Ah, I've played a lot of gimmicky ones. Mario Kart in particular. I've played Need for Speed, Burnout, Sonic and Sega Superstars Racing (or something like that). If I had to pick a favorite, Mario Kart wins. I've played it ever since I was a kid.

NFS Most Wanted would be my choice. When it first came out (bought it for PS2 and Game cube) I stayed up 3 straight days playing it.

Well I gotta it's ModNation Racers, but there was something surprisingly fun about Mad Dash for the original Xbox that I had way back when. You just can't beat violent cartoon foot races.

Sombrale I like Mario Kart. And does Kirby Air Ride count ? sure it does if its racing or anything to do with driving ^^

nfs games are best. i played nfs underground one and 2 and nfs carbon, all great games.
I think mario kart 64 is awsome mainly because its always fun with friends.
At the moment i am playing R racing Evolution and its alright a bit boring though and extremly long! i past the whole story mode and some other parts and it says im still around 32 percent finished.

Sumo PAWNCH F-Zero Series, best music ever in a vidya game I totally forgot about the f zero game. haha and thats true very fun to play.

Mario Kart! As was mentioned earlier, nothing like hurling a shell at an unsuspecting motorist. Particularly in the newer iterations such as Mario Kart Wii with the addition of even more power-ups and bikes, I think that one is my favorite. Let the madness ensue.
I've played Need for Speed, which is also pretty good. I'm not sure which one it was, but it was a relatively old one in the series, for the PS2. I've also played Burnout Paradise, which I liked a lot. I love my tiny little speed demon. Heheh.
