This is a walk that takes you all around the ivy covered mountain. It lets you get close to the Kings castle without being thought of as a threat. Also it is beautiful to look at, with flowers blooming all over. The path is pretty narrow, only two people can walk side by side.

The flowers were as beautiful as ever, he decided.

A tall brown haired man strolled a long the walk as a large black wolf padded alongside him. It had been years since Luke had set foot inside the city, but it was almost the same as he had left it... And already, he had decided that leaving the forest was the worst thing he could have possibly done. Sure, he was safer now that he was within the well guarded human sanctuary, but it felt like cage.

The city was alive and bustled with the very beings he had tried to avoid for most of his life - other humans. It seemed he could barely walk down the street without being approached by some merchant or child.

"Look at that, Gévaudan. So typical of humans - how conceited do you have to be to build an ugly building on the remains of an ecosystem?"

Luke muttered darkly as he stared up at the castle. His wolf companion merely snorted. It is rather conceited looking, isn't it? He barked nervously. The man rolled his eyes.

Carissa Lalian

User Image Carissa was turning a bend on her walk. She left her a while back, wandering around like always. She's been here before, cloaking her ears with her hair. She's been here often enough to know that they allowed elves to be here, but she wasn't a city elf. So she took her precautions. 'Better safe then sorry, right?' She thought, lost in her train of thought. She was just taking a walk around the city before going back to the market to get supplies. Who knows where she would go or who she would encounter after leaving the walls.

The blue haired girl didn't notice the man in front of her until she almost ran into him. She looked up, ready to yell at this man to watch where he was walking, until she glanced down seeing a huge wolf next to him. She snickered under her breath and looked back to the man. "Sorry for not watching where I was going." She said as politely as she could muster.

She was pretty tall for most elves, and didn't stand much shorter than the man in front of her. Though he was a lot bigger and older, more experience probably too. She said sorry, so she was waiting for one of them to move. The path wasn't wide enough to fit all three of them side by side, and she sure wasn't going to back up to let them walk by her.

A girl's voice pierced the silence and dragged Luke back to reality. The man slowly turned around and glared at the blue haired annoyance. Gévaudan sat down beside him as he bared his sharp canine teeth. He didn't plan on moving any time soon.

"Can I help you, country bumpkin?"

The man said with a disgusted frown as he sized the girl up.

Carissa Lalian

User Image She glanced down at the wolf threatening her. She sighed and crossed her arms. The wolf wouldn't be moving for her soon. She wasn't looking for a fight like the big bad wolf thought. She just wanted to peacefully pass through and grab some things at the market. That's all. Then she might go wander around some more, taking back trails, hopping not to stumble into a demon or a punk.

She looked up at him, and frowned at the name. 'Loose the attitude is one way to help me.' She thought but instead didn't say it out loud. "Yea, move so I can pass." When his eyes finally traveled back up after looking her over she looked into his eyes. Wondering why he seemed so annoyed when all she did was almost bump into him. Not a huge thing to get you pants in a twist over.

The man narrowed his eyes and glanced at his wolf. We should move? The wolf offered rather unhelpfully as he pawed at the ground.

"Why would I move for the likes of you?"

He asked brusquely as he folded his arms over his chest.

[[ Sorry! Short post is short]]

User Image Carissa sighed and brushed a strand of hair out of her face, tucking in behind her ears. "Please? She asked hopefully. But then sighed. It was not use. The wolf definitely wasn't going to move, and it looked like the man wouldn't either. "Because if you move we can both be on our way and I probably won't have to see you ever again." She suggested, wondering if it was enough to make him move. It was true though. With her constantly moving around she barely saw anyone besides her brother and mother more than once or twice. She shifted her weight on the opposite foot impatiently. Desperately wanting to move on with her life. 'Well this is wasted time. I could be down to the market place by now, and then soon be heading on my way out. But I might want to check out this city before I leave it...' She though trailing off at the end.

((OOC~ It's fine.))
