(Ahaha yeah I'm bored)

It was stupid he knew, but something he nonetheless couldn't help himself too. It was early, then. The house was quite and unsettling, for everyone else was either asleep or still confined to the safety of their rooms, for which none would bother them. He was the first to venture out, and, found himself alone.
It was drizzling then. The sky, as he cared to reflect on every morning before making his rounds, was a light gray hue. It was not dark, not tremendously stormy looking, just light as if illuminated by an angles glow. Soft drops of water gently kissed the earth which created a light thrum against the window, a symphony his ears cared to hear, and quite a delight to satisfy his sleep ridden mood.
But that was earlier. The house had come to life and the rain hadn't let up, although it had not worsened either, so he decided to chance taking a stroll down to the shop. He never did mind getting wet really, quite the contrary, it was nice to feel. It was cold outside, yes, but that wasn't going to stop him, and besides, he had a thick coat of fur to guard him from the prevailing late autumn winds.
Normally he would of gotten there sooner if not for the cloudy sun-kissed sky growing dark with a rather eerie feel. The rain had stopped, but the blackening clouds was unsettling, and as such he quickened his pace.
He wasn't fast enough though, and, just his luck, did he find himself suddenly caught in a downpour. Thankfully his destination was in sight when it all happened, so he made it inside before the rain let down harder.
To late though. He was drenched and his fur stuck to his skin. He shook himself before going inside, but water sill clung to him effortlessly. Not only that, he realized, but the shop was seemingly empty. He'd come here for not.
Sighing, he settled by the fireplace in hopes the warmth would wash away the frozen feeling that had slowly began to creep in. He supposed he would stay for a bit, rest up and wait for the rain to settle before heading home, much to his disappointment...
"What a waste..." he murmured sadly to himself.
