I miss it also. However, I will admit there were a lot of changes that needed to be made to it in order for it to be perfect. I do think it will return because if you do the battle pets here, you sometimes get Zomg things.
True, that would be nice if zomg came back.
smile If you could make changes to zOMG, what changes would you make?
The first thing I would change is not to create it until I had a complete storyline. Like, once the whole Bloodlines thing is done and we find out what happens to Gino Gambino.
Once the story-line is set, next I would find a way to make it so that Gaians can re-live that story. So, story has to be finished first, then it has to be made interactive.
If we are to use rings and orbs and items, then all three must be developed so that it works throughout the story. See, I believe that this game idea that Lanzer had was too big for the site, but not so big that it could be a separate game much like how the World of Warcraft is.
The World of Warcraft owned by Blizzard has a site called wowhead specifically for threads like what we are doing here for zOMG. Its a site where people can discuss game updates, strategies, tips, tricks, and that sort of thing. Whereas the game itself is like how zOMG would be.
So, the game would be called zOMG a Gaiaonline MMORPG. And likely will not be free for all, but would be to those who are members of Gaiaonline.
See, in that sense, we become like the wowhead team of zOMG. It would be up to us Gaians who have played the game to find strategies and stuff like that.
Anyway, that's only one thing I would do.
