Personality : Dashiell seems like a typical introvert who spends all his time cooped up in either his room or a library, drowning in books. He doesn't speak very much, and he doesn't have a lot (or probably any) friends. Dashiell doesn't like to be bothered, and isn't looking to be either; he'll quickly shoo away or avoid anyone trying to get into his business.
He isn't necessarily introverted and not at all shy, he's simply caught up in his own work too much to care about anything else. If he has to, he'll say exactly what's on his mind, which more often than not it isn't anything nice. There are occasions where Dashiell will feel like socializing, especially if the person is interested in his research, but he never forms bonds with the people he meets.
Because Dashiell has the ability to see people's lifelines, it upsets him, and has in a small way driven him mad. It's the main reason he will not form friendships, and why he's constantly locking himself away. The less he has to see them, the better.
