So. I friggin' love these two items, especially the wings.
What are your predictions for them as a long-term hoard? (Talking 1-3 years here.)

A LOT of people should have them, it's not that hard to beat the bosses, So it might not be that much of an investment, because so many people will be selling them, or own them. o.o Then again, if their in high demand and not many people have them, there is a little shot you have. I'd think you would have to hold onto these for quite a while to make a profit out of them..

Ive grabbed up a few of the wings people have listed for 25g throughout this evening. I think they are cute. Im keeping my jacket as well. Doesn't hurt to grab them up while they are cheap.

@xxTechWolFxx: Hmm.... I might consider starting a hoard on that one, too. I'm not quite sure about it though - I'm not loving it the way I am the other two, and I usually only hoard items I'd be willing to buy later on. XD
@Victoria Neru: Yeah, but it's only one item per person - you can't re-beat the bosses. Believe me, I tried. The only people who'll have more than one are those that a)have lots of mules, and/or b)bought tons of them at cheap prices over the course of the next few days. Like the ghost cape a year (or was it two?) ago - I bought around 70 of them for around 250g each, they're now selling for around 35k each. And I am planning on holding onto them for awhile. Say, 1-3 years.

Wings: I'm seeing a lot of people either completely loving them or absolutely hating them, there doesn't to be much of a middle ground for this item. That being said these are very versatile items, they might have come out around Halloween but I can also see people using them for other holidays and even everyday use they will likely jet up in price once they are no longer released. They will definitely be a long term hoard so you have the right idea to pick them up and forget about them for a year or two.
Spectral Shroud: This item is nicely pixilated and appear to be well received by the Gaian Community, again a long term hoard that will need to be put away for a year or two but I can see this item doing fairly well in the long run.

Is he talking about that potato item? I really like the potato item because it have different holding poses. And they change into different foods that are potato related. :3 nomnomnom
Anywho, I think they will be good investments, so I played it on my mule. xD

The more non-specific the event item, the more likely it is to do well in the long-term. I stupidly invested in BOO and SIN robes last Halloween and lesson learned. I reckon the cape, wings and umbrella will do pretty well. Especially since they're black.

I've noticed the potential value of the spectral shroud as well.
If someone were to hoard the item, when would be the best time to buy them?
Now, since they're just being released and anyone can attain one?
Later, until after the season with the possibility of the majority of inventory being bought?
