A world filled with magic in its purest form. Life. Nature itself has endowed humans capable of magic: Mystics. These individuals, born with a natural connection to Vyelssea, possess the ability to wield the raw force of the planet. However, not all humans have reached this peak. Those who seek that bond instead turn to artificial means. The arctech. Technology merged with sorcery, a tool to enable the use of the limitless energy present in Vyelssea's natural elements. Through the use of Arctech, Humans have created grand nations and vast cities. However, like all golden ages there are those who oppose progress, oppose peace and oppose what is different. ≈The World≈ We all live on the planet Vyelssea. There are 3 countries: Kailend, Yokazen, Magusch There's one school for Mystics in each country: Aurobellum (Kailend), Priordium Magiuri (Magusch), Saijiru Shinsei (Yokazen) The RP is set in Magusch's Priordium Magiuri. There are 4 Basic Elements : Fire, Water, Earth, WindThere are 4 Compound Elements: Metal, Ice, Lightning, WoodThe purpose of the schools is to teach mystics the power of the basic elements. Those who show prowess in more than one element are eligible to take advanced classes to learn to control compound Elements. Mystics are humans with sensitivities towards Vyelssea's elements. Each Mystic has a unique ability only they have. When a mystic is born, they do not have any power. It is only after they reach their 5th year of age that magical affinity becomes evident and a Sylph is materialized. Sylphs are Physical Manifestations of the Subconscious. They are partners to their Mystic. They are sentient beings whose ultimate goal is to help Mystics achieve total control of their Ability. Sylphs are always present, yet not always physically evoked. They do not speak human language, however Mystic and Sylph share an unbreakable bond. Sylphs cannot die, however they can be hurt and incapacitated. When this occurs, a Mystic's power is decreased or disabled temporarily. Arctech is technology that allows humans to use magic, even though they have no magical affinity. There are six ranks that correspond to each Mystic's magical progress: 1. Cloudhugger2. Rainmaker3. Hailstopper4. Skysplitter5. Starshaper6. SunburstAll new students begin as Cloudhuggers and rank up through a series of rigorous tests. These tests increase in difficulty as rank progresses. There are privileges as well as responsibilities that students obtain as they rank up. ≈~~0=Priordium Magiuri=0~~≈  The Campus is comprised of Four Buildings; one for every two elements: 1.Steelfire Corridor (Fire/Metal)
2.Woodbender Tower (Wind/Wood)
3.Sleet Hall (Water/Ice)
4.Thunder Spire (Earth/Lightning)
Warlock's Haven is the student Lounge/Lunchroom located at the center of the four buildings. The haven is open all day everyday but meals are only served at specified times.
The Healing Ward is located within Sleet Hall. The Healer treats and watches over the injured and the sick everyday at any hour.
Haven Athenaeum is the school library, located within Warlock's Haven. The Athenist foresees all scripture transactions performed within Priordium.
Magus Arena is the training/testing/dueling area. It's an open air dome shaped arena. There are four arenas fitted with special arctech that change the terrain within the training grounds to specifications set by student and/or Professor.
There are various gardens and recreational areas throughout campus, where students are free to do as they please as long as it's within school regulations.
There are 2 dormitories on campus, the buildings are separated by gender.

Her family treats her a bit differently than her siblings due to her being the only Mystic. This made her become very independent, preferring to work alone most of the time. He cares not for other people's comfort and/or pain, focusing solely on fixing the problem and nothing more. His ability lets him regenerate any part of the human body, however it only works for other people; he can't regenerate himself.

~School Regulations~ -Attendance is mandatory for all new students. Please attend school regularly, be punctual and present notes to explain absences. Students in their second year and above are not required to attend class, however in order to advance your growth, it would be in your best interest to learn from our professors.-Respect and follow the instructions of teachers and others in authority. -Attempt all tasks to the best of one's ability, including home study tasks. -Any disorderly conduct such as sneaking out/in or unauthorized fighting will be punished according to the severity of the situation. -Mystics have freedom to use their powers so long as it is not used in a violent manner, compromises other students, and/or violates regulations. -Fighting is not allowed on campus unless it is a sanctioned Duel overseen by a professor in the arena. -Each dorm building is gender specific. While individuals may enter the opposing gender's building, they may not under any circumstance enter any dorm room within the building. -Once the dorm closes for the night, all students should be within their room unless special permission is granted by the groundskeepers. -Those who live outside of Priordium must leave before the gates close at nightfall. -Meals at Warlock's Haven are served three times a day: morning, noon and night. -Refrain from using attire that is revealing and/or offensive. Although the school does not have a dress code, please note that your appearance also affects the School.-Visitors without prior authorization will not be allowed on the premises. You must submit a visitor's form at the Admittance Office within Steelfire Corridor at least two days before visiting date. -You may check out a maximum of Three books from the Haven Athenaeum. -Books need to be returned two days after being checked out of the Athenaeum or there will be a late fee added to your name. Note: Payment method is at the discretion of the Athenist and may include but is not limited to: Monetary reimbursement, Manual Labor, and Detainment.-Injured individuals are to report to the Healing Ward for treatment. Do not attempt any form of healing magic on others as it may have adverse effects if used inappropriately.-Respect and care for school buildings, school property and the property of others. Any form of vandalism will not be tolerated.

 Kika looked towards the sky, noting that the sun had risen above the horizon. She knew by now the school was bustling with students heading towards their first lesson of the day. She had been awake since early morning, training her ice control in a secluded area on campus. Under a tree she sat, focusing on creating ice. A small bit of energy began to appear on her fingertips and took the weak form of an icicle, floating above her palm. A look of pride and achievement crossed her face as she observed the chilling mass in front of her, this was the largest piece she had managed to conjure so far. All seemed well for a few minutes, but suddenly the ice burst, covering her entire arm in ice; her small triumph had turned into a large nightmare. She cursed audibly while looking at her arm and attempted to move her limb, but a sharp pain caused her to rethink her next move. She sighed, stood, and began walking, knowing who she needed to see for her problem.

∞ "Xiel-Sama...Xiel-Sama...Xiel-Sama!" The young maid repeatedly called her master, attempting to wake him up. "We have school today, Xiel-Sama..." Ciraine whimpered her last words. Xiel refused to budge from his comfortable position. She began to rattle his body, and then repeatedly poked in the cheek. "Xiel-Sama..."
"Go away." Xiel mumbled, and coated his body with metal skin. It was a battle between the stubborn, but it was a futile attempt to stop her. She placed her hand on his bare skin, and dispelled his magic. "Master..." She whimpered, with a hopeless expression. "We'll be late then." She crawled to his side, and cuddled besides him then closed her eyes.
Annoyed, Xiel rose from his bed he couldn't sleep with her beside him. "You win." She sat up on her knees, and contently smiled. "Good morning, master." He left his room, and followed his daily morning routine. After breakfast he departed from the Crescent Manor with Ciraine on his side. Unlike most students at Priordium he commuted to school along with Ciraine. He felt that if he lived in the dorm he would lose his freedom, and it was inconvenient if his pet wasn't there to wake him up.
"Xiel-Sama...we'll be late if we walk."
"You're just making an excuse for me to carry you."
"N-n-no I'm not..." Ciraine was immediately flustered.
"Right, well whatever, we have to go suffer another day of school." Xiel's slightly crouched, and his back glowed, streams of light came together forming two gray wings. He lifted Ciraine like doll, and carried on his arms. One arm was wrapped around her waist, while the other on the backside of her knees. She securely wrapped her own arms around his neck.
Without a word he began hovering, and he took flight, they soared across the sky in the direction of the school. Xiel erected a barrier of wind to keep to wind from bothering them, as well as unwanted objects. The school wasn't far, but Xiel decided to spoil Ciraine.
They arrive at campus, Xiel carefully landed in a seclude area, his wings vanished, and he put down his maid. He made his way to his morning, she closely tailed him. Although it was an advanced class, Ciraine got special permission to attend them, since Xiel refused to leave his pet alone. Their schedule was identical, Xiel, and Ciraine were always together, no could ever recall a time when they were apart.
They arrived early despite their event earlier, he choose a seat in very back. Ciraine dragged her chair unusually close towards his. "...The start of another boring day."
"Xiel-Sama what are you thinking?"
"Maybe I should head out and scorch a few weaklings..." As he spoke, his hand lit on fire, he formed a fireball. He bent his finger as if holding something. "Lina." A small sprite materialized within the fire. The pink-haired fairy began fluttering her wings happily, she flew in circles and stopped on Xiel's shoulder. His fiery self rose, the fairy mimicked him creating a fireball in her tiny hands.

Ecstatic, Silvia jumped out of bed. Oh how she had waited for this day, finally, she would join her fellow mystics and learn of her abilities. With a smile plastered on her face, she scampered into the bathroom to clean up for the day. An hour or so later, she emerged, a bright vision of white and blue. Snatching her hat off a bed post, she ran down the stairs and out the door, barely managing to tug the hat unto her head without messing up her golden hair.
"Hurry up Majjin! Don't be a slowpoke, we're going to be late!"
Soon a dark blue orb shadowed her, its glow overpowered by the morning sun. Majjin, the floating entity, followed her with a slight bounce to its flight. It seemed the duo shared an unwavering feeling of glee this fine morning.
It was quite a long run, her home being quite a few miles away from her destination, at one point she had resorted to arguing with the sidewalk for being so hard. Complaining and wishing that it was grass instead proved both ignorant and insulting, as time passed her soles seemed to hit harder with each step.
But eventually she reached her destination. Falling onto her hands and knees, she took a breather at the front gate. Its metallic shine almost blinding. No longer able to run properly, she leaned on it for support, muttering words of gratitude. Usually she'd fear being placed in a mental institution. But today, she was safe from that world...

  ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊⌠Adrian & Damian⌡◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ Adrian and Damian observed a group of new Cloudhuggers as they walked towards their first class while swatting imaginary flies and carefully looking around. They believed they were off exploring the campus, when in truth it was all an illusion.
It was only the first day but the twins were already hard at work deterring rowdy rule breakers like these. The boys seemed to enjoy it though, as it gave them an excuse to play pranks on the students. Once the cloudhuggers reached the entrance to Steelfire Corridor, the illusion vanished and they stared appalled at the doors.
"Hey, what gives?!" One kid exclaimed while they looked around. The twins laughed teasingly at the group and confronted them.
"You guys need to go to class! It's stupid to try to skip while we're here." Damian said teasingly to the group of now angry students.
"Wha? Stupid little squirts, who do you think you are?!" The oldest of the group demanded as he approached the twins menacingly. He stopped abruptly when the image of a teacher appeared behind the twins. Scared, the boy fell back and then quickly scurried off into the building, followed by the rest of the new students.
Damian laughed aloud as the professor vanished, having only been another illusion. ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊⌠Dorm and Grounds Keepers⌡◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊

Now recovered from her bout of exaustion. Silvia found herself walking slowly, her eyes gathering in the sights as she went along. Majjin, took to resting on her shoulder, its wavering light warming her cheek. Occassionally, it would shine a little brighter trying to catch her attention. But as usual, Silvia ignored him. Squealing with delight once she spotted her building.
Moving into a run, Majjin fell off her shoulder. The orb still continued trying to catch her attention but at this moment it was futile.
Silvia skidded to a stop, catching her balance moments from meeting the ground face-to-face. The building had disappeared. She stared and the spot where it had just sttod a second ago, still moving forward slowly.
"Majjin... Where'd it go?" she asked aloud, she knew the orb would not answer back but couldn't help but talk to it. Somehow, they always understood eachother. But that's what sylphs were for right? "I guess you're right, it must have never been there..."
Seeing two individuals nearby, she ran towards them. "Hey! Excuse me!" she called out. Though she went quiet when she got a closer look. It was two boys, possibly a few years younger than her, that looked almost identical. Other than a few differences in color, they were spitting images. "Oh. Twins!"

◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊⌠Adrian & Damian⌡◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ "Hello." The twins said together as they turned their attention toward the girl before them. It seems she was confused by Damian's illusion as well. Adrian, knowing where she needed to go, whispered instructions into his brother's ear. Damian listened intently and nodded, waving his hand in the air and causing a diorama of the campus to appear before them. A small replica of the girl and the twins appeared inside, as well as a green dot showing her destination.
"You need to go there." said Adrian as he pointed towards the dot. He then looked to the path behind the girl, as if expecting something. ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊⌠Dorm and Grounds Keepers⌡◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊

Kika finally reached the path after walking for fifteen minutes. She had managed to cover her arm with her jacket so she wouldn't look suspicious, even though the sleeve was encased in the ice. She looked around and caught the gaze of a small boy, Adrian. She was unsurprised, she was used to him knowing when she was nearby. She smiled at him and approached the twin keepers as they spoke with a girl, probably a cloudhugger. " Hey boys. Working hard right?" she said cheerily as she looked at the diorama. A sudden idea came to her. " Can you tell me where Jen is?" she asked politely, rubbing her frozen arm gently. Adrian glanced at her arm then nodded at her before whispering again into his brother's ear. Waving his hand, Damian made another dot appear on the diorama, this time it was blue. " Great! You guys are the best." She said, giving both of them a nice hug. They smiled back at her, always happy to receive affection. " Good Luck to you." she told the cloudhugger before setting off towards her destination.
