No iPod? gonk
Then I'd suggest you get the 4th Gen...or you could always just get an iPhone.
But then again, it really depends on what you use more on a daily basis. Would you listen to music alot more often then playing video games or vice-versa?

Would you listen to music alot more often then playing video games or vice-versa? well first off i'm always bored in school and have nothing to do. and yeah i play most games better when i listen to music (well except rpg's). i do play a lot of games but i know i can't afford $300 for an ipod. yet i can afford $60 for a game every once and a while...hmm i think you might have jst answered my question...thanks xD

I would go with the iPod because you will end up using it more often, it's small and convenient. But what your going to have to consider is buying all of the music and games. Of course you could just use lime wire or whatever for the music, but the apps cost anywhere from $0.99-5.00 on average. The really good apps cost more money, and the free ones are cheap and include a lot of advertisements. You'll probably end up spending $30 on apps, but then again that's cheaper than a $60 video game.

Well, seeing as how limewiring music is already considered illegal, might as well jailbreak the iPod when it becomes available. Blam every freaking thing will be free. You just lose your warranty. You drop it and break it, game over. But then again, most everyone gets a protective shell cover for it now, so good luck trying to break it accidentally.

And I should have around $50 to go towards other apps so I can download a bunch of games (Robot Unicorn Attack!) Once my warranty is up I might Jailbreak it but I'm not sure.
