This is the market street. Even in this dark time, this place is still active. You can find all kinds of things here from weapons to rare gems. Behind the market street is the Mages Guild. A lot of the places are run down, but still making money. Some owners force children to work for free labor or half pay.

Ȼarissa ζalian  Carissa had left the town which was rich and decided to head on to see the other cities. She traveled into this heavily guarded city. She found her way to the market, and by that time she needed to refresh and get some supplies to continue on without starving to death. "Yes please, can I have that bread. Yes the one right there. Oh, and some of that jerky." She said to one of the street vendors. For this city, it was a little surprising that the market was still up and active, with people walking through and buying things. She took the items from the man and placed them inside a bag slung across her shoulder. "Thank you." She said with a nod, then turned to window shop a bit, deciding if she should buy something to trade at the next market she comes to. She started slightly humming to herself, looking around. She was a good fighter, but she did love to have fun. She couldn't always be cold. It wouldn't be fun for her. But if she had to, well of course she would.

╚═══════════════╝  Selena stepped through the market, bored but knowing that ecentually, the shopping would have to be done. This area was known for it's cheap prices, making it a good place for light shopping. She moved from stall to stall, collecting certain spices and fruits. After positioning the items in her bag she continued stepping, calculating mentally how much more she should spend. She was so engrossed in thought, that she didn't even realize that she was going to run into a blue haired girl until it was too late. {ooc: n/a}

Ȼarissa ζalian Carissa had been looking at her feet while walking, trying to decide if she should buy some new shoes for her next travel. Then all of a sudden bam, it hit her, literary. The elven girl fell to the ground while her bag spilled out its continents. Food, water, bows, a couple of daggers. She muttered a curse and quickly shuffled to pull everything into her bag. She would have to deal with dirt on her bread for now. Only until everything was back in her bag safely over her should did she take a moment to look at the person who ran into her. Although the blue haired girl was partly at fault too. She took a moment to look over the girl, she wasn't bad looking at all. She was bisexual after all. "Oh I'm sorry miss. I was looking at my feet."

╚═══════════════╝ Selena looked down, snapping out of her thoughts as she felt contact against another being. Her eyes widened as she immediately dropped to a knee to help collect the fallen items. As they stood she nodded to the girl's apology, and admitted her own. "I'm sorry as well, I guess I was thinking too hard." She glanced at her bag, surprised to find it still perfectly in tact. She glanced to the young women again, going on politely. "I'm Selena by the way. Selena Veranda. In case I need to replace anything."

Ȼarissa ζalian Carissa stood up once everything was back in place. Guess she wasn't the only one who was at fault here. That was a good thing to know. 'Well, the next thing I need to find is a way to secure this bag closed then.' She thought with a mental roll of the eyes. Selena huh? Pretty name, but she was sure she wouldn't be needing to replace anything. When they were both standing she was actually taller than this girl. Which was a little surprising, seeing as how this girl looked a couple years older than her. "Carissa Lalian. But I think everything is fine. Thanks though." She was said with a smile. She was about to continue on her way when her eyes blinked and she stopped to look back at Selena. "Oh, have we met before? You look familiar." Of course she could of seen the girl at a different market or something.

╚═══════════════╝ Selena glanced up, looking at the girl in front of her. She had to keep off a sigh, seeing as she was actually shorter than her fellow elf. Truly, that was the one thing Selena was insecure about, her hieght. She was one of the shortest elves she knew, and had always struggled to prove her strength in other ways. She snapped out of her thoughts as Carissa asked a question, causing her to look over the blue-haired girl. Yet, nothing seemed so familiar as to recognize at the moment, prompting a polite, "No, I don't beleive so...but who knows? There don't seem to be as many elves these days so the chances are likely."

Ҫarissa ζalian Carissa nodded. Her explanation did seem reasonable enough. If anything the blue haired elm might of just seen Selena in another marketplace, or just walking by. Nothing was impossible at the moment. "Your right. They are starting to thin out more and more. Sad really." She said biting her lip. It seemed that demons were becoming more powerful with each ticking minute. And all the other races where getting fewer and fewer. She hadn't even seen a dwarf in a long while. And this was probably one of the first elves she's seen in a couple of days. Which was a lot, thinking about how many there were before. She would probably have to go home at some point soon. It's been like a month from when she last left. And her mother tended to worry quite a lot.

╚═══════════════╝ Selena nodded with the girl's words, as it truly was a sad occurance. It seemed as if humans and demons made up the population of Elleria, causing the elven women to think about leaving the land multiple times. Yet, she never found it in her heart to go, always finding some excuse to stay. "It makes me wonder what will be in a few decades..." She left her down and depressing thoughts in the back of her mind, choosing instead to get on with her chores. "Well, it was nice meeting you, although I'm sorry it had to happen because of the circumstances." She laughed off the second half of her sentence, hoping to keep the air light and friendly.

Ҫarissa ζalian Carissa let her mind start to wander thinking about the future. But then mentally shook her head. Who knows if she would even be alive in a few decades, and anyways it would occupy her time with bad thoughts while she continued on her way to who knows where. 'Oh yes, nice to meet you. Hopefully, maybe, probably not, see you later." This land was fairly big, so it might be hard to just suddenly stumble across her again. If they do, then fate has something in for them... Good or bad. She gave a slight wave before stepping to the side of the red headed girl and continuing on her little hunt in the market. Maybe she would make her trip to that dwarf city she's been hearing a lot about lately.

 Taemus the Beautiful Taemus was walking the market streets Seeing the strange blue haired lady she looked moderately wealthy, he positioned himself so that he could walk right infront of her. Look her in the eyes and at that moment snatch her money bag while she was too focussed on him.

Ҫarissa ζalian Carissa walked only a few steps before getting stopped again from a pretty blonde man. Well okay, maybe a little too much socializing with people other then vendors. When he stopped he didn't talk, just stared into her eyes while she looked back into his teal beautiful eyes. Then a weight was lifted from her waist and she immediately narrowed her own eyes. And her leg jutted out to knock him off his balance. He was a little right. She wasn't dirt poor. She had gathered up some of her coins from tournaments, betting (bad idea), and being pretty smart on how to spend things. And also how to defend herself. Well she would just have to see how she and this man played out. He was bigger than her, but she might be able to use agility to her advantage. "Pretty scumbag boy." She muttered under he breath.

Taemus the Beautiful As the girl atempted to kick Taemus he did the most unusual and awkward looking dodge ever performed by a being twisting his body keeping his feet planted and moving his body around her kick using his agility to his advantage keeping the coin purse in his hands. "The dance of the Autumn Poplar as I call it" As he continued his strange dance he went for the side of the wall of the market to get away in hopes he could give to the poor orphan children tonight. (you cannot stop someone he steals for good reasons D: plus tentative step and martial dance razz )

Ҫarissa ζalian Carissa watched as he quickly dodged her kick and started this odd but entrancing dance. She didn't know what he was up to and just stood there like an idiot watching him dance away with her money. She crossed her arms watching him go to the wall. "You don't look poor yourself. Why steal my money and make me go hungry?" She called out to the man. This didn't seem to unusual to the people who lived here, they obviously didn't find these two making a scene and continued shopping or what not. She still stood, not sure if she should go after him or just keep walking. He defiantly was agile, bigger than her, and had strange dances. So it just seemed like she was screwed. Maybe she would just have to use the old fashion way of hunting. And she tried not to steal, for whatever reason. {OOC~ Well she doesn't know that! He could be stealing to feed his drug addictions for all she knows. ;P}

Taemus the Beautiful As he got to the wall and scaled part way he called down to the woman, "Better you then the wartorn orphans who can't make any money." Then with that he continued to climb up the wall and make his escape before a guard could even see him.
