Akuja had some errands to run, like paying the yearly registration for her vehicle and a few other adult like things that involved money and boring office environments that she knew Seidh wouldn’t like, no matter how quiet and patient the girl was. So thus she sent the girl next door to the Sunshine Bakery where she was to wait and look at the treats until Akuja was finished where she would then reward her. The small girl was of course quite fine with this and gave her mother a hug to her leg before entering the bakery cautiously, looking around.
Oh it smelled so good in here! Not only that, but there were shelves upon shelves of delicious looking baked goods! Seidh was a bit excited as her eyes glanced every which way before she decided to start at one end of the bakery, examining the baked good with an awed expression, making sure to stay out of other customer’s way.

Bug was just finishing up handing out a large box of sweets you nicely plump old man before she caught a glimpse the small girl that walked in. She was so cute and tiny, Bug remembered what it was liked to be so small and walking into the bakery for the first time.
The tall teen leaned over the counter and put her chin on her hands.
"Why hello there little one, what can I do for you today." she asked grinning and giggling a bit.

Seidh almost had her face pressed against the display case as she stared at all the baked goods within her field of vision. Oh they just looked so good! This was her first time in the bakery and she was loving it already and she hadn’t even tried anything yet!
She was lightly startled out of her little world by a voice and looked up to seen a yellow-tinted teen with long, canary like wings. Oh wow…she was very interesting looking! Did she work here? She blinked a few times before replying, “…I am looking while my mother is busy with important things.”

Oh poop, she had a parent, well fine then.She was so cute, it would be hard to resist to not take her home. Bug unconsciously rolled her eyes before giving the store a good look around. No one was coming in so... Bug quickly pulled out one of the stores sample butter tarts for the girl. It wouldn't be recorded as anything missing because it was meant to be a sample so why not let the girl have it?
"Wanna try this?" She held it out and down so that the little girl could take it easier. If she liked it, well parents were easy to convince to buy something if their kid wanted it. After working in the store it was easy to figure out kids ended up being the boss, such a strange world.

The small girl blinked up at the older girl curiously. Her eyes widened a bit as Bug reached to pull out a treat and even went so far as to hold one out to her. That was for her? Seidh glanced around for a moment, looking to see if Akuja would appear, but she didn’t.
Did she want to try it? Of course she did!
“….B…but I don’t have any money…” Seidh replied quietly, frowning a bit. She didn’t understand that it was a free sample yet. She didn’t know the magic of free samples.

"You don't need money for this," the teen giggled.
"It's on the house." Bug thought about the age of the girl if she matched the height and then corrected what she said in case she didn't understand phrases.
"It means it's free, it's a free sample. If you like it tell your mom to buy you a dozen of them. The bird girl smiled, she was just so cute. Bug leaned over with the treat still held out she waited for the girl to take her bait.
"Are there any types of fruits you like? Trying to discover what else might entice the child.

Seidh stared up at Bug in awe. She liked the words no money and free! A small smile came to the girl’s lips as she reached up and gingerly took the treat. “Thank you.” She replied sincerely as she stared at the pastry in her hands. Ever the laid back child, Seidh took a little bite out of it and hummed softly in approval before she took another one. “This is really good.”
At the teen’s question, she looked thoughtful for a moment before replying, “I like blackberries, raspberries and cherries.”

Now leaning resting on her head on a hand she smiled back "You're welcome and thanks I made the sample tarts." beaming a little at the child's approval. Kids were blunt about most things, so she took the girl's remark as a good test result.
Hmmm cherries didn't usually go with the first two in most recipes. Pondering about it, Bug figured she could make a cake with layered with those as custard flavours."Hmmm, yeah that could work." pausing as she realized she said that out loud. "Do you and your mom come down this way into to town often." she asked with some plots in mind.

“You are a really good chef.” Seidh replied softly, honestly, as she finished up the butter tart. She kept her black gaze on the teen, tilting her head curiously as the teen seemed to be thinking about something and then asked her a question. It was the small girl’s turn to look thoughtful before she replied a bit uncertainly. “…Kind of?” She did know she would often enough pass by this place and always wonder about it, now here she was!
“…Oh…my name is Seidh.” The small girl also replied, because they haven’t introduced yet!

Looking wide eyed at the girl,
"You really think so?! I think one day I might be a pâtissière, if I get good enough though." she paused to here what the girl said. kind of hmm?
"Do you wanna help me out? Can you see if you can come back here in two days time? I'll have a special treat for you if you can." two days should be enough time for her to muddle about with recipes and get the consistency just right.
"Oh! Name's Bug, it's nice to meet you Seidh." replying cheerfully she was too carried away to think about introducing herself.

Seidh nodded her head enthusiastically when Bug questioned her about being a good chef, but at that odd sounding word the girl’s expression turned into one of confusion. What did that mean? She also tilted her head curiously when the teen asked if she could help her out and the girl pondered for a moment. Surely Akuja wouldn’t mind coming back here in two days, right? She didn’t think she would!
“I shall ask.” Seidh replied softly and that was the safe answer. “It is nice to meet you too.” She answered back politely before she glanced around. “…Did you make all of these treats?”

"Please do," saying cheerfully while smiling and plotting. Seidh was so sweet looking Bug could help watch the girl before her. The tiny girl's mannerisms were adorable! When asked if she had made all the things in the bakery are shoulders slumped. I wish! With a bit of an uneasy laugh, more at herself, she told the girl the truth.
"No, not me, that'd be my boss Mrs. Opthof, she gets up real early to make everything fresh each day." Stretching her arms out in front she laced her fingers and pulled them in as she clasped on them on the counter top to watch the girl just over the edge.

“I will, I promise.” Seidh replied firmly. She wouldn’t forget to ask her mother, not at all! Because the worst thing that could be said was ‘no’ and you wouldn’t find out until you asked!
The girl didn’t seem any less impressed when Bug confessed that she didn’t make everything in the bakery. She looked to the bright side (usually). “That’s alright.” She replied softly. “The thing you gave me was really good, so I still think you are a good chef.” She smiled a bit before the curious streak hit. “Do you like working here?” It seemed fun!

Bug was very pleased to hear Seidh promise her. As of yet, no one had gone back on their promises made to her so it was a pact that was held just as strong as any sort of contract.
Awing at the girl's bright outlook and the complement Bug's cheeks flushed a bit of orange in a happy glowing blush.
"You're so sweet, thank you." she watched as Seidh smiled and perk with interest.
"Yup. My boss is really nice, and I like meeting new and old customers each day, I'm allowed to use the kitchen to make my own desserts and to attempt to make ones from recipes. listing off her reflexions.
Yup, it's a good place to work, have you thought about what you want to be when you grow up?" not thinking it was an odd question, especially when you consider Bug had been working while she was still just a kid herself.

Seidh couldn’t help but blush a bit herself upon being called sweet. She was a bit of a modest girl.
She looked up at the teen intently, listening to her talk about her job and how her boss was even nice enough to let her use the kitchen. The small girl nodded her head a bit in understanding, finding this set up to be very nice apparently! When she had the questioned turned on her, the small girl’s brow furrowed a bit as she suddenly looked thoughtful and then a bit dismayed.
“…I don’t know…I don’t have any...talents…?” She hummed a bit more softly before offering, “I…like fish though…”
