 Allistar stepped into the nursery and sighed,"Of course." Her instinct,the same feeling she had at the football field, had led her to this room, and all she thought was,Where is the little cretin? She sighed before she continued,"Alright kids. Time to get to the auditorium." She picked up two infants and realized that there was no way she could evacate all these kids by herself before some creature stormed through those doors.

Intense heat could be felt through the halls leading up to the Nursery long before any cause could be seen. Coming around the corner, a young girl staggered, walking more like a zombie than a human. Her movements seemed forced and sluggish and blood stained the lower half of her shirt. Her eyes were the only thing that stood out on this ghoulish abomination. The blue orbs were very much alive and filled with pain. As the girl neared the Nursery a lump that had been in her chest seemed to slither down to her leg and back.
At least someone had come. Had there been no protector, the imp inside the girl's abdomen would have incinerated the poor children. After all, what better way to prevent future rebellion than by getting rid of the heirs? At the sight of Allistar holding two of the infants, the imp seemed to give pause. His master had told him of incredible beings in Reed's and he should be wary. The girl's body swayed and took a few steps to the side as if she was off balance. The imp decided he'd allow the rescuer to make a move and then, if he was still around, he'd send searing fire their way.
Meanwhile, the pain-stricken girl who was trapped in her own mind, silently pleaded for Allistar to run, to grab all the kids and flee. She felt helpless and that was perhaps the worst pain of all.

Allistar stared at the girl, seeing her in pain being controlled by some...thing. She pushed the older children,along with the two infants she had been holding, into the bathroom and shut the door tightly. When she turned back she wasn't sure what to do, but she knew she would have to fight before she could grab any more children. Allistar slid along the wall and pushed on the window. It was so tight and secure that she had no other choice but to break it. Once the glass gave way and fell with thuds to the floor she silently reached out for the wind and breezes that would pass by the room. Once she held a handful she studied the girl, hoping that there would be some way to save her....some way to draw the creature out.

The girl continued to trudge down the corridor and then rounded into the nursery. She wobbled for a moment, trying to steady herself as the temperature within the room began to sky rocket. A body temperature of 106 degrees Fahrenheit was fatal to a human, and the intense warmth spreading from the possessed girl could cook the children and Allistar in about 30 minutes. The girl reeled back, not noticing the breeze that was pulling some of the heat away, and then lurched forward. Fire spewed from her mouth toward Allistar, a wide cone of deadly flame. It sustained for a good 10 seconds before ebbing. If the look in the girl's eyes had been pain before, now it was death. Her throat was burned and her tongue nearly melted. Blood began to seep from her parted dried lips just as her torso flung back to heave out another blast.

Lloyd burst into the room, heroics intended. Contrary to his nature, he didn't complain about the room's temperature, but began to pull out his two primary swords and spin them around rapidly, causing a powerful gust of wind. He faced this gust in the direction of Allistar and the kids. He may not have been able to use water to cool them off, but he hoped that air would at LEAST do half as well. He then looked at the girl. Fear, pain and despair were in her eyes as the creature possessed her, and frankly, he didn't know what to do! Hoping for more assistance, he continued to fan the small group.

Allistar wiped her forhead of sweat as she glared toward the creature. She glanced at the man who had stepped in and motioned for him to come closer since she didn't want to walk far from the children. She released a handful of wind strands at the girl. I don't want to make this call...but I don't think she can be saved... She sighed before she forced more wind into the room,trying to make it cooler. She looked back at the man and asked,"Any ideas?"

After spitting the second stream of fire, the girl stayed hunched over, heaving in air in a desperate attempt to live. If she could have screamed she would have as her knees began to wobble uncertainly beneath her. With the gusts Allistar threw towards her, she toppled over and hit the ground blissfully unconscious. The imp had left her body through the slit it'd made in her stomach under the veil of that last attack. A human host was only good for so long before it got used up and couldn't function anymore. The lizard, unknown to the two fighters, slithered into a pile of stuffed animals before hugging the wall to try and get behind Lloyd. It waited, looking for the any signs of panic or confusion from the pair.
In the mean time, while the temperature was being somewhat cooled by the air currents, it was now really just moving hot air around. What wasn't being cooled was the bathroom where Allistar had hidden the children and it was becoming an oven. The kids were crying and starting to shriek while others were falling silent from heat exhaustion and fever.

Before he could give his opinion on the matter, the very girl that had been possessed by the lizard collapsed before his eyes. But before he could say anything about THAT, he began to hear shrieks of agony and terror from the direction of the bathroom. Putting two and two together, he simply said: "Take care of her. I'll air this place out." Wasting no time, he rushed at the nearest wall, chanting a few words as he did so. Instantly, he was bathed in a gentle green glow. He headbutted the wall with all of his force, then drew away, watching as the part of the wall he had hit collapsed, leaving a rather large hole. Running to the bathroom, he flung open the door, then rushed back to the hole he'd made. Standing just in front of it, he began to windmill his arms, swords in hand, until he became a makeshift fan! Slowly but surely, he was sucking away the hot air out into the hole.

Allistar looked at Lloyd,then back at the girl. She picked her up gently and set her in with the children, hoping that she'll be saved. When she stepped back into the room she squinted her eyes as she tried to find the imp. Where did the little cretain go...? She continued her search with wind at the ready, expecting the lizard to come from any direction.

The children who had been sequestered in the bathroom were red in the face from heat stroke, but the hiccupping cries at least meant they were alive. However, even with Lloyd's efforts, new heat was still pouring into the room from an unknown location. At least with the door open, the kids weren't baking.
The girl twitched slightly when Allistar began to pick her up. Her eyes opened half way, her pupils dilated. She was in shock. The girl was unable to lift her head but she tensed her hands, trying to pull her legs under her to support at least some of her weight to aid her rescuer. While doing so, she made a raspy sound, that should she have been in better condition, would have said 'thank you.' At least for now, with adrenaline pumping through her veins, she was alive.
Lloyd had made a grave mistake in opening the bathroom door, though. Seeing the children there, the imp realized who his next host would be and sidled into position. With Allistar burdened by the girl and Llyod wind-milling his arms, it would be nigh impossible to stop the lizard as it charged the bathroom. If it wasn't stopped, the 5 year old boy nearest the door would be consumed.
