Location: Somewhere Underground

This is the Lazarus facility, filled with test subjects and scientists; I hope your one of the lucky ones. The Lazarus project is a top secret research and test program, started by a man known simply as ‘The Boss’. This facility has scientists from all around the world, and they can do anything they want to the poor people they experiment on. Their motto: ‘Anything to survive’. Well they do whatever they want to make sure they survive all right, but they don’t care much about their test subjects that’s for sure. Well if you’re a doctor, I already hate you, if you’re one of the experiments, then welcome to your new home, I hope you survive…..

There are three wings in the Lazarus facility, each one holding different experiments:

Wing B: Psychological/Mental experiments
Wing C: Hybrid/Fusion experiments

Note: All experiments are held in a communal holding cell, a 500x500x500 foot chamber made of ten foot thick experimental fireproof titanium.

Bio: He was born somewhere in North or South America. He wont tell any one about himself and his file is very short. One thing is known for sure, he was abused at one time in his life. But instead of making him timid the abuse made him angry and sadistic. If it weren't for his great intelligence he would have been dealt with already. He only rally respects Boss and Mathis. Lala pisses him off, but he does find her entertaining at times.

Experiments received/Special abilities: His DNA was fused with that of a Chameleon and allows him to shift the color of his scales to camouflage himself. He can also move both eyes independent of the other. He is stronger and faster then most humans and his limbs are more flexible. He is also quite tough considering his thick scales and the fact his bones are slightly thicker then an average human's.
Personality: Despite his rather fearsome appearance he is kind and gentle, he treats all the other experiments like family and acts much like an older brother to them, helping them and comforting them and trying to keep their hopes up. However when it comes to the scientists he is vicious and hateful, always plotting to escape and always fighting his captors.
Bio: He has no idea when he was born, his oldest memories are of being in Lazarus, yet he has always resented the scientists. He was raised by other experiments and has always treated them as his family.

Experiments received/Special abilities: Tora's DNA was altered, adding a recessive tiger gene to it. Now, when she wants to, she can take the form of a white tiger. If she concentrates, she can control how much she changes. In her human form, she's more than just an average girl though, some traits carrying over such as keen senses and such.
Personality: Shy and timid, she dislikes fighting. Tora absolutely hates pain.
Bio: Tora thinks she might have come to Lazarus as a small child. She can't tell if it's a dream or memories of the outside world that she has. Mostly though, all she remembers now is scientists and pain. Tora started off fighting the scientists but has been practically beaten into submission. While some spark still hides within her, she mostly just goes along with what she's told now, her purple eyes dull and lifeless.

Experiments received/Special abilities: Skin toughened to armor-like scales. Hands calcified to claws. Extensive morphing of the skeleton to more reptilian proportions. Removal of all hair and addition of secondary layer of skin with immunization glands. (Scaly, clawed and toothed, lizard-like, tough and resistant to attack, and also has a tougher immune system to combat poisons..)
Personality: Beast is a brooding, moody, and often violent subject. When left alone he is the former, while when disturbed or irritated he is the latter. Only during feeding does he regain some sense of himself, occasionally holding short conversations.
Bio: Originally Grant Alcan, all Beast remembers now is that he was once human. All else has been scoured from his mind by the pain the scientist exacted on him. Ruthlessly cruel and angry, he is not shy of violence when disturbed from his extended periods of silence. He often sits by himself in the corner of the large holding cell when not being used as a test subject for some form of weapon or poison.
He was nicknamed "The Beast" by the scientist who headed up his 'operations'. Not much else is know beyond what he can do and what has been done to him. Grant Alcan is no more.

Other: He is carnivorous and cold-blooded now. He is capable of coherent speech, but dislikes conversing with others. Only music seems to calm him when he goes into a rage.

Experiments received/Special abilities: Morgan's body was fused with the genetic material of a Luna Moth. She can fly, sense changes in the air, glow slightly at night, and has very sensitive hearing, as well as the ability to make cricket like high pitched chirps.
Personality: Quiet, stoic, maternal,
Bio: As a child Morgan was raised in a Christian orphanage. She's never had any idea who her parents were or what happened to them, she was about nine when she was 'adopted' by a scientist. The woman seemed nice and gentle when she came to visit Morgan before adopting her, it turned out that Morgan had a very rare blood type that made her perfect for the experimentation the scientist was preforming. Morgan hasn't seen anything of the outside world since her 'adoption' and doubts she ever will. She sometimes dreams of reuniting with her closest friend from her childhood days at the orphanage, but these dreams are no comfort to her.

Bio: Born to a mechanic and a computer repair woman who died of birth complications, Antonia grew up around repair parts and became slightly obsessed with fixing things. When her father died being crushed by a falling car she was found by a The Boss who decided to "Help" her with her obsession, by turning her into a cyborg with tools built around fixing things. She was taken to Lazarus Facility where she was experimented on and is still there, not that she really minds, as long as they let her fix things she's somewhat content.

Experiments received/Special abilities: Unknown genetic mutations and changes made by Krimson. His eyes were also removed and replaced with the face mask he now wears, the green liquid replacing his eyes by reflecting the light before him and converting it into images sent to his mind, allowing him to 'see' though his vision is quite different from normal.
Personality: A fierce and quick-tempered person, he's always snapping at people though he doesn't really mean any harm, he's rough around the edges and a bit harsh at times. Though he's really quite compassionate, it's difficult to get close to him unless you can handle his sharp retorts and quick temper.
Bio: He doesn't remember anything of his childhood, if he even had one. He remembers Krimson and his wicked laugh, cackling around him as Fenris was tormented, body wracked with agony, then his eyes, torn from his head viciously, then replaced by some ******** up device. He hates it all, and it certainly doesn't help his temper.

Other: He has a deep-seated rage directed at Krimson, the lead scientist on his project. Though, strangely, he has nothing against the other scientists and even The Boss. Only Krimson inspires his true hatred.

Experiments received/Special abilities: Diaemus has highly developed senses, strength, bat wings and razor sharp teeth. She lives solely on blood.
Personality: Often bitchy, she gives as good as she receives. She hates the fact that she is dependent on others to survive. Her bitchiness is directly related to when she last fed. Recently fed, she is more calm. The longer she goes without feeding though, the more volatile she gets. One experiment proved she would attack the other experiments around her if her need for blood was driving her crazy. She hates this changing all the time. She wants things constant. She's a bit OCD, and HATES when things get changed without warning.
Bio: She was the result of some scientists fiction fascination. She was an attempt to create a true vampire. She grew up, constantly being overfed and underfed, to see what the results were. Various bloods were introduced, to see what her system could handle, the results not always being pretty.

Other: Diaemus hates taking blood from the other experiments but it's sometimes hard not to. Seeing blood, unless she's fed very recently, sends her into a need to feed frenzy that's hard to control.

Experiments received/Special abilities: The ability to turn her body to stone at will. If she turns to stone, then turns back, all but the most grievous wounds have been healed.
Personality: Calm and gentle. If Scales is the big brother of the group, Valia is the mother. She takes care of the group, particularly the younger ones. Despite her gentle nature, she's also very stubborn and never gives up.
Bio: Valia is one of the oldest experiments. She's simply accepted that this is life and deals with it as best she can - Until she can get free. She is always watching everything. Experiments and tests are normal to her. She lives her life as best she can, taking care of the experiments around her as a way to sooth her mind.

Personality: Cold and emotionless, he examines everything from each perspective and judges things through chillingly efficient reason, unaffected by emotion or personal desires.
Bio: In the process of his changes he lost his emotions and memories of his past life. He was considered a failure for unknown reasons and has not received any other experiments since.

Experiments received/Special abilities: Fused with the DNA of an Orca whale, he is very strong, has sharp teeth, and is able to hold his breathe for long periods of time. His skin has a rubbery feeling, and is very tough, as well as being resistant to wet, cold, and even high amounts of heat and electric shock.
Personality: He's the epitome of the strong silent type, tough and resilient, he rarely says a word, many people think he's a mute, but he'll speak when he has a reason to, and when he does everyone listens.
Bio: He's been in the facility all his life, and is one of the oldest experiments there along with Valia. He's very protective of the experiments, but he doesn't show it as often. Anytime the scientists 'ask' for a volunteer he steps forward, often sparing some of the weaker, or younger experiments.

Experiments received/Special abilities: Hybrid - Hawk DNA / Wings are sprouted from her back, she has slightly enhanced sight and hearing, and hollow bones.
Personality: Angel tends to be reserved, easily frightened. She brightens a little around the other experiments - only a little.
Bio: Angel doesn't remember anything outside the facility, or if she has even ever been outside the facility. As far as she can remember, she was raised here...

Gender: Female
Experiments received/Special abilities: Kia's DNA was permanently twisted together with cat DNA, resulting in her lightning fast reflexes and extremely keep senses. Her appearance was an unfortunate side effect.
Personality: Scared,confused, and childish with a hidden temper that flares up occasionally. Usually though, she's willing to do as she's told.
Bio: Kia was born at Lazarus, an attempt to create an obedient experiment who would do as she was told. They were adding the obedience gene to all the current experiments, in addition to their normal ones. It worked, for the most part. Kia does as she's told, but that doesn't stop her from being scared and disliking it. And every now and then she resists the programing and has a temper tantrum. She was introduced to the other experiments when she was one, so it's all she knows. Valia and Orcus practically raised her.

The Beast sat in the corner closest to the doors, waiting, waiting patiently for them to open permanently. He hated those doors, oh yes he hated them. But they couldn't be knocked down or torn apart like one of those sick fleshlings that opened and closed them.
A deep throaty rumble began in his chest as the thought of the mad creatures that called themselves humans began to enrage him. He almost stood, but he focused on the only thing he could grasp.
Grant. Grant Alcan. I am not a monster... I am Grant Alcan. He thought feverishly. Outwardly, he simply calmed.

Mathis Malicus, also known as The Knife, strode into the young upstart's office without so much as knocking.
"Here boss, a few more papers for you to sift through while I'm off cutting up some poor soul" Mathis said, a mad smile playing across his face. The huge glasses he wore shielded his eyes from both sight and light, making him appear all that much more mysterious.
The papers landed on the younger man's desk with a wieghty and loud 'plop'. There was something wet in one of them.

Tarotsat in the corner.He was completely calm and ahppy. He was dislocating his fingers and relocating them, which made a gross popping sound. He paused when the doors opened.

Scales sighed and winced slightly running a hand across his burn marks, "******** tazers." He swore, turning to look at the others sadly. He didn't care if he was hurt or not, he just wished they could get out....they all deserved a true life....

Mathis smiled "We tested the one that calls himself 'Scales' again. We've found his skin is quite fire resistant, but only for a short time. I had him put back with the others. After picking around a little of course...." he said, his glasses gleaming of their own accord in the low light.
"I propose that we try the same with all the lizardine creatures. At least all that have scales...." he added, counting the few they had in his head "A total of seven other subjects. Smaller in comparison, but also more animal-like. Other than the large grey brute." he let out a small chuckle. He enjoyed toying with that one.
"Other than that, there is very little int he way of results to report. The going has been slow. Many of our younger researchers have been...." he paused, searching for a suitable word ".... less than reluctant to continue on 'children', even though that is the perfect age to introduce...." he stopped, knowing full well that the younger man knew the reasoning behind the age requirement.
