The tallest mountain in all of Nocturne. It is said that the eternal full moon that stays in the land's sky actually rests at the peak. Lycans often dare to climb this mountain in order to obtain their full transformation.

For anybody with a speed rating of at least 8, the peak can be reached in 10 posts. For everyone else, it'll take 20. This mountain is also plagued with several dog-type monsters, and for that we bring back the lovely random number system.

1-You find a shortcut through a pass. +2 posts
2-Nothing Happens
3-You are attacked by a Skeleton Werewolf
4-Nothing Happens
5-Avalanche! -1 posts
6-You are attacked by a Three-headed Hound.
7-You find an empty den that takes you on faster trail. +3 posts
8-Nothing Happens
9-You are attacked by a Demon Hound.
10-Stop to rest in a warm shack, gain back a quarter of you total energy and continue on your way.

Cherry reached the bottom of the peak and began climbing up as fast as she could. No sooner did she start climbing up, that an avalanche happened. Luckaly she was close enough to the bottom that all she had to do was kind of run down.

The female took a deep breath and looked up at the peak before starting her ascent once more.

As she made her way up, Cherry noticed a path on the side of the mountian. She figured that the avalanche must have revealed it and began to travel up it. As she did, the female found that it was taking her up the mountain quicker. She was more than a little estatic and ran up as fast as she possibly could. By the time the trail ended, she was already halfway up the mountian. "Wow..." She stopped for a moment to get a good look at the city from here. As she looked up to the moon she had to put her hand over her eyes. The moon already looked so big.

"I'm gonna do this..Nothing will stop me Mircea..."

As she ran up the peak, Cherry noticed the ground moving again. Another avalanche was coming her way! The female held on for dear life, but the fierce snow swept her up like she was nothing and carried her back down towards the bottom. She stoped just a few feet from the bottom and poked her head out of the snow. "Ugh...Almost back to square one...fantastic.."

Cherry pulled herself up from the compacted snow. If she had been anything but a lycan she was sure that probably would have killed her. Once she was up, the female began making her way up the peak once more. She hoped it wouldn't be like that one room in the tower...she hated that room...But she was pretty sure she was going to hate this peak as well. (post 2/10)

She continued making her way up the peak. It was definitely cold up here. She supposed she never had really noticed the bitter cold that seemed to plaque nocturne due to the lack of sun. It made her miss Aramil. Sure, it was under the sea but even there it felt warmer than this. The female would head back there after she was done and after she had time to play around a little bit. Her hands dug into the snow as she continued pulling herself up the side of the peak. (post 3/10)

Cherry found a nice little shack about halfway up the peak. It was bitterly cold so she decided to head inside. The female wandered in, finding it slightly strange how the door was open. But there was a note that said "Come on in and warm up." As she read it, she saw a mug on the table and picked it up. Inside was some hot tea. Cherry began drinking it and got herself all nice and warm. But she didn't stay too long. She wanted to be the first of the three to get her transformation. So the female left and began heading up the hill again. (post 4/10)

Cherry continued making her way up the peak. She climbed and climbed and climbed until she was about halfway up. The woman turned and looked up at the moon again. She hoped that there wouldn't be another avalanche. She was halfway there...She could feel her body wanting to change for the first time. She was eager to get her transformation. (post 4/10)

As Cherry continued climbing, she could hear a growl from somewhere ahead of her. The female stood there ready for a fight.

(Short post but I assume fen will be playing the three headed hound. Yay me XD) (post 5/10)

Three headed hound

The growl Cherry heard soon seemed to split into three, and out of the cold snow three sets of red glowing eyes glared at her. The large beast jumped forward, revealing itself to be a three-headed hound, and stood on all four legs at about the same height as its prey. Its three ugly heads licked their teeth hungrily as they stood against Cherry, stopping her from advancing until one of them was dead.

She couldn't believe how massive this beast was. It was unbelieveable! The female looked over at it and noticed how it was not only blocking her way, but growling at her too. "Ah..I don't suppose you'd be a good doggie and leave right?" When she heard the growl she knew the answer. "I didn't think so...Too bad. I'd love to have a three headed dog like you. But if I must kill you to keep going then so be it."

The female's body began glowing a bright neon pink as she summoned up her energy. She moved her hand over to the three headed hound. Beneath it's feet a circle appeared in the snow before a large pillar of ice rose up to enclose it. Cherry used her claws and speed to quickly crawl up it. Once she stood on top, she peered down at the beast and quickly made her next attack.

Cherry moved her hands infront of her, creating a large magic circle. As she did a hundred dagger sized shards of ice began protruding forth. She aimed them down at the beast and fired them all. Cherry figured that in this enclosed space, the beast would be doomed. She wanted to make this quick, because she really didn't want to see it die.

Ice Shards (25 Energy)

Description The arcanist moves his hands in front of him creating a large magic circle and out of this circle up to a hundred dagger sharp shards of ice will form and launch at the target.

Ice Pillar (50 Energy)

Description: The arcanist moves his arm towards the target and for a spit second a magic circle forms on the ground. Out of that circle will launch a pillar of Ice up to two meters long, its purpose is to trap an object though should the Arcanist be working with an Elementist of master rank the elementist can sharpen it to form pillar for impaling the enemy.

Three headed hound

The three-headed hound tried to escape but was frozen beforehand. He wasn't expecting his prey to know so magic. It didn't stay stuck for long though as a river of fire suddenly blasted out of the middle head to melt the ice and set his body free. Of course it wouldn't be free in time to save it from the ice shards. But just as it was about to be impaled the other two heads stuck their heads forward and unleashed giant streams of smoldering fire themselves, melting all of the shards and reaching so far as to even burn Cherry if she didn't get out of the way. Steady streams of hot steam poured out of the beast's three mouths and with a sudden roar from the middle head the hound charged at Cherry.

Cherry leapt back as soon as she saw the streams of fire coming at her. The lycan landed in the snow once again, nearly slipping as she fell. When she turned her head up, she noticed the beast was now charging. Her body continued to glow as she worked up another ice pillar. Her hand shot out infront of the beast and a circle appeared beneath it for an instant before another ice pillar shot up. Cherry then turned to look up the mountian.

The female leapt back a few more feet before messing with the rocks that laid beneath the snow of the frozen peak. She was able to spot the one rock that would cause the others to fall and using her energy, pulled it out. The three headed hound was still stuck in the pillar, and she waited until the rocks were close to the pillar before putting down the pillar. The mutt would have a rude awakening coming as the rockslide was probably too close for it to avoid.

Three headed hound

The three-headed hound used the same tactic to escape the ice pillar again. This time he wouldn't be able to so easily blast away Cherry's attacks and was hit by the rock slide. The heavy hits pushed it down the mountain and it rolled a few times before catching itself. All three of the heads shook themselves to cast off the dizziness and slight concussion before roaring back at Cherry.
