Reggie sneaked into the dump, hiding behind a pile of broken objects as a black car sped by. She pushed her red hair behind her ears, then quickly peeked out of her hiding spot. Seeing that no one was coming, Reggie pulled out a piece of bread she had taken and ate it hungrily. It's been quite a while since she'd eaten.

Dirim trudged along the path, surrounded by the walls of the buildings and gaping holes of the alleyways. Quite obviously thinking hard while walking, staring at the ground and every now and then glancing at some form of movement in the corner of his eye, muttering something silently to himself, he continues on.

Reggie wiped her mouth, then backed further into the junk, wincing as something sharp scraped her back and neck. She stayed completely still for so long that her back started to ache, but she remained motionless, waiting for whoever was in the dump to go away. "Hopefully I won't be found... that would be bad."

Dirim looked around, The alley was silent too silent. He stopped and stood in place, waiting for whoever it was that was waiting to strike. He continued waiting, looking for any form of movement.

Reggie quietly crawled out of her hiding spot, then, after looking around, she stood up and started to explore the dump until she noticed some one else besides her standing still. Reggie panicked, then jumped, more like tumbled, into a hill of junk, flinching as a bunch of the junk fell down, making a lot of noise. "Man... now I'm given away..." She muttered to herself.

Dirim spun on a heel in a instant and flipped open a book that was hanging from a chain right besides another, the one in his hand a deep fiery red and the other a Night black covered tome with multiple indications that this book, and the one he is holding, is indeed a magical book. Slowly and cautiously stepping towards the place the trash had just scattered across the ground, Looking down at Reggie as one hand was now pointed at the spot above her head, the other holding the book open for him to see

Reggie gulped, then slowly moved backwards. A tiny flame flickered from her fingers as she stopped and warily watched Dirim, ready to defend herself if he attacked.

Dirim looked her over, his silence almost haunting himself. He closed the book and let it drop gently against the other, He gave her one last half glare half disinterested look and wandered off, folding his arms as if he were cold.

Reggie relaxed, then frowned as Dirim walked off. She quietly walked towards the entrance of the dump, smiling to herself, then disappeared in the shadows.

Dirim looked back as the girl ran off, he then returned to his trudging through the cold alleyways, Breathing in shallow breathes. Looking around once more for any sign of movement, he continues his walk through the dangerous alley.

Dirim was instantly tackled the moment the police came across him and in an instant as they appeared, they disappeared dragging Dirim by his arms, quickly making their way back to the police station. Dirim struggled, unknowing of what was going on but knew something bad had happened with the singed head of the cops.

Dirim was shocked, dizzy and confused all at the same time, he was just grabbed by police and was now being dragged by a guy who seemed to have helped him. Dirim looked back and knew by heart the fire extinguishing spell, and with a wave he managed to put out the flames of the cops head at a distance where the next second the two were out of sight.
