The house is fairly simple, it has an attic with just enough storage for holiday items to be put up there when it's out of season. There are a total of three bedrooms, the master bedroom and two guest bedrooms. The use the master bedroom as their own, and Deskri uses one of the guest bedrooms for his art.

The whole house has wood flooring. There is a total of one and a half bathrooms, the half bathroom is located in the master bedroom.

The front lawn is fairly bare, but has room for additions. The house is a deep gray color with black sidings. The backyard is also fairly bare, save for a patch of dirt reserved for a garden should they get bored enough to have one in the future.

The flowers of course, don't exist. The picture frames would hold photos of him with friends or family.

[See Deskri's journal for the beginning of this roleplay, as it was done partially in MSN]

Deskri closed his phone and stuck it in his pocket once more. He let out a long sigh, he could wait half an hour for her to get here. He stood up and then brought the bag back into his room, as it had presents for his friends in it. He'd lied about not having any idea of what to give people for Christmas, just in case anyone decided to snoop. He credited that to a bit of paranoia.

When the doorbell went off, he shuffled out into the hallway again and then made his way to the door. He took a breath, and then opened it and moved out of the way for Sonnet to come in. "Thank you..."

Sonnet shuffled through the door with all she had brought with her, mainly clothes and needed toletries. She could get everything else she needed later, right? That and who knew, she might not even be here that long.

Who was she kidding, this was Deskri. She'd be hear for a good long while, but she really didn't care how long it took. She was Sonnet, and that's just how she was. Deskri could need her shoulder to cry on every night for the rest of her life and she'd be more then happy to be there.

As soon as she was through the door and off to an area that wouldn't be in the way, she dropped her things and wrapped herself around Deskri, a wall of comfort in one tight hug.

Deskri followed after her, figuring she would stop at some point to put her things down. He prepared to give her a tour of the place, but instead found himself in a hug. He wrapped his arms around her and laid his head on her shoulder, it was amazing how a simple thing like a hug could make him want to cry again.

A few stray tears made their way out. He sniffled a bit, just remaining where he was for a moment. "I-I guess you'll n-need to be shown a-around huh?" He mumbled into her shoulder, just loud enough for her to hear.

Her fingers ran through his hair, before she patted him on the head, resting her own head lightly on top of his.

"That would be nice," she said, playing along with his poorly executed plan of pretending nothing was wrong. "I don't want to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and end up in a closet or anything." She laughed lightly and removed her head from his and looked at him with a sad smile.

"Haha... yeah..." He nodded a bit, putting up a halfassed smile and then took one of her hands in his. "Well... this is the living room... there's a tiny kitchen over there." He nodded at an open doorway, through it there was a table and chairs that was visible, and part of the counter. The room seemed rather bare, but then again, Deskri wasn't a chef.

He lead her down the hallway to another room. "This is a guest room, you can sleep in here since it's the only other bed aside from mine." He opened the door, the room was fairly empty aside from the bed and a small dresser in the corner. "Next door is the bathroom... only one shower so... yeah..." As he continued he started to feel a little bit better, but there was also a feeling of awkwardness since he knew he really shouldn't be pretending that everything was fine after that phonecall.

"I put my art stuff in here... and there's my bedroom down there. Uhhh there's a door to the backyard in the kitchen, but its nothing too special or anything."

Sonnet didn't say much during the tour. She listened and was lead along through the house, making sure to make note of important places.

"You haven't shown me much of your art, at least nothing recent..." she commented, it being more of an outwardly thought then anything else. When you're wrapped up in a boyfriend like Deskri seemed to be, one probably didn't have much time for painting.

"I should probably move my things to the guestroom," she mused, not moving.

"Most of it's not been so great. Nothing I'd want other people to see, I mean." He mused in response. That meant anything he'd been painting was just a way of venting, and usually involved some amount of blood in it. Most of his paintings were black and white, occasionally he added in some color here and there, but he was definitely a fan of black and white.

"Oh, yeah I guess." He started down the hall again to get her things for her, figuring it was the least he could do. "Your family wasn't too upset that I snatched you away from them, were they?" He headed back into the guest room.

"Ah," she said as she followed him, making sure she at least grabbed most of her things. She left him with something to carry or he'd have started complaining about him feeling bad he wasn't doing anything to help, even thought she had come to help him. That's what he wanted, right?

Still, even with her being there he was putting on this brave face. Like before, at the diner, where he wasn't even showing her his true face. She knew it was all fake. She could see right through it then, and even though now it was just the two of them he was doing it still, only not as much.

She set her things down in the room, and just looked at him, waiting.

He looked back at her, knowing she was waiting for him to fall apart or something. Honestly he was holding onto the pieces of himself with such a death grip he wasn't sure how much longer he could keep it up, even though he didn't particularly want to fall apart in front of her despite knowing that it was safe to do so.

"before he came back... I got really angry and wrecked the place." He glanced at the window in the room. Well... it wasn't anything that would cause him to lose his grip on himself, but it was somewhere to start. "I mean like... destroyed everything... I haven't ever been that angry. I'm still kind of angry." He looked back at her, and absentmindedly chewed at his lip ring. Yes, still angry, but not nearly as angry as he was sad.

Sonnet sat down on the bed in the room as Deskri started to talk, listening intently all the while.

"It's okay to be angry," she said with a nod. "While maybe that wasn't the best way to deal with the anger, anger itself is a perfectly natural responce for someone in your situation to have." Her tone was serious, yet understanding. She pulled one of her knees in to rest her head on, looking at him still.

Deskri moved over to sit next to her and half leaned on her. It was easier to talk if he was close, but not looking her directly in the eye. Even though he knew she was very understanding of his problems and shortcomings, some part of his broken mind always feared that one day, she wouldn't be. And he'd see it on her face.

"he didn't seem too upset about that... he said his mother would replace it all." He let out a long breath. "He didn't seem very moved by anything, really... even after I told him that I couldn't be with him." The memory of that made a bit of emotion come up in his throat again and threaten to make him lose his grip.

"That could have happened for many reasons, him seeming calm," she began, her eyes closed now. Listening was her main focus, her eyes could lie to her, and so could Deskri's face, but not his voice, if she focused on it solely.

"While I never got to know Rasiel as well as I would have liked, my conclusion is he hid it. Like you did when he was missing, like you're trying to do now." She sighed a heavy sigh. "Rasiel is a caring fellow deep down, but he doesn't seem to think about how some actions can affect the people he cares about. His whole family seems to have inherited this trait, probably from their mother, Kae, but this is only my conclusion with what little knowledge I have on the subject."
PostPosted: Sat Dec 18, 2010 5:10 pm

Deskri listened, thinking her conclusion over. It seemed logical... more than logical, really, it had to be true. It had to... he couldn't let himself think that Rasiel had wanted the break up in the first place and was just waiting for him to do it. No... that hurt too much.

"y-yeah..." he nodded a little, not missing the jab at his facade. "I don't want to fall apart...I know I'm going to, but I don't want to.." he opted to lay down on his back, eyes closed. It was a little more relaxing that way. "I thought that maybe...b-because he was so calm that just maybe... he'd been wanting it... and that hurt."

"Take your time. It will happen when it happens," she said.

"To let yourself break, to let yourself feel what's on the inside on the outside, it's not really easy. Even when it's around someone you really care about."

Her eyes remained closed as she gave another sigh.

"So if you break in a few minutes, or a few hours or a few days or a few weeks, that's fine. I'll be right here when it happens, and I'll help you piece yourself back together, bit by painful bit." She opened her eyes finally and turned her head to look at him with a smile.

"That's what best friends are for after all, right?"
