It was beautiful late autumn morning. Mist cleared already and bright sun light felt so nicely warm on her fur. It seemed to her as if it was spring rather than autumn.
Pasture was still lush and green and some flowers were still blooming, probably for last time this year. Nienna closed her eyes to enjoy scents of new season. After all it won't last long before beautiful white balls start falling from sky.

The sun beckoned to the meadow flowers with its warmth, enticing them to raise their brightly colored faces. A green and white fluttercorn, in his smallest form, fluttered among the flowers opening to warmth of the sun.
Hovering over a dark orange flower, Terence settled gently, his white legs already a bright yellow with pollen he'd collected from flowers he'd already visited. Tasting the sweet nectar, he closed his eyes and listened to the twinkling bells around him. With a following of curious glowing fairies, Terence's daily flower tending was always accompanied by the bell-like sound their fairy chatter.

Nienna opened her eyes. It was time to have breakfast. She started to walk to patch of grass that looked most delicious. And on her path she would over see tiny fluttercorn if there were no faeries following him. She caught their sparkle with a corner of her eye. She loved those little beings for they were her favorite characters in stories her mother used to tell her when she was little. Turning her head to take a better look she spotted green stallion resting on purple flower. Lovering her head she started to examine him better.
'' Hello there. ''

Startled by the voice over him, Terence tumbled from the flower. His fluttering wings slowed his fall so he plopped gently in the grass. Jarring the yellow pollen from his legs, a golden puff floated up around him. Sneezing at the yellow cloud, Terence lost his concentration and grew to his normal small fluttercorn size.
With the pollen dust no longer around his nose, the sneezing stopped. Terence looked up to see who had spoken.
“Why, hello there. I didn’t know anyone else was around.”

Nienna pulled back a little. It was never her intention to startle the small stallion. She blinked few times as stallion changed his size. It made her happy to meet someone who knows that trick too and wasn't part of her family.
'' I'm sorry. I didn't want to surprise you. ''
She fluffed her wings a bit as she adjusted her size so she could be same as stallion. She remembered how she used to practice size changing with her brother and that made her smile softly. Her mind drifted away as she wondered what he was doing right now.
Bell like sound of the faeries brought her back and she looked around to see what was making it.
'' Nienna... I'm Nienna. ''

Watching as she adjusted her size, he was pleased to see another Flutter. No one understood a flower-loving Flutter, like another Flutter.
He looked at the lavendar beauty in front of him thinking she was as pretty as any flower he'd ever seen. He was almost distracted by the roses in her long flowing mane, but her green eyes brought him back.
"I'm Terence."
