what ever this cloud was!

"The only things I see hurting this world are stealing lives and wrecking chaos with unleashing monsters." Flora said, planting herself firmly, rooted in the belief. It was right. Why had she ever doubted her stand in this just because she had a bit of a talk about morals with that lieutenant? Her side was the right one. It did not kill.
The ash trailing from the girl was disturbing, and a part of her blanched at that she would probably get it on her clothes. But she had gotten youma dust before, and that was considerably worse. A palm concentrated her pollen attack on Hel's face; the other couldn't hold her breath forever after all. For good measure, her free elbow was aimed towards Hel. However, Hel's fist had struck that shoulder where the place Raite had hit before. Despite this, Flora determinedly held her own breath and tried to connect her elbow with the girl's stomach, intending to knock some air out of her.

Had she not been holding her breath Hel would have likely shot another remark back to the other girl. As it was she didn't know what this cloud would do to her now that it seemed to focus on her face. Still her first hit landed and Flora would feel the ash cling to her shoulder, it felt oddly heavy and slowed her shoulders movements.
That came however at a price, Hel coughed as her stomach met Flora's rib. In her credit she didn't gasp for more air, instead she took her other hand and thew a quick punch down at Flora's hip hoping to coat her leg in some of the falling ash. Even as she tried she took a small gasp of air holding it tight as the world started to spin a little. It was poison! Dammit all!

Too late Flora had realized that the ash had more of an effect than dirtying her clothes, and she connected it to her arm moving slower as if it was almost paralyzed. Of course, senshi attacks weren't that useless. Even a seemingly harmless pollen cloud had taken down it's fair share of youma and Flora raised an eyebrow in triumph as Hel took a quick breath.
It was lucky she did so at that time because the light on Flora's brooch started to fade, signifying the soon to be end of her attack. More ash came her way and frustrated, Flora blew out a quick breath, only to watch the ash on her arm fly off in reaction. So it didn't properly stick! "Dust seems harmless." She said quietly. "But it can do more than that." Yellow dust and black dust. Similarities of two Senshi on two different sides.

She couldn't let up, she couldn't stop now, she had to continue her asualt letting up now would do her no good at all. Her eyes didn't notice the fading light in the pendent, she didn't care. She had to win before what ever that attack against her ran its full course. Her body lowered, her hands raising up throwing quick shots at Floras gut, trying to coat her legs and stomach. Slow her, pummel her till she gasps for the air that poisoned her.
"Never harmless. Will. Get. You." She hissed in the mixing cloud of yellow and black. Her lungs burned and the world spun even more as she stumbled falling forward. Dammit she was wide open and she couldn't figure out which way she was even falling now.
This was going downhill very fast.

Even though she attempted to dodge, some of Hel's punches landed on her legs, which Flora tried to brush off, wincing slightly as it got on her white gloves. Unfortunately for Hel, Flora had never shown any sign of being affected by her own attack, since she knew to steer clear of it and aim it in the opposing direction. Still, her movements were slowing thanks to the clinging ash, although it was lucky that Hel didn't seem to have the capacity to attack her further.
It was rather perturbing however, to watch the other senshi get so affected by the pollen, and for a moment, the image of that plant youma exploding into dust before popped into her mind. "You won't kill me." She said simply, stepping backwards, parts of her legs moving slowly due to the ash.

It was too much, no matter how many times she had hit the other Senshi she was down for the count. She fell to her knees coughing as the cloud slowly faded away, it didn't matter now. What pollen was still around was working its course in her body.
"G-god this..." she shivered slumping over lower onto the ground, the starseed she was holding dropped from her corset as she slumped down clinging to her stomach. As Flora would approach she would vanish, a flash of ash and nothing more leaving a starseed laying in her place. Maybe Flora had time to save a life today after all?
For Hel though it would be far less pleasing, she would appear in an alley streets over retching into a corner purging the pollen from her body in near tears. It burned, it sucked, she had been humiliated by a Senshi and lost a starseed to top it off! Slowly she would stumble into a standing position powering down before stumbling home to Rho who would surely hound her for her condition.
