The school was abuzz with talk about the upcoming Battle of the Bands. In fact, there was so much of it that Tess felt it rivalled that of the Moonlight Masquerade, which had a Singles Board to its name! Or even that of the Student Council Campaign period! The manananggal couldn't help but fiddle with the buttons she still wore on her blouse, results hadn't been announced yet, even if she'd already cast her vote. She hoped the students she voted for would win, though she felt a tiny bit torn about some of the candidates.
When her sight lingered on one of the campaign posters, she nearly flew into one of the candidates she would have wanted to vote for as well. (Clearly, this was why Tess opted to be the manager of the FF rather than vice-captain, how would it look if she kept flying into someone after all.) "O-oh! Lizzy! S-sorry, I didn't notice you there!" she gasped, her hands instinctively covering her mouth, unintentionally muffling her apology, which she realized eventually and repeated again. "S-sorry, I was just distracted about-" Don't mention the elections, don't mention the elections, for Jack's sake, Tess, DON'T MENTION THE ELECTIONS! "-the battle of the bands!" Good save. "Have you heard of it?"

There had been several issues on her mind lately, and while it wasn't stressing her out, it was causing her to space out even more than usual. First, there was the Student Council Elections - she had heard that the results would be announced any day now, and it was making her both nervous and excited at the same time... Even if she lose, she had a feeling that having G as Treasurer would be just as awesome as winning! Then, there was homework; joining most of the available classes was starting to cause her to be busier than before. Sure, she was having fun, but she needs some time off to work on her own projects!
She stroked her chin, frowning a little as she thought about which classes to drop; they were all interesting, and it was important for her to increase her knowledge... Giving a mental shrug, Lizzy giggled softly to herself; things will sort themselves out! She was sure of it! Looking up, she noticed a most familiar face coming in her direction. Instinctively, she quickened her pace.
"Hi Tess- O-oh!" She took a few steps back, nearly colliding with the other ghoul before shaking her head, waving a hand dismissively in the air, "No need to say sorry! We're both fine, after all!"
She then paused, nodding her head slowly as she replied, "Well... Yeah, I did... Why? Oh! Are you forming a band, Tess?" She sounded a little excited as she wondered what sort of songs Tess' band might be playing, the excitement rather obvious on her face.
