Ophelia was getting more comfortable with leaving the house on her own. Her umbrella with her always as she walked down the street. Her father had asked if she wanted an escort to which she had politely declined.

Twirling the umbrella lightly in hand she walked and her small foot steps were making it so her walk was taking three times longer than what a normal person should be able to walk.

It didn't matter to her, she was out and about, trying to build...stamina. It wasn't really doing much of anything but fresh air was a good thing right? It still felt weird to be without her twin but slowly she was getting use to it.

Walking walking she stopped in front of a fountain and then looked at the leaves that were touching on the water's surface. Fall was a beautiful season..so much death.

Seidh was doing that thing that a lot of children seemed to do, where she would stare down at the ground as she walked and stop to pick up any fallen leaves that seemed to be interesting! She wasn’t sure what she’d do with the leaves once she had some, but her mother had said if she collected some then she would show her a neat thing to do with them. The small girl couldn’t argue with that and she liked being outside anyways, experiencing her first fall season.

She was starting to come around a fountain, sort of chasing after some leaves on the cobble stones that the breeze swept away from her when a dress suddenly came into view and the girl immediately stopped sort of running into the person. That would be very rude and not nice after all.

Seidh blinked as she stared at the dress. It was…very lovely! Her black eyes then traveled up to stare at the person who the dress belonged to and she was also greeted by the sight of a lovely parasol and an equally lovely girl. The small girl’s lips pulled into a slightly awed expression as she stared at this beautiful person, the leaves suddenly not looking so interesting anymore. The dark color scheme of this person didn’t seem to put the small girl off at all.

Ophelia had noticed the small girl going around the fountain collecting the bodies of the fallen. She didn't say anything, nor greet the girl. One would think given Ophelia's weak body she'd make some vague attempt to not get run over...but at the same time it wasted energy. So she stood and waited though her expression didn't read relief when the small girl managed to come up short before running into her.

There was a bit of a silent staring contest between the two, Ophelia admired the girls black lifeless looking eyes. Her hair...well what could one do about that. Her dress was fairly lovely though.

"Hello." Ophelia finally greeted the little girl. Her voice was quiet, almost breathless.

Seidh knew it was rude to stare, but she honestly couldn’t help herself at the moment. This person just seemed so…mystical! The little girl startled a bit upon seeing the purple butterfly wing on the side of the other girl’s face and then couldn’t help but notice her wings.

Wow!

This person reminded her of a princess out of the fairytale books that Akuja would read to her before bed time, though obviously this person was darker themed, but Seidh liked that. She was very elegant and aristocratic looking! When the girl finally spoke, Seidh blinked a bit as she then lightly blushed, broken out of her intense stare. “H…hello…” She replied back softly, but not as breathlessly as Ophelia. She glanced off to the side for a moment, twirling a leaf that was between her fingers before uttering. “…You are very pretty.”

Ophelia was far from a princess, but perhaps her home life resembled something along the lines of a princess. Since her brother did nearly everything for it, not that she was taking advantage of him, she was a fairly weak after all.

She twirled the parasol in her hand slightly as she gazed down at the little girl who had called her pretty. She offered her a small smile before offering the girl her gloved hand.

"You're very pretty too." The black hair girl replied softly, "I am Ophelia, pleasure to meet you."

It was more or less stuck in her mind now that this girl before her was indeed very princess like. Nothing could sway her now. Her gaze turned back to the somber girl, watching as she elegantly twirled her parasol in her hands and she blinked a bit as she was offered a small smile. Seidh blinked even more as her eyes then widened and she blushed lightly as Ophelia called her pretty too and then offered her a hand.

The small girl seemed unsure what to do first, before she lightly took Ophelia’s hand. She even had a princess like name too! “…M…my name is Seidh….it is nice to meet you, too.” She murmured.

Ophelia was admiring the girls pitch black eyes, they seemed to suck in your soul. She liked that, quite a bit actually. Taking the little girls hand she looked back at the fountian, but taking her hand she would end up sucking the color out of Seidh's hand and part of her upper arm.

It wasn't perminant as soon as Seidh let go the color would return...but it seemed the gothic butterfly girl was able to take the color away from her surrondings. Or at least from a two foot radius around her or by direct contact.

"There is much death in the air...fall is such a pleasant time of year would you not agree?"

Seidh didn’t seem to notice that the color was leaving her arm at first, as it was already pale enough and she was still pretty fascinated with the girl before her. The girl also didn’t let go of Ophelia’s hand yet, not sure what she was doing with it exactly and she didn’t want to be rude and let go of it if she was still suppose to be holding it. Soon enough the blue of her scarf started to become colorless and the girl blinked in surprise as she stared down at it.

Woah!

It didn’t hurt though…she wasn’t feeling any pain…

As Ophelia spoke up she glanced back up at her, her attention now torn between the princess like girl and the color that was fading from her scarf.

“…I…I like it.” She replied. “I like all the leaves on the ground…it is my first fall.”

Opehlia was quite taken with this young girl, so polite and so beautiful, she wondered if the young girl liked tea. She turned to look at the fountian again, squeezing her hand to indicate her like for her.

"It is my first fall too.." she mused watching as the leaves fell and she pulled the girl closer to her so the leaves would hit her parasol instead of landing in the girls pallid skin and light hair.

"Do you like tea Seidh?" She inquired finally, as she loved the stuff, especially the tea her brother made for her.

The small girl was elated actually that Ophelia was still holding onto her hand, even if it was making her color disappear. She watched the lilac start to disappear from the end of her braided pigtail with some fascination before turning her gaze back up to the girl, squeezing her hand gently in return after she squeezed hers. She smiled a bit when she said it was her first fall, she was making a lot of friends where it was their first fall!

Seidh allowed herself to be pulled closer to Ophelia more than happily and listened to the sounds that the leaves made as they crinkled against the parasol and then fell to the ground. “Yes…” She replied softly. “I like my tea with a lot of cream and sugar though…do you have a favorite kind of tea? Mine is blackberry.”

Ophelia could of winced but she didn't, after all though she wasn't a fan of cream and sugar...okay a pinch of sugar maaaybe once in a while, every person was allowed to drink their tea how they wanted to.

"I like wolfsbane." She murmured in reply, though the poisonous plant was merely a joke, she found it funny herself. Giggling slightly she swung the little girls arm a bit.

"No, I was only joking my pet. I prefer Earl Grey." Ophelia explained, she had never tried the fruity tea's before. They sounded too...well fruity. "I think we can make you blackberry tea...if you wanted to come over. I would like that." The girl explained with another squeeze of the girls hand.

Seidh couldn’t help herself. She just loved things sweet. It also helped to lessen the bitter taste of coffee when her mother let her have a cup one day.

She tilted her head a bit at Ophelia’s reply, the joke going over her head completely. She’d have to ask her mother what kind of tea that was later! She smiled a bit as she gently swung her arm along with the other girl’s and looked a bit surprised when she revealed her true favorite. “Oh…!” Another tea she had never heard of before. “What does that taste like?” She asked curiously and then blinked a bit at the girl’s offer. “…I’d have to ask my mother…and she likes it when I play with new friends for longer first before I go over to their houses.”

That made sense, right? Akuja liked to know that the kids her daughter was playing with were alright and that the same could be said of their parents too.

Ophelia was by nature a quiet girl, dainty and very polite. She had a sharp tongue when it required it but for the most part she played the quiet gothic lolita fairly well.

It did makes sense, a mother wouldn't just let her child go off to someone's house for the first time without even knowing who she was.

"Maybe...my Father can meet your mother...then we can play all the time." She murmured before thinking over what exactly Earl Gray tasted like.

To be honest...she drank it so hot that she couldn't recal.

"The taste is ..out of this world." She concluded simply.

Ophelia was a gothic princess to Seidh.

Seidh looked up at her new friend and waited to see what her reply would be, hoping that she didn’t upset her with her answer. Parent rules were parent rules after all, she was in no position to argue. At Ophelia’s reply, Seidh smiled a bit excitedly, her face lighting up a bit despite the fact the girl was probably monochromatic right now due to holding onto the girl’s hand for so long. “That sounds like a good idea.” She commented in a soft pleased tone and then gave a small giggle. Out of this world, huh?

What…kind of things do you like to do?”
