The sory so far.....
It all started when the crystals fell from the sky. No one could explain it,no one picked up anything from space...It was a complete mystery for the first 10 minuites.It was on an island out in the middle of the pacific ocean. There were 50 diffrent crystals,even though thousands dropped,and they all seemed to glow diffrent colors, and sometimes that light .....seemed to seem into somebody unexpectedly. The crystals were very interesting, so no one saw what they had fallen from. It was a little boy who looked up first. He pointed it out to his mother,who looked up and screemed,alerting everyone in the crowd. It was a gaint shadow above the clouds,not the size of a city or even a state,but an entire continent! And as soon as it started,it stopped. Soon the shadow moved on and dissappered,shrinking. The people on the island tried calling their freinds on other parts of the world,but no one had seen this strange continent. Until the next day that is. The Sky continent appeared over other cities around the world,dropping crystals. Soon it was what everyone was talking about. People were trying to get onto it,but no one seemed able to,and the gave up trying. The last time it was seen was over The same island,wich had become a tourist attraction, and people were flying in from everywhere. One person saw it through a window,and took a picture. That was the last time somebody saw it moving. After that, it seemed to disappear.
5 years later...
Scientists started working on the crystals,seeing what they were good for. It turns out someone had taken a crystal and had been able fly close to the continant,so close he could have landed,if he hadn't ran out of fuel. So scientists started testing them,and the were able to actually power an engine 20 time better than oil based engines,and greener too. Soon enough people made gigantic ships, and also tiny personal ships. But with these blessings came crime. People began to mount weapons on the ships, and gangs and groups of people made live out as sky pirates,and some just made their own society on a ship.People still look for the continant as a symbol of hope, even though people have searched everyend of the globe for it. No one knows if the sky continent will return or not....but that's for you to decide.
