Laughing Shadows hadn't been around her siblings since they were born and so she finally decided it was high time to seek them out. As soon as the sun broke over the horizon the young gray doe with the glowing yellow eyes set out. She didn't really know where she was heading or how long she'd be walking, so she headed towards the sun. It was perhaps not the brightest of ideas, but it gave the young doe a direction to walk without running around in circles. Besides, this way she was sure she would run into most of the different landscapes of the swamp and its surrounding area before she got to the plains and that was surely the best way to run into any siblings she had.
With the dew still fresh on the grass, she walked carefully, not wanting to disturb the drops of rain from the night before and enjoying the sparkle they gave the air. She had only just got to the tree line when her bright blue and yellow familiar joined her. He snickered when he saw how carefully she walked to avoid damaging the dew drops but quickly fell in line beside her, unquestioning as they wandered. They spoke no words as they walked, both simply keeping their eyes peeled for the siblings Laughing Shadows knew were out there.
