I just wanted to say hiya guys. Feel free to delete this thread, I was so noob I didn't find the welcome thread anywhere, and given that I can use the space here, well...

Nevermind. Now that I think about it, I will post my chars' stuff here as soon as I am done with them.

This place really reminds me of the best D&D party I've ever had ^o^

Great, now I got the image I want for my char, but it seems I'm gonna need a little help doing the character. Here it is the pic:

As per the concept of Oraga (that's her name):
Backstory:
She comes from an almost extinct tribe. She thinks she may be the last of it, but she expects to be wrong (wheter this is true or not it's up to the story progress).

Magic:
Oraga is a well-versed magic user. Being a cultist gave her tremendous expertise over a special type of magic called Blood Magic. That kind of sorcery is similar to Dark Magic, but with some differences. Blood Magic is more like "traditional" Witchcraft and thus rarely flashy. Lightning bolts and such feats are impossible to do with Blood Magic. Blood Cultists (they dislike to be called Magicians or Wizards) believe in the power coming from the very vitae of living beings, and they use it to power their spells, which focus in improving or limiting a being's capabilities, increase physical or mental performance and bestow or supress a creature's natural or magical powers. Oraga and other Cultists besides her know how to use Blood Magic to animate small objects to give them a life-like semblance, and even some powers, but she knows of others that were able to use Blood Magic to raise the dead (her teacher, and ancient and powerful Cultist, performed twice such an incantation, the first time to restore the life of the dead leader of the tribe - using the blood of other 2 Cultists, which died in the process - and the second time it seems she used it to revive Oraga herself).
Offensive uses of this type of magic include spell used to make a creature bleed through various parts of the body, specially the ears (possibly deafening the creature for a short time), the eyes (possibly blinding the creature for a short time too) and the mouth (impairing speech). And although she knows these battle spells she rarely, if ever, has performed them.

Combat:
Oraga is an above-mediocre combatant. She has better knowledge of melee than your average inhabitant, but against an experimented foe she is likely to lose the fight. However she can hold her own for a short time, even against talented combatants due to her buff spells (she has always at least one active spell over her) and to her good reflexes and quick thinking. She also looks more dangerous and threatening than she really is, thus giving her an edge (at least initially) against opponents that she has never battled.

For those that read this far, how do I do such a character? I am aware that the type of magic I am proposing here is similar to Nao's Dark Magic, yet I am aiming to a different style of it. Perhaps it's just a different type of Dark Magic...

I am still reading the rules, my time is severely limited but I do wanna play (and promise to post at least once a week). Any help or advice will be really appreciated. Thanks.
