User ImageTsuna sighed and looked out onto the pouring rain drumming down on the forest in front of them. He and cicely had escaped into a cave on their way back to… well they where still figuring that out. The couple had just left cecily’s sister and had finally gotten back to warmer weather when the two had gotten caught in a rather fierce storm.
He shook his head he knew what he should do after all cicely had taken them to see her family it was only natural that tsuna do the same, but his situation with his family was different. His sister, well he wasn’t really close with her and at best they had a hate … maybe love relationship. His father, he knew would be indifferent and not really care if Tsuna came home with a mate. He supposed he should show Cicely to Kito, after all the regular fox had definitely been more parent like than his own. However Tsuna knew his old man loved them as much as a full daeva could. He shook his head again. He had been pondering it for a while.
Tsuna opened his mouth to say something and shook his head before turning back to looking at the rain. He should just forget the whole thing. After all Sitara had disappeared to who knew where. He had never really met his older brother or mother and Uncle Kito and his father lived on a rather non friendly tribe land.

"You've been twitching like you have fleas all day," came a drawling voice from the darkness of the cave. A bright red vixen emerged from the shadows, yawning and frowning at her mate.

Cicely was an irritable, sarcastic, and indifferent fox. Maybe the reason she picked a Daeva for a mate was because she had something of a Daeva-ish attitude of her own. It led to some awesome arguements between the two of them. Tsuna and Cicely just had one of those relationships; fight like cats and dogs, remain together until their fur turned gray, gripe about how the other just wouldn't die and give them peace, and cause general grief for their family.

Speaking of family. Cicely had taken to asking Tsuna about his relatives every now and then. Mostly because it was funny to watch him twitch and start ranting, but lately the curiousity was actually genuine. She figured that's what had her mate staring broodily out into the rain. She settled down next to him, tail twitching behind her and waiting for a response to her comment.

"Pfft I've seen what fleas do to a poor modifox, trust me I am not twitching like I have fleas. I'm thinking obviously you should try it some time" Tsuna rolled his eyes. "I decided I could take you to meet the only family members that count. Might as well get it over with and tell my dad since the only one I really want you to meet is Kito and Kito never goes anywhere with out dad. Seriously the two should just end up with each other" he rolled his eyes.
They always told everyone they didnt see each other that way but when ever Morin came along his father jealous old woman. It was very tiring.

"I do think. I just happen to be quite good at hiding my thoughts. It's to my advantage to let people think I'm crass and lazy." True to her word, her brain was shuffling through a cycle of thoughts.

In the forefront was what she knew of Tsuna's family. Sister, twin brother, parents, a couple close friends that were like family. Tsuna mostly talked about his dad, Kito, and Morin. From her understanding she probably wouldn't register as much of interest in his mind. Kito would be the one to impress.

Not that Cicely really cared. Approval or not, it never stopped her from doing what she wanted. It made the big picture a whole lot simpler that way.

"but personally it would just be more fun to walk by and drop kits off if we ever have them on my dad's lap and say hey your a grandfather spend time with them we'll be back in a few hours. We wouldn't have to worry about whether or not they would be okay since Kito is a carer and would take care of them. Screw getting permission. Personally it would probably be doing the world a favor if I never saw them again." Tsuna rolled his eyes. Storms tended to bring out the more daeva side of him.

He growled thinking of his sister. She had some weird delusion that she had control over him and could kick his a** when ever she wanted, that may have been true when they where kits but now he was taller and no longer thinking such ridiculous thoughts like he was going to be a phim when he grew up. Personally the next time he saw her he wanted to rip her throat out. Love was some thing the older starry daeva had lost.

Cicely shrugged. "Whatever. Your call. Not like I need the validation or anything." Her stormy gray eyes were unreadable as she glanced over at Tsuna. "If those mind fleas don't go away though, I don't care if you stay behind or go with. I'll just find your family myself and you can go bond more with Celia in the mountains. Seriously, do you know how many times you've sighed today? It's getting annoying."

"probably as much as you mumble in your sleep monkey queen, and you seriously want to go out into that weather?" Tsuna asked raising a paw towards the rain outside. As if to prove his point a very bright strike of lightning hit the tree right outside the cave."pfft didn't know your pride made you suicidal, oh wait it did if I recall your the one that ran into a burning forest." he stated but none the less made a mental note to stop sighing out loud so much. It would be easy. "besides, walking into Akatsuki would have you eaten faster than you can say a. They are not a very nice bunch, I can get away with it because I was raised in Akatsuki land. Of course Uncle Morin also lives in a rather hostile ish tirbe"
PostPosted: Sat Nov 06, 2010 11:26 am

Cicely snorted. "Why don't you use that brain you're so fond of and take your own advice. When did I ever say I was planning to leave now." She stood and padded further back from the entrance to avoid the strengthening rain.

She didn't give comment to his remark about the tribe and their lack of pleasure to see an outsider. Everyone who'd heard of Akatsuki knew of their temperments. It wasn't like she was planning to just waltz into the middle of their group, and she'd thank Tsuna for giving her credit for brains.

"You implied it" This was queue for another eye rolling. "however I'm not to sure if I could just waltz into Akatsuki land either. I know Morin did it frequently I guess I'll have to ask him." he sighed but then looked up at the storm. Being an animal and a flier he could tell when things like storms or rain or other such things where coming. "Its going to clear up soon. We should probably go when it does. This place smells too much like bear for my comfort" Tsuna suggested.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 06, 2010 8:37 pm

Cicely shrugged, not too concered. Tsuna was about as big as a bear himself, and most animals didn't like the flames that Daevas could generate. She had enough experience from her occasional scuffles with Tsuna that she was confident enough that she could avoid a bear.

"You know me, I do my very best to keep my implications to myself."

"Pfft you don't imply at all you just flat out say it" Tsuna pointed out. It was getting a little cold so he got up and burnt the ground where he just been standing and waited for the embers to cool down a bit when they where he lay back down and curled up all nice and warm. He gave her another look at the fact he was supposed to deal with the bear. he was too lazy at the time to deal with huge bears.

Cicely's returned look implied that he would be only hell of a lazy bum if having an actual bear in front of them didn't shift his a**. Contrary to how some of her nagging might have sounded, Cicely rarely dared her mate to go out and actually do dangerous stuff.

There was at least one thing the pair had in common; a dislike for cold when you could always up and move somewhere warmer. Cicely would never lay anywhere near Tsuna's paws, her mistrust laid more in the unpredictable nature of fire than in Tsuna's control, but she had no problem snuggling up to her mate when the air had a bite to it. Ugh, snuggle. There had to be a better word.

Word usage aside, that's exactly what Cicely did right now. She picked a spot right up against his side, closer to the belly where the fur was softest and warmest. She had to wiggle a little, the edge of his wing restly ever so lightly on her back, but Tsuna's wings were usually plenty warm as well. Part of that dragon thing he kept going on about whenever she called him a bat, no doubt.

Tsuna looked over and gave a look at his mate. He could have shifted his wings a bit and given her more warmth but she would probably try and create another hole in them so he left them in place. It was something about it looked too much like snuggling.
He hoped the warmth wouldn’t send his mate to sleep, although it would give him more time to think. The two had been forced into the forest when the storm hit and the thickness made it impossible to fly out of carrying another person. The way back was blocked by a landslide and he was pretty sure there was a human village some where in front of them. He hoped it wasn’t some hunter village it was annoying to be hunted with guns. “we might have to go through a human village to get out of the forest” Tsuna spoke up.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 06, 2010 10:58 pm

Cicely sighed through her nose. She hated human villages. They stank, and those four-legged creatures they kept as pets were ugly and made annoying noises when they spotted her.

"If we have to go through one I demand solitary recon. Skinny bit of crowbait like me is harder to hit and not nearly as worth their efforts." Stupid humans, some were faster than they had a right to be! It didn't help they seemed to enjoy killing things, especially unusual ones. Cicely wasn't too out of the ordinary in their world, but she'd rather not have someone going after Tsuna cause they thought his pelt would be a nice rug and his wings and head good trophies.

So this was pretty much one of her subtle and irritablely-disguised attempts at caring about her mate.

Tsuna hide a small smile before nodding in all seriousness. It made more sense, even if he didn’t like it. He was rather tall and actually bigger than some of the humans walking around. It didn’t also help that daeva and there weren’t actually too many in the world.
“yes I know I wanted to avoid the town all together but now its because it’s the only way out of this forest. The way back got blocked and its too hard to escape into the sky plus I don’t want to walk through the human village, I certainly don’t want to fly over it. Humans seem to shoot too many flying things.” He pointed out.
