"Oh? A collab with another idol? On an anime song? In English?" Two-inch heels clicked along the tiled floor as Miyabi was directed down the hallway. Her spill of curls were held back with a length of ribbon and bounced gently. Today was a work day, which meant she wore her trademark company-designed combee dress rather than full-out Lolita. To her right was her manager, a somewhat lanky twenty-some-year-old gijinka. He had a nervous energy about him that was indicative of excitement, and kept referring to his watch even as they approached their destination.
"Yes, yes - it's the company's idea to boost your popularity with another well-known idol, and together you can reach the American audiences as well. Wait and see who they've chosen - you'll be pleased," With that, he turned the handle and motioned her into the conference room. Miya blinked. Reclining on a economic-style chair was a figure clad in layers of pink. The distinctive clefairy ears caught her immediate attention.
"Star Fukushima?" She recognized her, of course. A fellow company idol, an established one with many fans to her name. One she had never had the chance to meet face-to-face, until now.
"Every dreaming girl is a princess...

I am a SHINING ... ★ S t a r  ...rare and untouched. The pink haired pop star sat in an economic styled chair. Reclining comfortably as she waited for her partner and her manager to arrive in the room. Star was a bit excited to do a duet with some other idol to an Anime song. A song that belonged to one of her most favorite anime series. The clefairy kicked her feet back and forth, impatient as to see her duet partner. It would be quite interesting to have a duet with someone. She hadn't done a duet in a long time. Star's deep blue eyes wandered the office. The desk clock that rested near the Apple Computer ticked. She grew slightly nervous. What if her partner didn't like her? What if she was mean and selfish? What if she was a diva? Hopefully, she wasn't. Butterfrees were all a flutter as she awaited for her partner. Her manager described her as an idol but wasn't very well known. She went by the name Miyabi, but her stage name was Miyabee. Which made her giggle at the name. It sounded cute and she liked it.
Then, she heard a muffled voice behind the door of the office and she turned her body to the door. Her ocean eyes watched as the metallic handle turned and the door opened. Stepped to the side against the door, was her manager. A charizard gijinka in his mid twenties. Beside him was a girl with golden locks and a black ribbon through her golden hair. Then, the girl, who she presumed was Miyabi, said her name. So the combee knew who she was? Star closed her eyes and gave her a sweet, friendly smile. "Hi!" she greeted sweetly as she rose from her seat, "You must be Miyabi." Extended her small hand to her, she waited to shake her hand. Obviously, she didn't need to introduce herself, since this girl already knew.

Although Miya had her favorites, she wasn't the screaming fangirl type. Thankfully. She had her status to think about to. Her image as an elegant, sweetly-spoiled princess was only true half the time; she was quite sociable when it came to people and not audiences. Thus she proceeded to treat Star as she would any person she found interesting.
"Haii! Hachimitsu Miyabi desu, although you can call me Miya. I'm an 18-year-old Leo! It's good for performers, you know. I really like your style~" Her handshake was more like flinging Star's hand like a lever. Her own amber gaze was flicking all over Star's outfit, "So pink! I like that twist on Wa-Loli, it's modernly fashionable. Sleeves and ribbons are always the most fun, I don't have as much Wa outfits at home, I do mainly Hime you see. But it's quite creative, you definitely get my approval!"
Having run out of that train of speech, she jumped into another, "Oh, so you're singing with me? That's sure to be fuun, I haven't done as much actual song-releasing as you but I'm more known in anime at any rate. Are we going to get a cute PV? Dance? Can we promote the CDs at malls? I can't wait to see the outfits!"
Trying to mediate between the two, the manager only succeeded in becoming the next victim of her urge to shake things.
"You see, she's a bit excitable, but honestly she's a good person. I'm sure you two will do fine, providing you agree to it?" All the while the charizard's arm was being jerked back and forth, which ruined the effect of calmness, "The company is planning promotions, but not large-scale at first. It's geared toward both of your introductions into the American animation business, and afterwards we'll be focusing on your next album."

I am a SHINING ... ★ S t a r ...rare and untouched. The clefairy smiled at the combee. She giggled at the girl's introduction. "I like your name! It's so cute! I am a 19-year-old GEMINI!" she said with the same excitement as Miya. She gave a peace sign with her two fingers and winked to the blond. Star smiled happily as she complimented her outfit. Taking notice of the Wa-Lolita look and all the pink. Then, she began to compliment her. She decided to compliment her outfit. "I just love your style too! It's so adorable and pretty! Reminds me of a bee hive. And HONEY! I just love your style. You get an A+ in my book!" she replied, giving her a thumbs up. Her voice matched her partner's. Star noticed the jump in conversation. She nodded. "Yup! I'mma be singing with you! It's going to be awesome!!! I am very excited. I haven't had a duet in a while. And it was sorta dull. But I know for sure that this is going to be spectacular!" she giggled.
"I was just thinking that! And if this goes well, maybe you can go on tour with me to promote my album!!! I can also have Tamaki make you your Album so you can promote it too!" Ideas were flying in her head. "Maybe we can do Loli outfits and we can get my choreographer to teach us some dance moves. OH! AND A MUSIC VIDEO! That would be soooooo cool!" her voice trailed as she continued to speak her ideas and thoughts to her partner. Then, she hushed as her manager began to speak. She giggled and flapped her hand in a forget-about-it-movement. "It's okay! I am excited too! I am sure we will do great!" she exclaimed. She nodded to his talk of the company. "KAYKAY!"
Turning to Miyabi she smiled widely. "Sooooo....we can also do a music video. With Hot boys in it!!!" she mentioned. Hot boys....oh man. That would suit the song perfectly! Star smiled at her partner and giggled. "We are going to be great friends!" she exclaimed. She just knew it. They were so much a like. Star needed some friends in the music business. So she could hang out with them and sing with them.

From her enthusiasm, Star appeared to be on the same wavelength as Miya. She jumped right into the action as well.
"Thanks, I specialize in lolita fashions, although I love costumes in general. I bet our outfits will be a bit based on Ouran High School's, except more dressy of course," In her mind, she was already envisioning how the frills and folds of the new costumes would fit. Would they have cute accessories too? It would have to be matching orange and pink, of course, like starbursts candy, "This is my first time singing in English, so I'll be super-genki! I've never had large-scale concerts like you, so that'll be fun. Ehee, the guys could be pampering us like proper hosts~ Let's work well together. Please take care of meee," She bowed as she said the traditional phrase. Star was still the older girl and the one with the most experience, her sempai in the company.
The manager smiled at their exchange. They certainly hit it off well, and it would be easier to work with a friendly atmosphere than a competitive one, "Let's not get too ahead of ourselves here, although I applaud your energy," He laughed, "For now, let's head for some outfit fittings and on the way we can work out some general details on the MV shoot and the album."
As they left the room and headed for the styling center, he started explaining, "The decision for the MV is to have a image similar to the anime. The two of you will have an elegant, rich-girl image but also an innocent one. Since the song is about love, you'll be looking excited and dreamy. We're also including a few solo songs as sidetracks in the album, so look forward to that. As for hot guys," Here he raised his eyes, "It isn't definitive, but we'll bring it up next discussion. In any case, it'll be shot in a prestigious school setting and have a motif of roses. Both of you will record in two days' time."
They reached the room where a couple of helpers stood by. "All right girls, let's get dressed! We'll be doing some preliminary shooting today with a simple background." He left them there. Two costumes were displayed on manikins, based slightly on the Ouran girl's school uniform but touched up in Lolita styles, a bit of Wa and Hime for their respective images. It was made with lots of lace and bows in their signature colors. The workers motioned them forward to go into the dressing rooms.

I am a SHINING ... ★ S t a r ...rare and untouched. The clefairy smiled at the combee. They shared the same wavelength. Which was a first for her. As Miyabi explained her hypothesis on their outfits and she smiled. "That would be so cool! Ouran High School Host Club is one of my favorite anime!" she exclaimed. She giggled cutely. She could picture them in the female Ouran uniforms. Decorated and altered to their style. Wa and Hime lolita. She smiled at her friend and giggled. "Don't worry! Singing in English is easy!" she encouraged, "HAHA! I have several fan boys too! You will have a lot too!" Star smiled as she heard her phrase and watched her bow. She smiled and dipped her head in response. Being big in the music industry, she was the sempai. Turning to their shared manager, she smiled happily. "Okie dokie, Razzy!" she giggled as she said his nickname. Raziel, their manager, blushed shyly at the nickname. He had a small crush on her and she would sometimes tease him about it.
Star giggled and nodded. "Okie dokie! I like it! Let's get shooting!" she exclaimed. The clefairy giggled and walked alongside of her manager and her partner. They were getting along quite well. And they were both excited. This was going to be awesome. Then, they stopped by a door to a changing room. She giggled and entered. As they made their way inside, Star noticed manikins, wearing their Ouran Girl School Uniform. They were shorter at the hem and had petticoats. So that they had a lolita touch. They were a pretty yellow and the collar was crisp white. A pink ribbon was tied in a bow around the collar. Matching pink high heels were also with the outfit, adding two inches to her normal short height. Ecstatic, she swiped the outfit and darted into a changing room. She peeled off her outfit and giggled as she noticed her nudity. Pulling the dress onto her body, she stared into the mirror and tied the ribbon back into place, like a neck tie.
Star then emerged from the dressing room, her clefairy ears removed and replaced with orange hair clips that swept part of her bangs that were to the side, avoiding the parts of her hair from falling in her face while she sang in the music video. Star stood a few inches taller with the pink high heels. She smiled cheerfully and waited for her partner.

"I love Ouran toooo," Miyabi grinned dreamily. It was ten times funner when she got to be a part of a popular and favorite anime of hers. As her eyes alighted on the prepared dresses, she practically sparkled herself, "These outfits are adorableee! I'm definitely going to thank the costume design crew~"
She stepped into the dressing rooms with an excited air. Slipping into the elegant yet stylish dress, she tied the ribbons into place and smiled at how the fabric hugged her body. Humming as she worked, she pulled off her ribbon and clip. Combing the curls back into place, she fastened them into two dangling pigtails. She twirled back out in the heels with a grin,
"All done! Let's get this show on the roaad!"
The standby workers spurred into action. "If you'll come this way, misses," They lead them out into a studio where a scene from the anime had been set up. There was a table rested its mahogany scrolled legs in front of a section of wall. A tea set had already been prepared with a cake tray, all with an elegant air of French high tea. To the side was a white grand piano with pink and red roses strewn artistically across it. "We're doing some photo shooting first before going on to the actual MV," They explained, "One of you to a scene, where you'll do the close up lip-syncing."

I am a SHINING ... ★ S t a r  ...rare and untouched. The clefairy ran her hands down her sides, feeling the soft fabric of the dress. She smiled at the softness and then heard Miyabi. She giggled. It was 200 times more fun being a part of the popular anime in which she favored most of her anime favorites. "My favorite host was Tamaki! He is so sweet and funny. I love him!!!" she squealed at the thought of the fictional character. Her eyes sparkled dreamily as she pictured the blond haired Prince of the Host Club, with his deep, indigo eyes. His golden locks. His perfect skin. Star loved fantasizing herself with Tamaki Suoh. Rather than most girls fantasizing themselves with Edward Cullen or Jacob Black. She felt pathetic for crushing on a drawing, but he was drawn beautifully. Hearing her comment on the adorable outfits, she nodded in agreement. "I know!!! I hope we can keep them! It would be a nice souvenir!" she giggled.
Star looked to the now dressed Miyabi, her ribbon redone and replaced, her blond ringlets neatly combed and placed in pig tails, which bounced at her movement. Star giggled, then gave her a thumbs up in approval. Thinking Miyabi looked quite cute in the outfit. "YEAH!" she exclaimed excitedly. Then, the workers hurried the pair into action. Leading them into a stocked studio. It looked so pretty. They had a back drop that looked like the Host Club room. A white grand piano stood in front of the camera, beautiful rose petals strewn across the keys and the top. A small table of mahogany with scrolled legs sat in front of a section wall, with a cake tray and a beautiful tea set lied out. She was excited. Her heart pounded in her chest, feeling so happy and ecstatic. Star's head then turned to two groups of people, their hands carrying supplies. Two males carried chairs, two females carried combs, hair brushes, product, and blow-dryers, and two other females carried containers filled with make up. The chairs were placed behind the singers. Star's rump seated herself and she felt a group of make up artists, hair dressers, working their magic on her. Applying light make up on her and fixing her pink hair. A man spoke to her and Miyabi, explaining what they were going to do. Star nodded and giggled. "Okie dokie!" she giggled.
