I silent myself and wish for a moment
Feel the best of things, see my fulfillment
Cherish every smile in everyday
And know that I shall stay
In the core of the best of the best in life
Amidst all trials, and futile strife
Best is my Sun, rising to greet my day
Awake my soul and taste morning dew as I lay
In my dreams I shall fulfill someday
And know I had begun a great day
Best is the smile of every person I meet
Courage in their eyes, strong in the heat
Struggle to fight on whatever ahead to beat
Finding in their hearts humble joy even in defeat
Best is the strongest bond of friendship I keep
Far or here, apart or near, it is a bond so deep
Friends are my precious treasure heap
Through time and trials, I reap
Best is the moment I never give up the fight
Peace streaming in blood, hope in my heart
Faith in things unreachable by my mind
And great, truest love that I find
Best is the hope people gave to me
Encouragement for me to see
That life is full of best and worst
Life has its own downhill and rising slope
From where I can see both darkness and light
And in between all things lies the thread of trust
To the Hand that binds all things in life
All that work for the best in life.
