Halloween @ REYNA'S HOUSE!
"Is there any particular reason why I must be blind-folded and let out of my own house towards," Reyna paused as she sniffed the air, "the nearby swamp?"
'Don't want to ruin the surprise,' Mystic replied, his voice echoing the mischievous mood he was in. Actually, if anything, it had to be worse than mischief. The Dreamwalker had recruited the help of the Seer and she knew, somehow, wherever they were heading the other was waiting.
"Whatever," she snorted and humored the adult shadow as he, very much the gentleman ( which made her want to chortle and laugh her arse off ), escorted her along the path carefully so as to not cause her to trip up or fall.
'... you really did blindfold her, Dreamwalker. Brave shadow.' The Seer's voice cut through Reyna's thoughts and she, oddly, did not feel Mystic bristle up at the commentary.
'Not that it matters now,' Mystic shrugged, grabbing Reyna's forearms gently and pressing her towards the swampy earth. 'Go ahead and take off the bandana, Reyna …'
With exaggerated slowness, she removed the blindfold and blinked her eye to take in the dimly lit area in front of her. "Mystic," she said slowly, "since when has there been a house in the middle of this swamp?"
'Since we created it for Halloween,' Hawk spoke up, lifting up a hand to call forth a rune. The building was suddenly lit up and everything was visible. It was a veritable haunted house of horrors.
'I thought since Athan wouldn't let you have the party, at least we could have a haunted house and scare people.' He paused and, had he a mouth, might have grinned devilishly. 'And not get in trouble.'
'Besides all the recently grown children shadows may have fun in here ...' Hawk's tail swished back and forth in impish delight. She did not have to ask what it took to get the Seer involved - after all, he had his own demonic tendencies at time and this was his way of showing them.
"My own little haunted house to terrorize people with," she said with a grin, turning to the two shadows and putting an arm around each of their shoulders, "well aren't you two just the sweetest, but how about you show me what this place can really do?"
And with that she marched them both up the stairs into the building, the door shutting behind them with a resounding scream.
Invitations
Invitations to Mischief & Mayhem
Hawk and Mystic would like to cordially invite all guardians and fiends to the Twilight Designs Haunted House of DOOM. Invitations were sent out last week, so where are you guys?
Instructions written on the piece of paper state that you're supposed to be arriving promptly at 7pm at the swamp near Reyna's house - except that the swamp never had a big scary haunted house in it before and there most certainly is one now.
A note tacked on the door bade all enter and have a most wonderful, possibly frightening, time. If you're easily scared, do not enter, but then why do you have a shadow as a constant companion if that's the case? The only catch? The house is not the same for each person, nor is it the same if you enter it more than once.
So go ahead and go inside and hope, hope that nothing besides your gracious hosts finds you ...
Rules
Rules of the Haunted House
- Please label all threads with the [event] prefix. You can title your haunted rooms whatever you like, just make sure they're in the RP sub-forum of the SF guild.
When you enter, you are actually confined to a single room - albeit impressively large - that can contain just about anything including: hall ways, stairs leading to the ceiling that bring you back out of the floor you just walked up from and creepy-crawlies.
Your first post should have a description of what the room looks like. Feel free to use as much detail as you want!
To find Reyna, Hawk, or Mystic, draw a number from 1 to 3. 1 = Nothing. 2 = Found One!. 3 = Monster! ( PS: The monster is like the hands that grab you and drag you back to the beginning on the dungeon in Zelda, XD. ) Gathering all three candies gets you a special Halloween mini, so every time you get a 2, one of us will post and deliver it.
After you have found all three of them, you can proceed to someone else's room if you like and explore that room for another chance to find them again for another limited mini! Or, if you've had your fill, feel free to escape while the getting is good.
When you have to explore some one else's room, do so after they've all ready collected their candies. That way you do not have to rely on someone else to post for you to have some fun.
Just so you know, Athan does not know about this little haunted house ( his invitation was eaten by a gremlin - on purpose! ) and bad things could happen to those that are still inside when he, inevitably, finds out. Or just the hosts. You never know.

How To Redeem Candies For Minis
- You must have received one blue, one red, and one purple candy. The candies are from Hawk, Reyna, and Mystic respectively.
One complete set of candies can be traded in for ONE mini.
Of note, there are only three mini designs available. <3
Minis are going to be posted in the main thread for sale through November. To redeem your candies, just post a general order form for them once they are made available in the main shop thread and indicate on your form that you're using your candies.
Candies are only redeemable for the Fall themed minis, and cannot be used in other sales.
