He paced back and forth, glancing at his watch and then glancing out over the roof tops. Recruiting for his team was going to drive him to drink.. proverbially of course. He'd had quite enough -actual- booze for some time after those two bottles shared with Dem...er...Scheelite.
One thing he knew he wanted though was a third person for his team, and he knew just where to turn...if he was right about where she'd show up. It wasn't as though he could just march up to her in the middle of the -day- and ask.
He sat down on an air conditioner unit and checked his notes again and then sighed in frustration. He was early...of course he was early. Better than -late- at least but he was early enough that it was frustrating...
"Come on... where is she." He demanded of an antiquated antenna pole.

Suri had always been a creature for order and routine, taking a systematic approach to every angle of her existance, a trait that carried over into Lieutenant Zircon and her nightly patrols. Although she'd been gone for months, she'd turned in her quotas for the time lost and continued on without skipping a beat, skipping from one familiar rooftop to the next like she'd never taken a break.
Zircon made it a point to let other lieutenants know where she made her patrols, for two reasons: one, it kept the other lieutenants spread out enough that Destiny City would be searched to its maximum potential, and two, it kept the other lieutenants close enough to prevent her from getting overwhelmed by another senshi. Parts of her throbbed with a phantom pain that had subsided months ago, and she scowled. When she was more deserving of her queen, she would become a captain herself, and she'd never have to worry about that sort of thing again.
She almost didn't notice the other agent on the rooftop, as lost in thought as she was, but halted the moment she recognized the covered face. She nodded in his direction, then noticed the upgrade to his uniform. "...Captain," she called, standing tall with her feet planted together at attention. "I wasn't expecting a visit on my patrol. Is everything alright?"

He nodded to her in recognition. "It's been a while..." It was hard to separate rank from age in this case, she was an 'adult' and he was not -quite- so, not legally at any rate. "I heard that you had returned though, and I hoped you'd entertain a favor from me...or at least an idea." He offered up glancing her over again.

"It certainly has." Zircon also gave the boy a quick glance, finding the increased power that seemed to hum outwards from him both fascinating and slightly irritating, given the age difference. It was to be expected, though, considering she'd spent so much time away: one couldn't possibly hope to get promoted while on sick leave.
She nodded, closing the distance between them to make their conversation a little less public (after all, senshi could travel by rooftop, too). Admittedly, curiosity also drew her closer. What would Zinkenite require of her that he could not manage himself? Just the thought was enough to keep her posture upright and proud. "I'm all for ideas. What would you have of me?"

"..." he paused a long moment before speaking, watching her face intently as though he were trying to read her like a book rather than watching another person. "I'm forming a small team..." He said at last, watching her closely with intense light blue eyes.
"... I was hoping you'd be part of it."

Zircon had heard of Captains roping together teams, small task forces designed for intense training sessions and coordinated attacks. Ever since the run-in with Libra, she'd been on the lookout for an opening in one of the groups, for the purpose of having safety in numbers if nothing else. Zircon would never admit it to her fellow officers, but she was still clearly shaken by the run-in, and given that her weapon was flimsy at best, even by a lieutenant's standards, it was best that she placed her trust in those better than her.
"I would never turn down the opportunity to join up with a team," she said with a final nod, the corners of her mouth turning upwards in a thoughtful smile. "What's our objective?"

"Currently I'm targeting clubs... maximizing our energy gathering, we will be, with some luck recruiting a member from 'their' side as well.. but that is a work in progress." He paused and fished out a familiar weapon, if slightly upgraded from wood to metal, his sling shot... and then he turned it over. A crimson stone glinted where it was secured to the handle. "There are other plans as well, once you're all trained to work together as team, we will be targeting lone and new senshi to start with... gathering information on powers, killing who we can, compiling a database with as much information as we can, the more we know about their attacks the better we can evade or counter them." He said and ran a thumb over the crimson stone, it glowed under his touch.
"THIS...will give us the necessary edge... it may not be with me at all times though, as it allows a transformation or rather the appearance of...another person. Real or imagined, the potential to bait and trap senshi is there, as well as its practicality in gathering energy undetected..."
He tilted her head studying her face for interest. "Does any of that appeal to you Lieutenant Zircon?"

Zircon eyed the Crimson Crystal with a wary glance: she understood that they were powerful assets to the Negaverse, but theirs was a power that seemed strange and uncontrollable, capable of putting the better part of a sprawling city to slumber and even to death. The woman was more comfortable with their conventional methods of warfare, and her brow furrowed in uncertainty, but she was not about to let opportunity go to waste just because she had mild reservations against a crystal.
"It sounds perfect. Just let me know where to begin."

"Is there any part in particular that strikes your interest best?" He tilted his head curious, I'll schedule a team training as well, I hope you don't mind starting from the basics just so I can assess how everyone is doing."

"Oh." Zircon paused, having not realized that the question was more than just a rhetorical affirmation. She thought for a moment and carefully strung together her words before she spoke again, looking out toward the dim lights of downtown.
"In terms of maximizing energy gains..." she paused to recollect herself. "I have access to after-school tutoring that could be used as a means to collect energy. I've never been able to collect the energy myself, being in civilian form, but if I remember correctly, Captains need not be in the same room to gather it." She gave him a quizzical look. "With your permission, Captain, I would like to set up shop at my office. The girls wouldn't even notice: after all, it's a long school day, they're sure to be tired."

He nodded "It is a good idea, the more likely they are to be tired the better it is for us, the less likely we are to draw suspicion. That said, if you do run into senshi or have information on them, I would appreciate your eye for detail in regards to name, powers and counters to those powers if any are to be had... we are compiling a database."
