I've always heard it called a vibraPHONE. But yeah. Lots of us here play it.

I mean as your main instrument. And there was no need to be a p***k. It's possible for an instrument to have more than one name.

i have a vibe part on some of our festival music for symphonic band this year. i love the sound you can get out of them. I officially need your address so i can stalk you and steal your vibes... ok, maybe not. sweatdrop (if you want something really great, try scraping the end of the bars with a violin bow.)

I've also only ever heard of it called a Vibrphone I play all the mallet instruments but there is a speciall place in my heart for the Vibraphone it's the only one I can play in Jazz Band. It's also the only instrument I get to do Improve solo's on. It is so much more difficult with getting the pedal right. Now I can't hardly play set not that I could to begin with because my foot is used to working with my hands instead of playing an independently. Plus you actually get to hold out your notes. bye the way I'm also going to steal you instrument my schools actually has a wooden frame and as seems to be a common problem the motor no longer works.

Hm.. I like that name better than vibraphone <.<'' It's harder to say, but oh well.

It's my main instrument, too^^ I don't like playing any of the others. I would buy one if I had the money and space, but nope..
We used a violin bow, too, although a cello bow would probably be stronger. Hm..^^

Not to offend, but i've also never heard it called a vibaharp either. It was my main instrumants on this year's marching show, and for our winterline show it's my only instrument... other than the auxillary stuff that'll be mounted to my board. I really like te vibes (they're fun to play with), but i'm deffinatly a marimba girl. heart I i could own a marimba... omg, i'd die.

Oh, how I love the vibraharp.
The best instrument on the planet when it comes to percussion.
Plus it's shiny...oooh, shiny.
How much do they cost, anyway?
