"Oh god, what a pain in the a**." Val muttered, as she walked along the side walk. It was almost pitch-dark, except for the lamp light that filtered through the dark. She hated to walk in the dark, especially in such a cold night like this.
Dressed in winter coat, black skin leggings, and brown boots, she wasn't nearly as cold as she would have been dressed in her Negaverse uniform.
"Huh, maybe I'll skip patrol tonight." She drawled, her bored eyes trailing off into the distance. Hand tangled in her hair, she rubbed the back of her head with a frustrated sigh. She didn't particularly care for the Queen's wrath but than again..
She didn't particularly care for the cold either.

Sass was out patrolling, she knew her job and sine being promoted to captain she was taking it more seriously then before. She didn't tend to wander much while patrolling it generally took her to standing outside clubs, flirting a bit, stealing a star seed, getting rid of said body and starting again. Today though she was moving, she was cold. She had at last found a reason as to why a short dress wasn't a good idea for a uniform.
It was the sound of someone apparently talking to themselves that caught her attention. She had been in an alleyway trying to find a way to keep herself warm when she had heard the voice walking past. She recognised it and it brought a rather wicked smile to her face.
She left the alley suddenly not that bothered about the cold.
"Skipping patrols are we?" Sass smiled as she looked at Val. She envied her somewhat for wearing a nice warm coat but it wasn't her kind of coat. Sass would want something more stylish and expensive but then that was always the case with her.

Her eyes met with Sassolite. Ah, yet another lieutenant who had been recently promoted to the "grand" status of captain. With promotions being thrown around left and right these days, it was easy to get lost within the ranks.
Her cold eyes met Sass's own, indifferent to her wicked smile. In reply to the girl's statement, "And what business is it of yours?" She said, with a toss of her hair continuing along her way. Despite Sass being her superior, Val had no obligation to anyone but her own captain. As for Sass, they were merely comrades on the same side; nothing less and nothing more.
"Sassolite.. Or Skye, was it? What do you want?"
More than a little annoyed to have been caught, she simply wanted to get this over with. Because when she did, she'd be able to get home and sleep.

"Well I personally don't care in the slightest what you do or don't do... however I won't pass up a chance to see the queen dismiss a lousy lieutenant who isn't doing her job." Sass answered all the girls questions right there. She wanted trouble, Sass loved trouble and she was in the position to dish some out. Ah the rank of captain, she was starting to like it a little more.
Sass ignored the fact that she had been called by her real name though she wished to hit the girl pretty hard. There seemed to be not many about, possibly the odd straggler but she was sure no one had heard her or them. If she thought otherwise they would have been dead by now.
"So how many starseeds are you presenting to the queen tonight then?" Yep she was going to push it and push it. She probably didn't have much right pushing another captains lieutenant but she didn't care. She hadn't learnt much of the niceties that Serandite had shown her when she had worked under her roommate.

The soft click of heels on the pavement stopped. Looking over her shoulder, "Eh~ If that was the case, the queen would have dismissed me long ago."
Sass would have to try harder than that, if she meant to be of any threat. They both knew that the queen had bigger issues to pay attention to, than the dismissal of a small-time lieutenant.
It was obvious that she wanted to stir up some trouble, and as a captain, she thought it her right to do so. "Kind of pisses me off." Val thought to herself with a frown. Though her vexation not nearly as severe as Sass's. Noting the other girl's chagrin at being called Skye, she chuckled. She had done it only to annoy the poor girl. She wasn't stupid enough to reveal a captain's alter-identity to any stranger or senshi who may or may not have been lurking around.
"Tonight? Hmmm." She pretended to take her words into consideration, "Who knows. Maybe your a** on a platter will do."

A fight would be more then welcomed right now and Sass couldn't help but laugh.
"As if you could do that. Talk about wishful thinking... though go ahead and try." She then summoned her weapon, she very rarely carried around her bow and arrow, after all it's not the most subtle of weapons but one she loved all the same.
"Still think you could have my a** on a platter?" Oh yes Sass was up herself but then it was just how she had grown up. Since being promoted there was no doubt that Sass had a large ego boost. She was sure that there wouldn't be a fight after all it's not like Sass could loose! Oh what an ego she had.

"And what if I did?" She said, her outfit fading away to reveal the Negaverse officer beneath.
Despite their difference in rank, there was a difference in their experience.
Though Sassolite had already summoned her weapon, Val made absolutely no move to do so. With her weapon, she'd actually hate to seriously hurt the other girl. At least, for now. Without warning, she lunged forward with her fist raised aimed to hit the other girl's cheek. "Don't tell me you can't handle a mere lieutenant without some help?" She said, clearly taunting on the other girl.
"You're a captain right? You should be able to handle this, easy."

Damn the b***h.
Sass had a great weapon for distance but it was the worst possible thing for close combat. She soon sent it back again as she decided she didn't want to waste an arrow trying to stab her.
The punch from the girl had been a hard one and Sass was aware rather quickly that it would bruise and that just annoyed her even more. She loved her face, she loved her body, after all she was gorgeous and this b***h had just ruined it, if only for a short amount of time! Still that would mean more make-up then normal and Sass was not happy about that.
Sass went for her, a fist heading to the girls face quickly followed by a kick, heading somewhere. She wasn't bothered where it hit as long as she got the girl somewhere. Next however would be the hair... yes she was in need of some good hair pulling, that would teach the b***h a lesson or two if she lost so much hair!

Val easily saw the punch coming. After all, who wouldn't want to retaliate?
But as soon as she avoided the punch, the kick to her stomach sent her staggering backwards. Her hat was thrown to the ground rolling down the street a few feet. The impact wasn't enough to make her fall, but in feigned frailty she dropped to her knees."Is that all you got?" She continued to taunt, as a distraction to get the girl further riled up.
She could see the anger within the Sass's eyes, the sight of it was simply too amusing.
It appeared as if Val had left her guard down to the captain.. But without a warning, a curved leg shot out to trip the other girl and rob her of her balance.

Maybe Sass was too weary of fighting others, especially some of those senshi. She may not have seen the punch coming but she was perfectly aware that this lieutenant wasn't going to sit and play nice. As she moved Sass moved and jumped cleanly over the top of her.
"Amateur. Even the senshi could do better then that."
She turned around again to face Val and just smiled. She decided not to attack, she was sure that Val would. After all she wasn't going to let news get to the queen that Sass was starting fights with the Lieutenants. She would defend herself and make sure the b***h payed but she wouldn't hit first.
"Tired already are we? Your captain must be slacking with your training." Sass didn't know who her captain was but as Sass wasn't exactly popular in the negaverse she wasn't bothered who she insulted.

"You may insult me, but do no insult my captain." Her eyes fairly glowed with anger, as her fists stiffened by her sides.
She could barely resist the urge to kill the other girl.. the bitter taste of blood in her mouth a reflection of her suppressed anger. But if she killed her now, the queen would certainly not be pleased to find out her lieutenants had killed each other over a minor spat.
Killing may not have been an option, but there were others.
She lunged for the other girl, not as a negaverse agent.. but as a girl would when running to the defense of her friend. Together they went rolling to the ground as Val aimed to land a few punches to the Sass's "pretty" little face.
Struggling to pin down the captain, "Why don't I shut you up for good, hm?" She fairly hissed.

Sass hardly cared who she was insulting, in fact she never cared who she was insulting and she didn't even know who this girls captain was.
"aww fancy your captain do ya?" She would have said something else but the lieutenant seemed to fly at her and knock her over. Apparently the time for talking had finished and they were now trying to kill each other, or at least one seemed to be trying to kill the other. Sass wasn't stupid she wouldn't seriously hurt the lieutenant, she didn't want to feel their queens wrath.
So as she moved her head to avoid the punches to her face she moved so that she could grab a handful of the lieutenants hair and pull. It helped being in a tangled mess but it was hard to block the punches and get a grip on the girls hair.
Bloody lieutenants, why did they always think they were better then anyone else...

Sassolite forgot that she had been a lieutenant once too, and a younger one at that.
As Sass avoided the punches to her faced, Val aimed a vicious punch to her stomach that she couldn't avoid, especially with their bodies in a tangled mess. She felt a painful jerk from her scalp, but she bit back a cry. There was hair-pulling, kicking, scratching and more; wounds that would mar her body for weeks after but her pain did not matter so long as she beat the captain down to a bloody mess.
Her anger was irrational, she had over-reacted.. but "fancy" wasn't enough to describe her respect, admiration, and love for her mentor.
This battle would have continued on for much longer if the brawl had not attracted the attention of some bystanders.
Passing by in a car, "Hey, what are you girls doing?!" yelled a policeman, as he hastily exited the car, Pushing the two girls apart, another man was forced to hold Val back. Incognizant of the fact that they were both Negaverse agents, the strangers merely assumed them to be normal girls. After all, without weapons or fukus.. weren't they simply just normal girls? Or so, it seemingly appeared.
"What about your parents? It's forbidden for teenagers to be out late, or haven't you heard about the recent terrorists?!"
(Can make Sass have her escape, somehow? cool )

The punch to the stomach wasn't welcome in the slightest and led to more of the general b***h fight scenario. This wasn't what one would normally expect a negaverse fight to be but then they were also two girls.
Sass heard the policeman but it was a little too late, he was there prying them both apart. She was bleeding in places from scratches she had received, nothing major but enough to keep her wanting to attack the other girl.
Sass just turned to the policeman and laughed.
"We are the terrorists. Stupid idiot." She didn't hang about though. It would have been stupid to try and get anything from him the fight had drawn attention and she had noticed the curtains twitching of a few near by houses.
"We aren't finished." It was obvious who she was talking to before she darted off. It didn't take her long to be out the area which was something of a relief to her. She had to get back to her dorm and sort her hair out and all these scratches.

Val's eyes narrowed to a glare, in silent response to the girl's challenge.
Using the back of her hand to wipe the blood away at the corner of her mouth, Val was forced to face the astonishment of the police officers'. What a stupid move that had been for Sass to acknowledge such a fact, and in such a public manner as well.
"Tch." She scowled. Taking advantage of the moment, she was quick to make a run for it.
One was quick to recover and run after her with his gun, "Hey, wait. Come back!" He yelled, his voice fading away into the night as the running figure diminished quickly in the distance. The police were slow to act, as they sped after her in the police car. Sirens wailing, they attempted to pursue both negaverse officers but to no avail. Both girls were long gone, by now.
Varete returned to her bedroom, paying no heed to the faint sound of sirens in the distance.
