Darcy sat on the ground, holding Marmalade in her lap gently. These chimera kittens were such odd little creature....adorable, but totally odd. The girl rubbed the little fluffball's tummy, playing with the kitten idly as she waited for the twins' arrival. Did she have any idea that Loki was deathly afraid of chimera kittens? Probably not, but who could really say. For once, the girl wasn't complaining about the punctuality of their expected guests, too busy playing with the little orange fluffball of doom.

Aaron watched his sister idly, trying not to chuckle at her. Wasn't that cute~? He smirked, shaking his head before looking back out at the cliffside, keeping an eye out for their guests. While they hadn't had the time to set up a fire or anything, the boy had atleast brought some sandwiches and sodas for their guests. Couldn't have them go hungry, right?

It was freezing. The cold air of November cut through a certain freckled fae's skin like knives; the clear night sky hinted that it would be colder after dawn.

Freezing, though the idea of confronting those who had put his mother in her current condition seemed to please Loki. Had it been anyone else, the fae might not have been so interested. Still, the fae didn't at all appreciate his mother being in pain. Unless he was the one who caused it, of course. His eyes were a gray-black, very little white to them.

He flashed a fanged smile in Aaron's direction as he entered the cave, though his eyes narrowed as he looked upon Darcy. He took a step backwards, giving an unreadable expression. She had a chimera. A chimera, of all creatures!

Maybe he could leave before Milo arrived.

Feh, he didn't see why he had to come out here to some stupid grungy caves in the middle of nowhere. Milo scowled, pulling his coat closer to him to shoo the cold away. Stupid Darcy-person. This had better be good, or mark his words, he'd make the orange-haired one pay. Preferrably cash, but he could settle for beating the daylights out of the girl and stealing her shoes and any jewelry she had on her.

Oh, look who else was here. "Hey, bro. Fancy seeing you here." the boy greeted, offering the boy an amused smirk before looking to Darcy. All signs of a positive mood drained from his face, his arms crossing. "What do you want?" he asked, his nose scrunching up in distaste at the girl and her brother.

Aaron looked over at the twin boys, his face forming a concerned frown. He sensed hostility so, like a good well-trained brother, he stepped between his sister and the two young fae. "Would you two like to take a seat?" he asked, motioning to two of the rounded boulders. "If you are hungry, we brought thermoses of soup and tea."

Darcy smiled at the two boys, petting the chimera as she addressed them. "Glad you boys could make it." she said, sounding amused. "What I want is to know how you're growing, how your life is, and if you have any questions you think we can answer."

Loki forced a smile. "Hey Milo," he said, eyes softening to gray as he glanced to his brother. "Sup?" His eyes immediately went to Aaron, since the boy was blocking his view of Darcy.

"The only question I have is why you are trying so hard to kill my mother," Loki huffed. "If you mess with her again, I swear I'll--" he hesitated, glaring at Aaron. His eyes had gone black, but where flickering. As if he couldn't quite make himself angry enough. Or perhaps he knew Aaron was dangerous. "I'm growing fine," he added. "Life's life. Why does it matter to you, anyway? Your life won't last long if you mess with my mom again."

His fangs were bared in a silent snarl. Clearly he had no interest in answering Darcy's questions completely.

Milo shrugged. "Not much. Got called out to this creepy place too." the boy muttered, feigning disinterest. While he wasn't happy to be here, he was still curious. Brown eyes fell on Darcy before rolling in their sockets. "What's it to you?" he retorted, arms folding. "Those are pretty personal questions that you don't need answered. And I have nothing I want to ask you; what could a girl know, anyways?"

An amused smirk spread across the boy's face as he noticed his brother's demeanor. Oh, this was sure to prove interesting. Without so much as a "thank you", the young fae snatched up a thermos of soup and took a seat on one of the rocks. Something told him the fun was just about to start.
