This was.......offically boring.
Sev had brought Tarot to this art event, Eternal Garden. Which had sounded all awesome and pretty, but it was a lie! There was no garden, just a bunch of big rocks, dirt, and metal. Granted Tarot liked most rocks, dirt, and metal, but not when she'd been expecting plants!
Someone was obviously misinformed on what a garden should be. The sillies had even tried bending the metal to make it look like plants, with limited degrees of success.
Sev had decided to admire some of the pieces by the entrance and chat with others there, leaving her free to roam around. Most would frown on a toddler being on her own, but Sev had gotten used to her escaping. At least by the door he could be sure she didn't get out of the building.
Tarot wandered deeper into the maze of twisted metals, glaring at everything around her. Seriously, this was not a garden!

Gera didn't know there was a art show in town, in fact he wasn't aware at all of something so grand going on. All he knew was he was being drawn somewhere...like a magnet to a fridge..he felt that tug...and his hunger.
Without even thinking he found himself standing in front of the fantastic metal garden.
If he could drool he would, instead his feet carried him into the garden. He..He couldn't eat these....could he? Would they notice?
Who cares...once the event is over they will throw them away..
Gera had wandered around trying to not be obvious and failing. After all he was a giant metal golem child.

Tarot was squatted, elbows propped on her knees with her head in her hands, staring down the aisles. There was practically no one around this area. She sighed, eyes moving to the floor. Seriously, how could anyone think these things were better than actual plants?
A clonking sound caught her attention, mostly because of how unusual it was. It sounded like walking, but like metal. Certainly didn't help them with the stealth, but it sounded like the person was trying. And the sounds were getting louder, indicating the person was getting closer.
Tarot lifted her gaze and leaned forward to stare down the aisle again, curious.

Gera had managed to get to a part of the gallery where there were hardly any people about. In fact there was just him..
And another...analyzing..
Gera could of sighed, if it wasn't for the fact he didn't really need to breath. That inner voice was quite a nuisance. Gera didn't show that he knew he wasn't alone. But that did make him more nervous...he wanted to eat those metal flowers...so badly.
No threat in the current area. Eat.
Gera reached for a flower and hesitated. Should he really be doing this? It was too late as the metal flower seemed to heat up suddenly and then absorb into his finger tips.

Whoa. Wait a sec, what just happened? Good thing Tarot didn't seem to need to blink as often as others, because she could have missed that. The metal stick (she refused to call it a flower) just vanished!
Curiousity drove her actions primarily, so it was only natural for her to get up and wander over to the stand that held the box of dirt. Unfortuanetly her head didn't even clear the stand, and even jumping only gave her peeks of the dirt.
The toddler frowned. Yea, being little stank. Maybe the boy could help. Just cause she was trying to figure out what he did didn't mean she couldn't ask for help, right?
She came around to the other side of the table, where the boy was standing. Up close he seemed to be glowing, and looked like he was covered in metal. Odd. Oh well. She tilted her head back to look up at him, and tried to put on a "you-will-obey" face. "Up," she said (demanded), pointing at the table. It was just dirt and metal sticks, so why should it matter if she was standing in it? And from there it would be all the better to find out what happened without resorting to asking questions. Tarot disliked having to ask, if she could avoid it.

Gera had known there was someone else in the room, though a vague semblance of relief went through him when it was a child. After all if it was someone who ran the art studio he would feel not just terrible about what he did but he'd be forced to bring the flower back into existence.
He continued to watch the child, as it tried hoping up and down trying to see the contents of the box and then finally came up to him and demanded up. Now Gera..despite all his best efforts was still habitual when it came to orders. Direct and firm ones were hard to ignore.
So without even hesitating or questioning the demand, Gera had bent over and picked the girl up. Of course now holding onto the girl he wondered what he was suppose to be doing with her.

Hmmmm, it even felt like the boy was covered in metal. This was another first for her, chalked up in the ranks with Faris who felt like a rock. Most people wore bits and pieces of rocks or metal, they didn't cover themselves in it. Ah well, people could do what they wanted if it made 'em happy.
The bright side to the metal kid was that he seemed quiet strong. Even slender Sev could tolerate her monkeyness without too much of a balance problem, so she felt completely comfortable in leaning dangerous forward out of the boy's arms to pat the dirt where the metal stick used to be.
Well. She'd thought maybe the boy had turned it invisible or something, but she couldn't feel anything. It wasn't invisible, it had vanished! Tarot would have loved to climb on the dirt to make absolutely sure, but from here she could see the metal took up too much room to allow even one as tiny as her up there. Comfortably, anyway, but Tarot didn't feel like contorting herself today.
"How'd ya do tha'," she asked, craning her neck so she could look at the metal boy and patting the dirt one more time just to check.

Gera watched the little girl, he didn't say much as he was observed and her analyzed her right back. He watched her as she stretched forward and with a compliant step forward made it more comfertable for her. He couldn't help it..he wanted to please people.
He watched her pat the dirt and wave her hands around as if trying to make the flower come back. Did she want it back? The golem boy looked surprised when she was inquiring about how he did it. did what? Oh...make the flower dissapear.
Rather than answering he reached forward with his only free hand and then did the same thing as the first, the flower looked to get real hot and then when his fingers touched a petal it all liquified and absorbed into his hand.

Tarot was quite surprised, to say the least. That boy just make metal turn into some kind of weird water-looking stuff, then just sucked it right up through his hand! It actually looked....kinda neat.
Could she do that, maybe? She focused reeeeally hard on the flower in front of her, then reached out and touched it and......nothing. The metal didn't even want to talk to her, but them most metals didn't. Disappointed with the results, though not unexpected, Tarot looked back at the boy.
"How ya make i' get all runny 'n' stuff?" Slowly she was becoming aware that she might be in the prescence of a nontalker, or at least one relcutant to talk. He hadn't said anything so far, anyway.

Gera watched her and then wondered what exactly was she trying to do. IT wasn't apparent until she spoke to him again. How did he do it? Now that he thought on it he wasn't entirely sure.
"I've always been.." He rumbled reaching out another hand to heat up melt and absorb another flower. "I think..I want to eat that...and it melts and becomes apart of me." He continued after a moment. "Why?"

Tarot supposed that was a reasonable question to ask, though she'd thought the answer would have been obvious. Sev always said she was a brat like that.
"Cause it jus' vanishes an' goes righ' into y'r hand. Norm'ly ya put things in y'r mouth ta eat 'em." She looked up at the boy, curious now. "Ya eat metal," she asked, having never heard of something like that before. It seemed like an amazing story rather than something real. Tarot began her own sort of inspection, which was to say she was slowly patting the boy's arms with her tiny hands, trying to see if anything jumped out at her.

Gera looked to the small child as if discovering something he hadn't been aware of. Yes he had noticed people ingested food that way...but it had never occurred to him to try and do the same thing. He always ate this way.
He watched her as she patted his armored arm, "Yes...I eat metals...I am made of metal..or so my Aunt told me." He explained before the armor on his metal arm shivered and shifted to become more smooth under Tarots fingers.
"I eat metal so I can grow. I think I'll be growing soon...I am very hungry."

"Sev s'ys th' same thing abou' veg'ables, but I eat 'em an' I'm still short," Tarot responded absently. Most of her attention was focused on the boy's arm. She was running her fingers over the smooth metal almost as one who was blind would in an attempt to "see". How'd the metal just go smooth like that?
Tarot was still pretty young, but she'd seen a lot of things that could be considered odd. Humanoid, but they couldn't really be human? No normal human was mixed with an animal, all the colors of the rainbow, able to generate smells at will, able to understand or command rats, or any number of other amazing things. Next to all that Tarot felt remarkably plain. Her only visible anomoly were the pale stripes that nearly blended with her porcelan skin.
This boy though, was fascinating! He was made of metal, something that had no life to it. But here he was, walking and talking and growing! She didn't really know what he was or what his aura meant, all she knew was that the feelings he gave off to her were more indicitive of a personal than metal. It was both enlightening and puzzling.
"My name's Tarot, w'as your name?" Now Tarot's fingers had moved a bit further up his arm, feeling at the biccep and crook of his elbow.
