It might help this thread if you drop in your two-cents before the others do.

Given that it's your thread, why don't you consider writing something first to spark a discussion? You already have the topics, so give us some background info and then in with your take on the subject. smile

@Makidzuki - Yea, it's crazy. Why does Google or any other company have to reveal all information about its customers to anybody? It's illegal for ISPs to give out its email addresses to a third party; so revealing everybodies searches (which will also reveal their algorithms, plus people's credit cards/etc); should also be illegal.

With the Bush Administration already accused of eavsdropping on Al Qaeda suspects without court approval; you'd expect him just to stop, yea?

I think the Bush admin is accused of far more than eavesdropping on Al Qaeda suspects.. try flying them out to East European countries and then torturing them in secret prisons. sweatdrop

It all depends on whether you think individual liberties and rights to privacy are more important than probable national security. I'm slightly more on the individual liberties side of the argument myself, but there ya' go. *shrugs

I find it so amusing that in America there only seems to be two real choices.

Yeah... it annoys me. But there are Elimination rounds(not the official term >.>)... but those people never really count cuz you always know which two will be going against each other in the end,

Yeh. But I suppose that way at least you're convinced you have a gov't who is supported by at least 50% of the people (I realise Bush's first victory is debatable) - Here, only 30% of the electorate voted for Labour and yet they have a 66 constituency majority.
